Carol did makeup and hair for my daughter’s wedding. She did my daughter, her mother-​in-​law, and me. All three of us were very happy with her work. Our hair and makeup stayed perfect all day and night, and Carol made us all feel relaxed and confident!

Carol did a wonderful job with me and my bridesmaids! I was very particular about what I wanted and Carol worked with me until we found it. She was patient with me and from day one she was focused on making sure I would look and feel beautiful. She brought her girls to Wolf Lakes and was set up and ready to go by 8 am sharp. I felt relaxed all day. I was able to chat with my bridesmaids and sisters, eat lunch, take our wedding pics and I still looked fabulous at the end of the night! Thanks Carol for your attention and patience, and a big thank you to your assistants as well!

I had a destination wedding in California and booked Carol to do my hair and make up based on a recommendation from my florist. Carol did an amazing job! We were not able to have a trial run, but that was not a problem. My hair looked better than the pictures I showed her and my make up stayed all day and night. I have very sensetive skin but I had not issues with the make at all. I highly recommend using Carol for any event.

Carol was amazing to work with for my daughter’s wedding 2 weekends ago. From our first meeting, the trial run and then the big day, she did everything in her power to make the day go flawless… she truly listened to what we wanted and made it happen! She was even helpful in recommendations for some acne issues my daughter was having before the wedding. Sarah’s hair and makeup were beautiful and exactly what she wanted… I would recommend her 100% for all your hair and makeup needs. I will continue to use Carol for my haircuts after the wedding as she knows exactly what I want!

From the initial meet to the final product (my wedding day!), Carol (& her team) came with a high degree of professionalism and expertise. Thanks to our first meeting and the trial hair and makeup, I was completely confident that my ladies, mom, mother-​in-​law and I would look our very best on the big day, and Carol did not disappoint. Carol guarantees that their work will be done on time, which is so important since hair and makeup are the first events of the wedding day. We were done early enough to get to the venue and take care of our final set up before pictures. It was incredible to know I didn’t need to worry about my makeup melting or fading or my hair going awry all day/​night. I felt beautiful and received lots of compliments, and the same goes for the rest of the ladies. Much thanks to Carol Silva and her great team of hair and makeup artists that got up at the crack of dawn to get my girls and me ready! Ladies, prioritize hair and makeup when you’re making your wedding budget — years down the line, you’ll only have pictures to remind you of that special day and don’t you want to look your best?

I would not recommend Carol to anyone ever, and it’s good she recently left this business to pursue an opportunity elsewhere. Carol is brash and abrasive, and can be incredibly rude. For my wedding, I pre-​paid for a practice session (hair and makeup) for me and my sister. The appointment was scheduled for 3 weeks before the wedding, but Carol called and asked to reschedule because she had gotten a new job. We did our best (but since we both work 8 – 5 it’s not like we could drop everything) and she was very irritated we had a hard time accommodating her request, even though she only gave us 1 weeks notice. On top of that, when we arrived and she started working on my hair, she was INCREDIBLY rude to my sister, who had offered her opinion on my hairstyle. Carol basically told her to sit down and be silent because she had to «connect» with me. Totally ridiculous and unacceptable.
On my wedding day, all Carol talked about was her new job. My hair ended up looking terrible, and when I told her I was completely unhappy with it (because it looked NOTHING like the practice session) she literally pushed down on the top of my head and said «Oh, it will naturally lay down a bit with time.». After that, I couldn’t push her out the door fast enough, and my sister, mom and I did our best to fix the mess. Oh yeah, and on top of all this, my makeup looked terrible. She didn’t blend in the foundation, and my eyelashes weren’t glued on properly. Again, after she left we fixed this.
All in all, my wedding day was absolutely perfect EXCEPT for Carol. She was the worst part of my day, and I hope the others find this review helpful if she does get back into the wedding hair/​makeup business.
