APF is a family owned motorcycle dismantler and dealer, and has been in continuous business since 1974. With over 40 years of experience, we can surely assist you with any inquiry you may have. We specialize in used motorcycles, new/used parts, and aftermarket parts and accessories. We also sell new OEM parts for all major Japanese makes, including Yamaha, Suzuki, Kawasaki, and Honda. Our new location at 3967 E. Central Ave will help us better serve our new and long time customers.

Pete is the owner of APF Motorcycle Salvage, and has been riding since 1971. He used race competitively in flat track and motocross, and has been around motorcycles his whole life. Motorcycles are his passion and he strives to provide you with a great customer experience.

Called about a rearset for my 2004 R1, they said they had an 08 R1 rearset that was the same part. Everything I read online said only 04 – 06 parts would fit, my mechanic even said the same thing. APF said that they confirmed it was a direct match. I bought the part from them at a very reasonable price and took it to my mechanic. Low and behold, APF was 100% correct! Fit like a glove and I was back riding again the same day! Pete (who I believe is the owner) even offered to allow me to return the part if it didn’t fit. These guys are awesome and I feel very lucky to live close enough to them to pick up parts when needed. They have a great selection and the customer service was awesome. If you need parts, see these guys first!

Very knowledge and honest staff. I go here for everything i need, weather its a small 5 dollar part or a 1000 dollar job i always get grade a customer service! They have everything you need or they can and will order it in a timely manner!

Don’t go here if you expect anyone to help you with anything.
I went here to look for a part and was told where the back door was to go look. Passed 3 employees on the way back and wasn’t even spoken to.
Interesting experience as far as looking at broken and crashed motorcycles. Each of them seems to have a story it wants to tell. As far as finding the part, no luck, but I didn’t have anyone to help me look and it was mostly scattered in a pile on a shelf.
My suggestion would be to engage your customers a little. I know its Fresno and all, but a simple greeting would work wonders. I don’t see any reason to ever go back and thats a shame. It has potential.

I updated my review to reflect a 3 star rating because I respect the fact that an employee took the time to comment on my experience. This shows that it was probably a bad day for the business when I visited. And I simply have to show some respect for a business employee /owner who actually takes the time to address feedback and comments. Good job!

I am so disgusted with the service APF gave me. I took in my 1986 Honda CT 110 because there were 2 broken spokes on the back wheel and many more were loose. I purchased the spokes, brought them in and was charged 112 for labor and 8 for a new tube. Great. I drove it away happy. Later that week I felt the back wheel getting wobbly again. Turns out 10 spokes now were broken and half of the remaining spokes were tight half the spokes were loose. I complained and they said I should buy a whole new set of spokes and they would do the labor for free, which is what they did, but the service they provided was again half-ass like the first time I brought it in, AND they forgot to put the spacer back in, AND there was a fat dent in it! If their not going to tighten and true the wheel correctly, they need to not do it at all. The wheel is so important to get right; THEY COULD HAVE KILLED ME! DO NOT TAKE YOUR WHEELS TO apf. THEY suck.

APF is great! They love motorcycles and it shows. The staff is very helpful. Turns out one of the employees was a previous owner of the bike that I am now restoring. He has been great telling me of all of the performance mods he did that I wasn’t aware of as work on the bike. While waiting for him several other employees offered assistance. They have a very clean organized shop and if they don’t have the part they will find it for you. Bottom line is that APF is great at providing service and knowledge without trying to break your wallet.
