–16,000,000 stars. Worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life. I have been meaning to write a review for some time now, but have put it off simply because I probably don’t want to relive the experience. I took my car in to get a paint job a few months back, since my car is only six years old and the paint has already started to peel. Honda issued a new warranty for certain vehicles with certain VIN numbers which extends the paint warranty to 10 years, and my vehicle was included. Before leaving my vehicle, I was told I would be able to get a courtesy car when one became available; however, during the whole 4 – 5 days my car was in the shop, I was told no courtesy cars were available. I found this ridiculous considering it’s Honda’s fault my car needed new paint so early since they botched it when originally painting the vehicle before being sold, and I was inconvienced having to hitch rides for the better part of a week. Every time I called, I kept getting the run around from the general manager, who was extremely rude each time. I was also called while my car was there and told I needed a new battery; however, my battery was less than two years old and still under warranty. I told them to replace it. Afterwards, I was told my old battery had been thrown away even though they knew it was still under warranty, which means I could have turned it in to the manufacturer to recoup some of my money. These are professionals and know better than to do that… they simply just do not care. Finally, the day comes to actually pick up my car, and they did a sloppy job job with the paint. My car looked worse than when I took it in. The numbers used to keep track of the cars was strewn about on my floor for me to pick up, and there was white residue on my panels that was really hard to get off and I STILL haven’t even gotten it all off. I can’t believe they call themselves professionals. Sorriest excuse for a business ever ran.

I bought a car from clawson not too long ago…
Their customer service is really amazing… their sales reps are very helpful specially Joe Noriega make you feel like you are a part of a family… anytime i have trouble with the car i talk to joe and he personally looks after the repairs from the time it starts to the time it ends… i feel very welcome every time i’m there…
Not to mention their lifetime engine warranty… its hard to match that offer…

I came here a few weekends ago to check out one of the cars I viewed online. The picture online was just a thumbnail and did not depict the actual car. I called in asking one of the sales reps to take pictures of the car so I could view its condition. Beautiful car, flawless. When I arrived to the dealership they brought out the car I had been viewing online EXCEPT this car was in horrible condition. Scratches everywhere, dents, engine looked rusted (Honda Accord 2013). I was promised by Joe that he could get the scratches out and some of the dents. Long story short, he failed to return my calls and provided horrible customer service. Avoid this dealership at ALL costs. The difference between this dealership and Tracy Honda (where I eventually bought my car) was night and day. As a customer dropping thousands of dollars on a product, you deserve better service and care.

Time wasters! Called about a car, told it was on the lot. Set an appointment and get a call just before I arrive that someone who works there is out joy riding! Lame, don;t waste your time!

Once again, I am thoroughly impressed with everyone at Clawson! Not only do they provide the most polite and professional services, they also work hard to make sure that my car is driving safely. I am always very uncomfortable taking my car to get services done but with Clawson it is almost enjoyable. I have never been as impressed with a service business than I am with Clawson’s. Thanks for always providing the friendliest service!!!

Wow if I could give them zero stars I would for sure. This place sucks at communication. I was waiting to hear back from an offer I made and they called me back 2 days later just to tell me they sold the car I was interested in. Thanks Clawson Honda for the great service.

So I decided to try out Clawson Honda. my last recent two cars were bought at Honda North, although I enjoyed the experience of Honda North, Clawson Honda had more used cars available in their inventory. when I got there we had come across a deal and I couldn’t afford a down payment but Clawson Honda needed a thousand down to give me the car I was upset because I let them know from the beginning that I didn’t have a down payment. i stormed out of there very angry because I couldn’t afford a car that I desperately needed for work. I left their office sad and disappointed but a financial manager named Rachel I believe did something that amazed me, she went and put herself on the line to get me that car. She went up the chain of command and got me a lower price and lower payments without a down payment from me. I was beside myself. I told her I couldn’t make it down and she offered to bring the papers to my work to sign so I wouldn’t be inconvenienced. She went well above and beyond to help me and my family out. I will never forget her or clawson honda and I will be bringing all my friends here. Thanks again

It’s about time I wrote a review about this place. I went in last month with an offer they gave me on a civic through email. I came in acting like I had no clue about my credit score and thought I’d come out with a pleasant experience. Unfortunately, the car salesman Garol thought that he could pass one by on me and lied to me about my credit score. «655» not only did he lie about my score but he didn’t even bother to give me a copy of it. The deal they were trying to push was $ 219 a month and no down on a 15 civic. Garol came back and offered $ 375 a month. Insane.
I decided to go to Honda North with the offer and told me my credit score is «718» not «655». Took me a few days but I got the car from Honda North and had an awesome experience out of it. Plus a GREAT Deal!
PS. Garol has to be the worst/​sleaziest car guy out there. Also Clawson Honda, if you can, please stop calling me. I already got a new Civic and it wasn’t from you punks.

