The family and I love Boston Market! We have been going to this one here in Fresh Meadows for some time now. especially since the parking lot is massive and it’s in the same location as where our favorite theater(AMC Fresh Meadows 7) is located. I have never had a bad experience here. Some days one just doesn’t want McDonalds nor Wendys. The place is always clean and the staff always smiles at the customers. even when it’s a monsoon outside! I was there last night and the place wasn’t too full. The ladies who work there told me about a special that they had and it was soooo tempting since I already had a plan in mind as to what to get. Every time the containers(with sweet yams, mashed potatoes, creamy spinach, stuffing etc.) are almost empty… the staff does a great job refilling them. I usually get sides: yams, seasoned corn, mashed potato and mac n cheese. I highly recommend this place!

This was my first time coming here to eat. I must say it was a pretty good experience. I had their ¼ ribs and ¼ Rotisserie chicken meal that came with 2 sides. I chose a side of green beans and creamy spinach. They had many sides to choose from which includes green beans, Mac and cheese, creamy spinach, corn, stuffing, mixed veggies, fries, and mash potato. Their rotisserie chicken is a must try. The chicken is very tender and definately worth the price. It’s also a healthier option than fried chicken anyday. As for the ribs, I wouldn’t say they’re the best ribs but for the price, yes it’s good. I also found a coupon for a free dessert, hence, I picked a brownie. The Brownie was too sweet for my liking but it’s not bad for chocolate lovers. I’d give this 5 stars being that it’s a decent fast food restaurant.

Went on Christmas day to buy food for homeless. Female Hispanic girl behind the counter was so rude even Makin a comment to her friend in Spanish about customers coming in on Christmas bothering them!!. I asked her to give me a pound of ham in addition to the meals I was getting. She proved that’s that’s exactly where she belonged. When she was about to rip me off the other female told her a pound was 16 ounces. When I got home to make sandwiches I saw this lazy woman gave me half turkey in the pound of ham I asked for. I will never go back. She was so rude. Boston market should hire welcoming humble people, not rude inconsiderate imbisil like that and it’s just her. Ppl beware of your orders and check it out before you leave if she is helping you!

My boyfriend & I have been here a few times for lunch when we’re in Queens and just want something simple and inexpensive. I wouldn’t recommend coming here all the time, but it’s a good place to come for a quick, easy, and like I said inexpensive meal and of course for take-out. It’s pretty packed here on the weekends, so you have to definitely be quick to grab a seat/table. The service here is average. The atmosphere is a little meh, not the most pleasant. Each time I am here, the women’s restroom is always locked and there’s always a line and I would have to find an employee to open up the restroom. The food here is okay. I’ve tried their BBQ ribs before and that was okay. I like the roast chicken the best, very tasty and roasted to perfection! As for their sides, the mac-n-cheese is way too cheesy, the mashed potatoes and corn is yum! Would I come back here again? Sure, if I need something quick and easy and if I am not looking to sit down too long. Otherwise, I would run to either Five Guys or somewhere for food and better atmospshere.

Of all the branches, this location is clean. The employees are polite and patient. The food is cooked throughly. Employees come around often checking on the customer and clearing away used dishes, etc. Jenny, one of the employee there, goes out her way to make you feel comfortable.

This place is inexpensive and there’s a wide selection to choose from. I came here three times so far, and I honestly didn’t think it was filling. The chicken was good the first time I came, but the second and third times, it was mediocre. I enjoyed the mash potato sides though. Despite that, I guess it’s a nice snack to have in the middle of the day when hungry because with both price and quality in consideration, Boston Market is one of the better choices to go with in that area. Boston Market is pretty clean in my opinion. They also give you a cup to fill with water if you request it. However, even with the good service, it won’t make it on top of the list if the food isn’t on par. Would I come back here again? Sure, after I try out the other thousands of food places out there that I’ve yet to visit.

