it was good, better than average then other american-chinese fast food joints, however like others have written this place has nothing special otherwise, so if your looking for some quick good fast food then go here. They accept grubhub which is a big plus for me, I can order using my credit card and pick within 10 mins.

This place is a nice spot if you are looking to fill your stomach with something nice and cheap. It doesn’t really stand out from other Chinese take outs because I feel they are all the same taste wise. This is like the Chinese style of fast food. But if you are just looking for food fast for a good price then you are good to go.

My favorite spot to order from. Used to live 4 blocks from this place and order all the time than I moved away further and it was out of there delivery area, but the owner still let’s me order delivery at no extra charge. Now that’s customer service.

Probably the best Chinese takeout in the area, not saying much because most in the area are horrible. Service is usually fast and delivery orders are always as I ordered them. I would give it four stars but there is a lot more to be desired.

This place is horrible. One time or another myself or one of my co-workers had ordered from here and had gotten sick. We will never order from this place again.

THIEVES!!! If I could give them 0 stars I would. These people have the worst customer service ever. Requested a lunch special and wanted a drink instead of the soup. She charged me full price for the drink, so I told her, if she was gonna charge me full price, then just give me a my soup. Apparently she wasn’t understanding the concept. Gives me my soup then proceeds to take my drink away. I was so frustrated I simply decided to get my drink elsewhere. I paid them with a $ 20 dollar bill for a meal that costs 5.75 and when I checked my money, I was. missing 10 dollars. I tell her and she denies that I gave her the 20. Her manager comes and he sides with her and throws a dollar in my face and tells me to go away. Apparently the customer is wrong in this business! I checked my meal… and of course no condiments nor noodles for the soup. THISPLACEIS A DISGRACE!!!

I loved this place but it has started to go down in quality. I have asked for my sesame chicken to be crispy twice now and when I picked it up it was rubbery and soft. It made me want to vomit. I really like the people that own it but the truth hurts.

This is the worst Chinese restaurant in the neighborhood. My General Tso’s Chicken was soft and overly sweet(no spiciness at all, even though I requested extra spicy), my egg roll was soft and bland. My girlfriend’s fried tofu was barely fried and the veggie dumplings were awful. The portions were smaller than all their competitors. We came here because our usual place(Hong Kong Garden) didn’t have very good dumplings and this place got such wonderful reviews. This poor quality can’t even be attributed to delivery time, we picked it up and were there before it was even ready. Let me tell you: the good reviews are wildly undeserved. I’ve gotten better Chinese food made by southern white people in South Carolina. The best in Fresh Meadows is still, and will forever be, Hong Kong Garden(just not the dumplings).

Like another reviewer said this place is now called A Taste of China. I recently moved to the area and I am a regular here. They are reasonably priced and the portions are nicely sized and everything I’ve had so far is delish. They always get here pretty fast too. Their General Tso’s Chicken is my favorite. And if you order over $ 30 you actually get an order of General Tso’s Chicken, free. Awesome!

I’ve submitted to Unilocal twice about the new management/name/phone number, but they still haven’t changed it. This place is now called A Taste of China, and is officially my new favorite take-out spot! They make my favorite dishes exactly the way I like them, and their service is wonderful. The delivery always come very fast and they always give plenty of napkins/sauces/utensils, plus a free soda on the side. Let’s just say, they got here so fast that my General Tso’s Chicken was still crispy. The combination platters are reasonably priced, so are the rest of the menu. The lady who takes orders over the phone is very nice and she knows me by phone number now, since I’ve been ordering very frequently. I’m very glad to have found this place.

First time ordering here… it was really good and cheap! They gave a generous amount for the lunch special that one person can’t even finish. I saved the rest of dinner and the next days lunch. This is now my new favorite fast food for chinese food.

A good Chinese take-out restaurant in my neighborhood. I have been going to this place for almost 3 years. When my brother and I were sick of cooking and eating school food, we used to go to this place and order for takeout. Now my brother is not with me, so I stopped going there. Today, since I was helping mom doing blanket laundry and also because this restaurant is next to the laundromat, I decided to order some Chinese food for dinner. Our menu? Shrimp Egg Foo Young(Cooked egg with shrimps in it) and General Tso Chicken. Since the order was over $ 12, they got us a can of soda for free. YAY! Their food is not oily at all and the portion is a lot for the price. Shrimp Egg Foo Young was good, but they gave us too much sauce for that.(I had to throw a half of it away.) General Tso Chicken was sauce-less, but it was good that way. They gave us separated chicken and rice and the chicken was sauce-less, rice wasn’t ruined at all. Nice. It was a rediscovery of my neighborhood.