My 2015 Honda SUCKS!!! Break issues, AC Issues, Not enough power and sucks gas LIKE YOU WOULD NOT BELIEVE. The navigation system DIAL is a pain in the ASS!!! I miss my Toyota Camry.

Was wanting to trade in our car for a newer one & that was a week ago with no curtsy calls lettin us know how our loan is or it’s a yes or no. Left megs. No one calls back. That’s unprofessional !

Talked to an online sales agent who assured me they could price match any other quote I got from a different dealer. I did the hour drive to get there and have sales man tell me there’s no way he’s gonna give me that price on the car. Then had another manager come tell me that the place that quoted me was gonna rack up their price when I got there or say that they didn’t have the car. I can happily say I drove to that dealership n got the car at a way lower price they had quoted me out the door with taxes and fees. The car even had more accessories (splash guards, trunk mat, wheel locks) Elk Grove Honda is sure worth the drive! Better business.

We have only experience with the service department.
Both times we’ve come here, we’ve had issues/​concerns.
The first time, last year, we asked the service department to check a rattling noise.
After picking up the car, not two minutes after driving away, we still heard the rattle.
We called and there was an answering machine with the service rep, so we left a message. No one ever called us back.
We thought we’d try again and made an appointment recently for our scheduled oil change. We brought the car in a few minutes before our appointment time. No one seemed particularly eager to assist us, so my husband went inside to find help. We specifically asked for a phone call to let us know if tires needed rotating or if anything else required service. An hour and a half later, we had still heard nothing, so my husband figured the oil change must be done and we dropped him off. They were still not finished with the car. Another problem was that the website explicitly states that there is a free car wash included. The folks working apparently had no idea this was part of the service. When my husband asked if he could still get it washed, he was advised that he would need to wait another 30 – 45 minutes, and we did not have time to do this, so we left without it.
We will NOT be returning to this location, and can probably have our oil changed and car washed for less money elsewhere. Very disappointed.

So.spent a weekend on the car search. Two stops on Saturday and three on Sunday this was the fourth stop (second Honda dealership, and second stop on Sunday) in the re-​evaluated car search,.
Have visited a couple times in the past (previous searches) and didn’t come away with a great impression. This time around, we were helped by Eric Rodriguez; what a night and day difference a good sales rep can make. Friendly and helpful, no games and not pushy at all… seriously great to deal with. Eric is one of the two sales reps we dealt with (out of many) in the long journey of the car search I would recommend (which for me, says a lot). On top of that, they undercut the already good price from the other Honda dealer in Clovis by a bit, and included another big perk.
On to the dealership; as far as we say, Clawson has stepped up their game in that department too. Multiple waiting areas with reasonably comfortable chairs (including a kids’ area), multiple tvs, so you have something to watch while you wait, plus the standard vending machines, and the non-​standard free water and coffee. Even finance wasn’t a hassle, even given all the paperwork that IS a necessary part of the process. I get that they have to present the service plans and such, but they weren’t even pushy on that, which is definitely appreciated.
While you’re in finance, they detail the vehicle, and even give you a full tank of gas. Given the (growing) level of tech in today’s cars, they even walk you through some of the settings in the car, explain the options if needed, and then walk you through the process of setting them the way you want them (plus any other items you have questions on).
So far, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

Arrived at 9 am to purchase a used car.. I simply test drove it. Moved directly into financing.. 11am, they are still trying to structure the deal. Finally at 2 pm. We agree to sign papers. 3 pm papers are signed, they have my money. It’s now 415 pm, and I’m still here waiting for the car to deliver. Detail shouldn’t take that long on a car that was clean to begin with. No optional equipment to install or remove. This place simply lags. I’ve watched people all day wait for long periods of time for service! I recommend you go elsewhere..