We love Boston Market’s rotisserie chicken. We got two half chicken meal with corn, mac n’ cheese, creamy spinach, & the mashed potato with cheese n’ bacon. They were great! The staff were polite & friendly. We’re not sure if all Boston Market location has it but there is a sriracha hot sauce in this particular location.

I love their meatloaf with mashed potatoes and Mac and cheese or creamed spinach or stuffing or corn. And their apple slices! But one star off because sometimes the people behind the counter sort of give an attitude of they don’t care and don’t pay attention to what I’m trying to ask them. But that’s only happened a couple of times. The food is great so that more than makes up for it.

My good old quarter white and my two sides for lunch. Didn’t give it more than three stars because it’s just Boston market. I get my food and leave. Never had any order or customer service issues so it’s an even exchange.

I got yo BM in BM haaaan. LOL no. I love BM and have been coming here for years. This food is just sooooo good. The portions are just right and the quality is just so consistent. Their take on comfort food is just unbeatable for the price and convenience, unless you’re in the south.

I’ve been going to this Boston Market for years now. This time i went with the whole family. First, the bad stuff: The lines are always slow here. I know they try hard but it’s a popular place. I just wish they’d figure out a way to make the wait less than 10 – 15 minutes each time. Now the good: Everything else is good. The food is tasty. Most of the veggies arrive in large cans I’m sure, but they taste just fine. The corn bread is scrumptious. The portions are ok and the service is always good here. On occasion, i would complain about this or that and they’d give me another side without even blinking an eye. The soft drinks are refillable and plentiful. Also, the atmosphere is quite nice and fresh looking. They don’t make the mistake of NOT renovating every few years. The workers are trained very well. That’s one of the keys to good service here. Overall, it’s decent value for the money and you won’t go away hungry or unhappy. Howard S.

I am addicted to the market bowl!!! Chicken with cream spinach and string beans for $ 7.88(tax included in that price) is a steal! I’ve yet to have a bad experience at this location. The line can be long at times but the staff know what to do to move things along. Another plus: they give coupons with the receipt so you’re almost forced to come back(well not really forced but I had letting a coupon go to waste). Overall: See you guys on Saturday(Thats when I have to use my coupon by lol)

My first time trying Boston market & I loved it. I got a 3 piece chicken combo with 2 sides, a cornbread & a drink for $ 9. That’s great. The place was so busy but managed to get the lines moving. My boyfriend also got the same combo as me. One star off for not mentioning the 2 for $ 20 special. chicken was recently out & they changed the sides so I got them fresh as well. I will defiantly be eating Boston market again

Would you believe that one of our early dates my wife and I had was at this Boston Market? It was her idea actually because I’d never had their rotisserie chicken before then. We picked up a family meal(very prophetic) for a date night in watching DVDs. Once I chomped on the first piece of chicken, I was hooked. Perfectly seasoned, moist & flavorful, Boston’s chicken is hard to beat. Along with the large variety of side dishes, it makes a great midweek dinner when you don’t want to cook. If you’re sick of chicken, you can vary it up with their meatloaf, which is quite good or the sliced turkey breast, which sometimes can be dry, if it’s been sitting. Favorite side dishes: buttered corn, loaded mashed potatoes, creamed spinach, stuffing, green beans. If you like spicy sweet, you can now get dipping sauces to go with your chicken. You have a choice of Zesty BBQ, Honey Habanero or my fave, Sweet Thai Chili. Spice it up! This BM has also closed temporarily for renovations but is now back to slinging those spinning fowl with a brand new food service case and you can enjoy your meal on new tables & chairs.

I’m always hesitant to review chain restaurants. I don’t want people to confuse my opinion of this restaurant to other Boston Market at other locations. I’m not a big fan of this particular one. The portions of the food are small and they’re very sloppy when preparing it. They just want to hurry up and get the line moving. It isn’t the cleanest place either. I see workers wiping tables with one cloth… I hope they know that after one table, the cloth isn’t clean anymore and shouldn’t be used to clean the rest of the tables. Hopefully they can change these lazy habits because I love Boston Market and this is the only one that’s close to my apartment.

