Studio E School of Dance has been giving a complete dance education to children and adults in the Fresh Meadows, NY area since 1969.

Our classes range from preschool creative & combination classes to ballet, jazz, tap, hip hop, and contemporary. We also offer a variety of adult classes, including Yoga, Zumba, Salsa, Stretch, Ballet, and Tap.

This is my daughter’s 4th year at Studio E. The instructors are very attentive, the staff is very professional and my daughter has gained a great deal of experience. This year she is taking Contemporary and her teacher Miss. Andrea is awesome!

We are at Studio E practically every night. My daughter loves the teachers (who are all amazing dancers and so nice). It’s like family. I noticed how close the dancers are to each other and how they encourage each other. We’ll be coming here for many more years to come.

Our daugher has been a student at Studio E School of Dance since the age of 2. She is now 17 and is an accomplished dancer, has had wonderful teachers, and amazing friends, all because of her experience here. She is now versed in almost all forms of dance, and plans on contining to study dance as a minor next year when she starts college. We cannot say enough good things about our experience here, and highy recommend Studio E School of Dance to anyone who is interested in either starting dance or considering changing dance studios!

This is my daughter’s first year here. I was referred by a close friend who’s daughter has been going here for the past 10 years. I agree with the other two reviewers. The prices are very reasonable and the staff is very friendly. I too wish they played a live feed of what the students were doing in the rooms so the waiting parents could observe. But my husband brought up a good point. That might lead to a lot of parents critiquing the teacher’s style of teaching or their child’s moves/​behaviors. Although I am in favor of the live video feed I am also in favor of the less drama the better. I don’t want this great experience turning into an episode of Dance Moms.

it’s a cute little dance studio for children and adults alike. as for kids, it would be helpful if they turned the screen on so that parents can watch the little ones. the girls at the desk are friendly and helpful. i can see my Little growing up here and having something to look forward to at the end of every weekend. perhaps it’s time for some classes again for the mama as well? updates to come on this one…

I really like this dance studio! The teachers and staff are very professional, the rates are reasonable, and there is a decent waiting area. The only downside is, it’s hard to watch the kids’ classes since the doors are closed. I would suggest a video monitor so the waiting parents can observe class without distracting anyone.