My husband and I stopped by just to look at their cars, and ended up walking out with an awesome new-​used vehicle. The reps are not like piranhas at most other dealerships, the ask you if you need any help and don’t keep hounding you. Our rep was very trust-​worthy, friendly, knowledgeable and definitely went the extra mile for us. The rep let us bring our own mechanic to look at the car before we purchased it. The fact that Clawson offers a lifetime engine warranty on all of their vehicles, speaks volumes. The process was easy, we were treated fair and well, and we are planning on returning for a family vehicle in the future.

First their labor rates are higher than Honda north and so are their parts. Second they charged me for something that was covered under my warranty –I will be calling corporate tomorrow!

So the first issue was not being able to get an appointment for service. The guy I talked to informed me that he didn’t have the appointment list and I needed to call. Called after 5 and was informed that the girls who make the appointments had already gone home for the day. Hmm… the service department is opened till 5:30, should be making appointments till then. Went to Honda North for the service. Then found I was missing a cap under my hood. Called Clawson to see if they have the part, left me on hold for over 5 minutes. Ridiculous. Went back to Honda North. Seriously Clawson, need to get your stuff together.

Do yourself a favor: drive past Clawson Honda, take a left when you get to Herndon, and go see Ron at Fresno Infiniti.
I have never had a worse experience than I did at Clawson Honda. It started in the typical way. I walked on the lot wanting to see a Honda Accord and get a few questions answered. You can only get so much information from the Honda website. The salesman who greeted me was very nice, but he had his script and it was all he knew. I had to sit through a ridiculously long presentation about every tiny thing he thought was important about the car. I felt like I was stuck in some awful timeshare presentation that they lure you into with the promise of free things. Unfortunately when it came to my questions about the car, options, and differences between trims, the salesman was completely clueless. I hate to talk bad about the salesman because he was very nice. But he was of no use to me.
Finally I got to test drive the car. It was nice enough. Unfortunately the car salesman was a gnat in my ear through the entire drive, regaling me with more useless details about the car and still unable to answer any of my question.
Once we got back is when the magic truly began. I asked what the asking price was for the car. He said they had a Costco promotion and asked if I was a member. He took my card to make a copy, which apparently takes 45 minutes. I think it may be time for a new copy machine. Even the hand cranked one my elementary school teachers used didn’t take that long.
Finally he comes back with my card and a printout and introduces me to the jerk who was supposed to close the deal. I guess it’s not fair to call the guy a jerk. He was probably just a regular guy and I was put off by his cliché seedy night club persona (some parts of the physical description may have been skewed by the general impression given by his personality): the ridiculous diamond earrings that nobody could afford if they were real, the over-​gelled hair, the fake gold watch and chain, the shaved stripes in one eyebrow, the Axe Body Spray he bathed in right before walking out. I make mocking jokery, but what truly offended me was his unbelievably cocky attitude. His smile, which was as fake as his jewelry, was more arrogant than Kanye West interrupting Taylor Swift receiving an award. He refused to talk about purchase price and would only discuss monthly payments. He talked to me like I was an idiot, and was visibly angry upon discovering I wasn’t the half-​wit he presumed. The monthly payments are part of the equation but I want to know how much I’m paying for the car in total. What little chance he had of selling me a car based on how he carried himself alone, disappeared completely with this tactic.
I will never know what price I was actually looking at for the car because I walked out and headed to Fresno Infiniti and asked for Ron, as a friend had recommended. I didn’t think I could afford an Infiniti so I didn’t start there. It turns out for just a few bucks a month more than I was going to pay Mr. Shaved Eyebrows at Clawson, I got an Infiniti G37, which is a much better car, with many more options, not to mention the excitement of driving a luxury car with 328 horsepower. All of which I purchased without having to deal with someone who treated me like a drunk 20-​something girl whose drink he just drugged.

Unfortunately there is no zero stars. This is the worst Honda service center that I have ever been. Nobody answer phone, trying to get an appointment impossible. My car really need an oil change, well they do not care at all. I been in different Honda dealers around States from big cities to really small towns and still no words to describe the terrible and crapy service. Thank you for nothing …

If I could, I would give them zero stars.
I lost all keys to my Honda, and they wanted to charge me $ 200+ to buy and program a key, AND I would have had to find a way to get the car to the dealership.
Very unprofessional service, unpleasant experience, very displeased.
I will not return.
