This review is specifically for Shahla. Every one there is awesome and friendly but she is most definitely my eyebrow threading queen!!! I’ve been coming here for about a year now and I dare go any where else except for Shahla. She’s a super sweet, down to earth lady. A total gem of the Dulhan Beauty Salon. Love love loveeeee her!!!

Didi’s attention to detail was seamless. she listened to exactly what i wanted and kept the natural shape of my brows while leaving the thickness and length which i value.

Be careful, make sure that they do not double dip.
I usually get waxes all the time in astoria (Queens Beauty Parlor), but it’s a bit far from where I live. I decided to try it out for legs and underarms. The legs were okay, pretty clean, but i still had one or two hairs, but for my underarms, the lady double dipped!!! I even had to ask her to change a stick, and she looked taken back by my response.
I told the manager afterwards, and she apologized and was very sincere about it. They offered my next wax to be free. I am still a tad bit hesitant. but their service is very good, and the manager is very nice.
The prices, not too expensive. 3 stars because I’ll probably still come here for the eyebrow/​lip threading, which they do a really good job on.

First time customer, went for eyebrow threading and absolutely in love! I’m very picky with my brows but based on what I’d heard about this place and being that I live in the area, I figured I’d give it a try. I specifically asked Didi beforehand to please not leave my brows too thin and she made sure to thoroughly clean them and yet still leave them absolutely perfect! Aside from providing me with the best service I’ve received compared to anywhere else, she’s an absolute sweetheart. And the owner is very kind as well! Will definitely be back.

I decided to check the place out when I first moved to Fresh Meadows, hoping that this place would become my new eyebrow spot. As a client that has been going fairly often for eyebrow threading and facials, it’s amazing. The service lived up to my expectations. The ladies are so nice and sweet, they will not give you a hard time and they’re extremely polite. They have very good deals, I just find out they do gel nails for $ 19.99 so I’m looking forward to my next visit! If you’re looking for perfect eyebrows, visit this spot.

Decided to give this place a try due to the overwhelmingly positive reviews for eyebrow threading. I was able to be seen right away, but that’s about where the good ends for me. The woman who did my brows was not that friendly, and she seemed rushed although there was only one other person in the salon, and that person was already being serviced. Although I asked her to just clean up my eyebrows, she proceeded to butcher them, making them uneven and much thinner than what I asked for. I actually have two different eyebrow shapes now. This place did not at all live up to my expectations.

I was recommended to come here from a friend to get my eyebrows threaded by Shella. She is the best of the best! I’ve seen her about six times already, and she threads and trims my eyebrows perfectly every time. She is very consistent in her work. Shella is the only person I let thread my eyebrows. It only cost me $ 5, which is such a steal.
Not only that, but I love the woman on Mondays who styles hair– the Japanese lady, Rie (did I spell it correctly?). She is such a sweetheart and has such a warm personality. She trimmed my hair exactly the way I like it.
This is such a hole in the wall place that is easy to overlook. This salon is definitely worth your visit.

I’ve been coming here since 2010 and till this day I haven’t stopped getting compliment on my eyebrows. From work to my dental office!

Didi did my threading as a first time customer at this salon. I love the shape! I did ask her to further thread an area under my brow, and she was happy to do so while explaining that she is very careful incase I wouldn’t be happy about it being too thin. I much rather this scenario than any other mishap.

Staffs are so sweet. I called in at the last minute on a cold Monday night. They probably would’ve closed two hours earlier if I didn’t go, so I know it could def be annoying. But they made me feel really comfortable and didn’t rush at all. I’ll def be a returning customer.

They made me feel very relaxed and they took their time even after I asked them to do my brows after closing.

Got my eyebrows threaded here and they did a really good job. Very friendly and was only $ 5 which is a great deal. Would definitely come again.

When I came here for the first time, one of the workers perfected my eyebrows and I instantly fell in love with this place. The next time I came a different worker did my eyebrows. I specifically told her how i wanted them to look and she threaded my eyebrows the way SHE wanted it to look. I hated it. She gave me so much attitude and force my head on the chair as I was explaining it to her. She cleaned my eyebrows with such force! Hate this place, she wants to thread your eyebrows the ways she wants it. Wouldn’t recommend.

Love this place! Always an in and out. Never a long wait. They do a good job and the price is right. I always leave happy :)

My go to eyebrow place and I’m from Staten Island. I go here mostly bc of the price, it’s definitely cheaper and better than anywhere on Staten Island. But they raised the price from $ 5 to $ 6 for eyebrow threading. Pretty decent job, I’ve been mostly satisfied out of all the times I’ve been here.

I don’t trust just any salon for eyebrow threading. Dulhan Salon is my go to for my eyebrow needs and so much more. It is truly a hidden gem in Fresh Meadows.
I was found Tehmina when I moved to the neighborhood and my Mother in Law recommended her. At first I was unsure, but happy to find someone so close to home.
I was excited when I heard that she was going to be opening up her own salon in the area. I’ve been going to her for about three years now and do not feel the need to go elsewhere.
Many of my friends are usually very skeptical when it comes to going to a Desi owner’s salon for hair. Let me tell you, you will not be disappointed. With Tehmina, you are in good hands.
Tehmina comes from a background of working in an American salon. She has clients that come from everywhere who recognize her talent. She knows what she is doing and is amazing at it.
She is really talented and very good at what she does. I visit often for eyebrow threading (they wax as well), I’ve gotten haircuts, my hair styled, and hair colored (ombré). Tehmina also did my party makeup for an event once. Over time she has become a good friend.
Shaila is really great too. She cut my hair and is another go to person for eyebrows.
This salon is like a family. Everyone is very friendly, they know you on a first name basis, and they have even offer chai if you have been waiting a while, thanks to Didi who is the cutest!
A word of advice: do NOT overlook Dulhan Salon. Although this is a salon that has become popular in the area with the Aunties, I urge you to go here no matter what. You will not be disappointed, I promise you that. Especially if you live close and are looking for an inexpensive salon with great services and a good place to get your eyebrows done!

This is a new eyebrow threading place by my house so I thought I would try it out. Im very picky when it comes to my eyebrows so walking into this new salon I was a bit hesitant.
I was greeted when I walked in. Tehmina did my eyebrows (threading) and she did it fast and very neat and clean. I came here around 5pm and it wasn’t crowded with people and I didn’t have a wait. I highly recommend her when you come here. $ 5 eyebrow threading you cant beat that.
I will definitely come again it convenient because there is parking and not crowded with people.

Needed my eyebrows done, well and fast.
Place was pretty empty so threading for $ 5 and 10 minutes wasn’t too bad. Got them done by Tamina and she was nice, a little rough on the threading but they were finished into a good shape.
However, I disliked that I had to clean up after myself. I had leftover eyebrows all over my face which was inconvenient for me since I wear contacts and I didn’t want all the hair going in my eyes. Other than that, I’m satisfied.
