Installation of my cars sound system was quick and painless. I was expecting it to cost a fortune, but was very pleasantly surprised. Everything was completed in a timely manner. I was putting off getting the sound system installed, due to me worrying about the time and cost– but it was all for nothing. Great experience.

They wanted almost $ 500 labor to install an amp and 2 door speakers. The amp they quoted me in was more than double the price of Amazon. No thanks !

Very professional service. Stopped in yesterday for my first time. I had a problem with the system that came in a car I just purchased from out of town. The gentlemen there came right outside, diagnosed the system, tested all my fuses and circuits. Within a minute he told me the issue, provided plenty of helpful information (i knew nothing about the system) he provided me with some very honest options, told me what I could do and what he could do for me and I was on my way with no charge. I intend to try and fix it myself as much as i can and bring it back. If I ever need anything stereo related this is will be my first stop. I would highly recomended this business and I would gladly support them. It’s hard to find a kind, honest and professional business around here. Thanks again! I’m sure I’ll be in there again soon.

I just had such a great experience here! I came in and described the features I was looking for in a new car stereo and about an hour later I was driving away with everything sounding great. They have plenty to choose from, and I’ll go back again when it’s time to upgrade my speakers. Everyone there was super nice and helped make sure everything was done right the first time. Thanks!

These guys did an awesome job! Called Tuesday night before they closed asking when I could get in to install a deck for my wife (we were leaving for a trip Wednesday afternoon) and the guy told me just to come in in the morning and he’d squeeze me in. Receptionist was beyond nice and you kinda want to hug her at the end. They did a great job hooking everything up and making sure things were flush. After terrible experience with «audio innovations» this was my next test and I’ll be going here again.

wasn’t sure I wanted to do a review of these folks — I bought sound systems from them many years ago and was quite pleased — thus I went back cause the cds in my deck were skipping.
i should confess, at this point, that I’m an «elderly» (hate that) woman — and I’m still stuck in the old days when a «radio» didn’t have so many «extras» that it could cook dinner as well as make sound…
and I explained this to richard, the guy helping me. over and over. I needed something very simple, wasn’t planning on going down the street blasting sound at all the other cars, didn’t need to hook up an ipod or phone or god-​only-​knows-​what-​people-​do these days, just a simple deck. well, there’s no such thing, I guess — at least not that he could or would show me. but finally sucked it up, picked one out and had it installed.
I then went home and read the manual, made notes, really studied it, but just couldn’t adjust whatever was necessary to get good sounds. so back I went. Richard sat with me in the car, found some settings that gave me a sound i liked, and showed me how everything else worked — including how I could change the color, adjust an equalizer (what the hell???), etc., etc. — none of which I wanted to do. and trying to do any of this when driving down the road takes way more concentration than I’m willing to risk.
then my cds started skipping again. i checked with pioneer, and they said it had a year warranty, so back i went to autosoundlab. this is when i began picking up a bit of impatience from both the owner and Richard. the owner agreed to ship it back to pioneer (at my expense) and put in the same model. ’bout this time i began thinking that if i upgraded to the usb port model, skipping cds wouldn’t be a future problem. interestingly, Richard never suggested this as a real solution to my cd issue — the vibe i got was that maybe i was the problem, not the deck.
i now have a cd deck that has a display so dim that i can only see it at night (and it can’t be adjusted to be any brighter, regardless of its many colors…), that i have to go thru at least 5 functions to select music from the folders I’ve burned, and i have to sit in my driveway to make any adjustments to balance, fader, etc. i really don’t like my new deck… not enough to buy another one, but close.
when i decided to upgrade my speakers, i went to audio innovations (see Unilocal review). james just shook his head when he saw the deck — he was trying to make some adjustments to the sound and said «how can you ever even see this display — i can’t see a thing». i innocently asked if they weren’t all that way and he said they’d never sell something that would cause someone to need to pull off the road and have to stick their head down about 3 inches away from the deck in order to see the display. my thoughts exactly. it sucks.
and autosoundlab either didn’t know this or didn’t care, and that’s too bad. they may do other things really great, but Richard never bothered to spend the time needed to recommend a deck I’d be happy with. even as i stood there and looked miserable about all the crap I’d have to deal with to just play the radio. he didn’t pick up on any of that, instead giving me a «that’s the way it is» attitude. that may sell radios, but it doesn’t create happy customers.
«customized» sound systems need to be customized to the person listening. yea, I’m no 20 year-​old that can drive, text, talk on the phone and adjust their radio all at the same time. but i do know how to rip/​burn mp3s, cds and usb sticks and appreciate good sound. i really didn’t like the feeling i got from these folks that somehow the world has passed me by and it’s my problem, not theirs. so gray-​heads, beware.

