Music Together is children and their grownups joyfully sharing songs, rhymes, movement, and instrument play, both in music class and in their daily lives. A pioneer in early childhood music and movement education, Music Together offers classes for children from birth through kindergarten, in which parents and caregivers actively participate. Wiggling, singing, and laughing with your child is so much fun, it’s easy to forget how much learning is taking place! Our research-based curriculum not only develops music skills, it nurtures creativity, self-expression, and confidence all while supporting social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development. Because these benefits build over time, children enjoy the fullest growth in each of these areas when they participate as consistently as possible, clear up through kindergarten. Our program is guided by the love and respect of children, music, play, and family! Classes Monday Through Sunday, Fall, Winter, Spring and Summer at one of our convenient locations.
History
Established in 2003.
I kept hearing, from my husband, about this amazing grown-up and child music program called «Music Together®». Soon after I was offered the opportunity to take the licensed trainining and teach for Beverly Ron. In the Fall of 2003 I opened my own center in Bayside with 3 classes and Mommy, Music, & Me, inc. was born.
My vision for Mommy, Music & Me, inc., has always been to provide a highly nurturing place where families participate, stimulate and support their children’s musical, creative, social and academic journey of learning, in developmentally appropriate and fantastic ways. I AM guiding families to reach their full potential through joyful family music making experiences that bring out the best in everyone and can continue with their music making at home!
Babies from our 2003 classes and on have a deep love of music making and often continue their love of music with formal music education; school choirs, bands, and orchestras.
