We had a complicated and large move and everyone on their staff was courteous and helpful and worked extremely hard. We recommend them highly!

They came out and I did receive a long distance quote from them that was pretty reasonable but they never emailed or mailed me the formal quote as they said they would. Also they were going to use a 40 ft truck for my belongings that only needed a bob tail (28 ft). Because of the slow response I had to go with another carrier — who was very responsive! The price was a little more then I wanted to spend. The truck looks old but don’t let that fool you. Anthony the driver/​supervisor was outstanding. He and his brother were over the top helpful. Moving is always stressful. I compare it to divorce and an auto accident all in one. These guys make it bearable. They know how to pack it, store it and move it. They put it all back together at the other end and never complained. I’d recommend this company to anyone.

The quote for moving was $ 1,100. and they charged $ 1,650.
They promised 15 boxes for closet stuff, they had 7 damaged.
They damaged so many things and tore and soiled so much of my clothing it is not possible to list it.
They were like hiring guys off of the street, no skill or planning and plenty of breaks and «getting lost on the way» for an extra 45 minutes. We ended up not even taking everything we had been quoted for and they had to bring an extra truck because they didn’t have enough room. I believe this was from their lack of properly loading the truck. They ruined an antique trunk that I told them had to be put on a dolly and not carried by the handles. Damaged a 40″ flat screen. Lots of time standing around waiting for one guy to tell them what to do. Oh yes, they also damaged the bricks on the front steps of the house, after I reminded them and the guy who did the bid previous to the move about bricks being softer than concrete and to protect the edges.
Guess what? Cardboard doesn’t work. (One of the clothing boxes.)
Worst move of my life and that includes the ones where I was young and broke and had to move everything myself with a U-​Haul, at least then nothing was damaged.

I have moved too many times to count in my lifetime. This was by far the most professional company I have ever worked with. Michael F., Steve, Josh and Floyd were polite, professional, helpful and extremely hard-​working and FAST! I would not hesitate in the least to use Courtesy Moving again or recommend them to anyone! I found their pricing to be competitive and fair. More importantly, their expertise was evident from the initial estimate to when they loaded the final few items on the trucks. This is a first-​class company!

BEWARE OF OVERCHARGING! (Fresno CA)
We were quoted $ 450.00 for two people for four hours including the gas and 15 minute drive time to the new house. After the move they wanted to charge me almost $ 600.
They showed up in the largest semi I have ever seen for a 950 sq ft 2 bedroom house. They did not even ask if that size truck could be parked close to the house. They had to park quite a distance away which added to the move time. Also what is a 10 minute drive to the new house took them over an hour before they were out of the truck opening the semi to unload. The driver did NOT know how to maneuver that large of a truck and it was painfully obvious as when they were backing down the ¹⁄₈ mile dead end road it took them almost 15 minutes AND they nearly took out a couple of mailboxes.
They showed up at 8:15. We left the old house at 10:15. They began unloading some time after 11:00 and finished at 1:05. This is a total of 4 hours. Since we were quoted the gas and drive time were included I gave them a check for 4.25 hours and then they started arguing with me in my own living room. Trying to get me to pay for their lack of driving skills and the undue delay in starting to unload.
DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE

Unprofessional and unprepared. Damaged mattress, did not place in bag as the quote stated. Brought truck that was too small, so I had to pay for the extra trip. Put my bed together incorrectly, then lied about it to their boss when I called to complain. All I wanted was them to come fix the bed. Manager was unprofessional, telling me he didn’t believe me. Moved again and different movers told me that it was put together back wrong. Worse moving experience.

Driver Mike and helper Mark arrived on time and delivered the service we contracted for. Both of these men went above and beyond. They loaded and unloaded our possessions with expert care.
In between they stopped off at my sister’s house to drop off a washer, dryer and refer. At her home they unhooked and moved her existing appliances and hooked up the new appliances.
Both men were polite and professional. I would recommend Courtesy Moving Service to anyone in the Valley that needs a move!

I’ve moved more than a dozen times in my life and hired movers for at least a third of them. I’ve used Mayflower, Bekin, and a few smaller companies and Courtesy Moving Service is by far the best company yet. They wrap everything carefully and treat it like it’s their own. Despite the speed with which they loaded our things, nothing was damaged when it arrived and that’s a first. The guys were friendly, professional, and efficient. What more can you ask for from a moving company? I don’t plan to move again anytime in the near future but when and if I do, Courtesy Moving is the first place I’ll call.