Unfortunatly I have to give this establishment 1 star. I did not eat here(on this occasion thank goodness!!) but my friend had a horrifying experience. After he already purchased his meal, he went to the soda machine and filled his cup with lemonade, floating in his cup was a cockroach. Although some of the employees did their best efforts to assure my friend they had changed the lemonade, he asked for a refund which they gave him with no problem.

I’ve frequented this Boston Market for a number of years now & maybe on just a handful of occasions, I’ve had a minor complaint or two on the food end of things. One time I ordered chicken breast with stuffing & it tasted like the salt container may have tipped over into the stuffing when no one was looking… Ok, maybe not that bad but definitely a little over-salted(for my taste anyhow)… I usually stick with the chicken breast meals but I used to order the meatloaf & liked it just fine. There have been a few occasions where the chicken breast has been a bit rubbery but not often enough for me to avoid returning to the establishment. The chicken was still edible. On the customer service end of things, really no compaints! The servers are always very pleasant to deal with & they keep things moving along! That is always a BIG plus! I had one thing happen last time I was there for take out about 2 weeks back where I ordered an additional side of the sweet potato(one of my FAVES), only to get home & not find it in the bag :-(Now THAT was disappointing… I actually eat that with the cornbread as my dessert. I wasn’t charged for the extra side though. Just a heads up to double check that they have all your items when they are about to ring you up. I know this for next time. It was the very first time that ever happened, so again… really can’t complain. ’ SH*T ’ happens… I almost didn’t write this review but I figured it would be a good thing to let anyone interested know that the servers really do make the BM experience at this location a pleasant experience! As I’ve state in past reviews regarding customer service/relations… it sure does go a long way… Hmmm… Now that I mentioned it, that meatloaf dinner may be on the menu tonite! It’s been awhile ;) ** UPDATE **(that was fast, I know)… I really ended up going to BM for the meatloaf dinner tonite & it was better than I remembered. Got it with green beans & the mac & cheese(forgot how really good the mac & cheese was). Oh, yes… I got my extra side of sweet potato too! I actually had the same girl this time that forgot it last time but she was on her game tonite! Even gave me a side of gravy for the meatloaf.(But I was watching very carefully)…Lol … THUMBSUPBM

Have not eaten at Boston Market for so many years. Decided to give it a try today. The rotisserie chicken tasted delicious. The Mac and cheese was pretty good. The corn was the same. I was never a fan cornbread so I didn’t care for it. The one star missing is the service. It was packed. There were many people preparing orders but only one cashier. Needless to say it took a bit longer than expected and there was confusion.

This was my ‘hood for the last 7+ years and if it wasn’t for a space issue we would’ve lived here for the next 7+ years. We frequented this BM quite often as it was a 5 minute drive/15 minute leisurely stroll from our old home. We love BM and all their«gourmet» offerings but this location has inexplicable lines at the weirdest times(Saturday afternoon at 3pm?! regular non-holiday Tuesday evening?!) And then there are the servers. The majority of the servers underserve. What does this mean, you ask? They always go one scoop short of filling up the container! This makes me very mad as I feel like I’m totally being jipped from the portion that we are paying for. I mean come on, how expensive is it to make that mashed potato or that rice pilaf? And there is one particular server that is SUPER stingy with the extra gravy requests. Last weekend we bought the 6 person meal, which comes with 6 sides and two chickens. We had 2 mashed potato orders and she gave me 1.5 containers of gravy on the side. WTF? It’s always this one server who does this too. I am always praying not to get her when I’m on line but alas, I always have the worst luck at BM. :( Food is great, service is slow and inefficient. If only there were more BM locations!(please open one up in Floral Park!)