I have been going to Autosound lab now for 8 years. They a great stereo in my truck back in 2006 and when I needed a new deck with better technology they switched it out in a few short hours. The staff takes time to go over options and explain the different features of the stereo products they offer. My truck stereo was still going strong after 8 years. The quality and craftsmanship of their work is unmatched in Fresno. I also had them fix up a stereo in an older car I had. They were more than willing to work with some equipment I had in my garage. They even tested it to make sure it worked. Overall I am very satisfied and will continue to be a repeat customer for any of my stereo needs.

Great to do business with. The prices are reasonable, they are curteous and helpful, and the installation was A+. They took the time when I picked up my car to go over the features of the stereo and get everything working together.
I called the next day because I could not find the owners books and they were accidently left in the shop. They even brought them to my office the same day I called. Very happy customer!

I got an alarm system put in about a week ago. Over the phone the lady quoted me all together it would be $ 215. It was suppose to be a 4 – 5 hr job. Dropped it off at 9AM. I didn’t get the car back until 4PM & somehow the price went up to $ 313 (she said as she stated on the phone, I never heard her say $ 313 or I would of gone somewhere else). But she gave me a discount of $ 50. I’ve had the alarm go off on me twice now. What I don’t like is the lock & unlock button is the same button. Which I think is stupid. So I still have to make sure manually the car is locked because the alarm is so low you can barely hear it. I’m glad I have alarm put on my car but I’m not 100% happy so I give it a rating of 3 for this place.

We brought the car in twice. The first time they did not have a harness for the CD Receiver so we had to come back and get the car and then set another appointment, but I thought it was handled well. I had them install a Clifford Security system in the vehicle as well. I asked if there would be a discount since I was having the installation done at the same time for both the receiver and the security system. I was told they would give me a $ 50 discount. The discount was actually $ 30, then the woman told me that the total savings was $ 54 with the tax savings. I doubt that there was $ 24 tax saved on a $ 30 discount. The worst part about it was that the Clifford model she discounted $ 30 was, according to her, originally $ 299. It was invoiced for $ 269 with the discount, however, the particular model that was actually installed in the car has a MSRP of $ 239 on Clifford’s website. I should have asked more questions.

yes i like auto sound lab for these reasons .ive had them put my car alarm in and been couple years ago .its a clifford… good one… what i like they are so nice they give you a ride home while your car is getting worked on… pick you up when its done… yes i even put them on angie’s list

I had a great experience with these folks. The new deck is amazing, and the install was quick and looks perfect. I will definitely recommend this place, and we’ll be bringing the other car here when it comes time to upgrade that system, too.

This is probably THE best place for stereo equipment and alarms. Don’t bother going anywhere else. Superior customer service, and quality work.

I had a problem with my old car alarm so i called Autosound Lab. Right from the start, they were very nice on the phone and told me how to temporarily fix my problem. I spoke to them about several different options and decided to purchase a new alarm system for my car.
I called back several times because I wasn’t sure about my schedule/​money situation, but was able to schedule an appointment for the same day. They even gave me a ride back to my place because the service would take about 3 – 4 hours.
When I arrived to pick up my car, they showed me all the features of the alarm and everything looked/​worked great. So far, no complaints at all! They told me if there were any adjustments or anything I needed done to just bring it back in.
Definitely recommend this place! Great work and great customer service!
