Such a surprise! Really good massage. Weird that they tell you what to tip when I made appointment and told me to bring cash. Perhaps it’s bc I had a groupon. The massage itself was really good. They exposed a lot of your skin so be prepared. I wasn’t expecting that nor was I expecting a buttocks rub. But it really loosened my back and stiff joints. So why 3 and not 4? It’s actually 3.5

I went to this place today and at first I was very impressed with how clean and nice the place was. They asked me to pay the $ 50 (+$ 1 fee) before they’ve started the massage, which I thought was odd. But anyway, the Massage was great and I was very happy until it came to tip time when the massage lady Elyse said it’s a $ 20 minimum for tip for their hard work. I don’t know if they don’t realize that’s over a 30% tip and absolutely ridiculous to expect and ask for that. I think I’m a very generous tipper, having worked for the service industry most of my life and understanding what hard work is. Unfortunately, when i was a server, i wouldn’t have asked or expected a customer to give me $ 20 tip on a $ 50 tab. I don’t know if they dont understand as a service, people are expected to give AT LEAST a 15% tip on the total cost of the service and if the customer wants to tip more because the service was great then that’s how it works. But to EXPECT a 30% tip for mediocre to good service is crazy, rude and presumptuous. You dont TELL the customer what to tip… stupid business move. I was really excited and thought I had found a great massage place to go to once a week, but since they obviously don’t understand the simple, well known and common courtesy to NOT ask for a huge, ridiculous tip for the cost of service, i absolutely will not be back and I will warn anyone else to not go there unless you stick to your guns and give them a tip YOU feel they deserve. What a disappointment!!!

Message room was tiny. The steam room was at the end of the hall way far from the message room with the shower room on the other side. This means that you would have to wrap your naked self in a towel and walk in a non private environment in order to get in and out of the steam/​shower room. Not my taste.
The masseuse was friendly buy a bit too chatty. She also applied too much pressure that the next day I got a couple bruises on my head and neck. Skill wise i wouldn’t say she was good either, I did not feel relaxed afterwards at all .
On the side note, the masseuse told me the place was clean and actually changed their sheets every time but not all Chinese massage places do that, which has caused an alarm.
Now the worst thing, on the phone when I booked the appointment, they ASKed me to bring cash for the tips.

I showed up with an almost expired groupon coupon on a weekday morning. i had to wait about 10 or 15 minutes but no big deal. other than the undocumented time restrictions, the coupon itself was economical. Helen gave me a light massage after asking what I wanted. Towards the end she was walking on my back (ashiatsu) while we chatted. Helen was always very professional yet still friendly. I tipped her with what I hoped was a reasonable if not generous tip for a job well done. I would like to make a side comment on some of the other less positive reviews: these folks work very hard in a country far from their homeland, and get paid relatively little. They still have to live and in some cases support their families either locally in one of the most expensive areas to live in the USA, or overseas. This is not to excuse rudeness but I think we can all benefit from stepping back a bit, taking a deep breath, and considering the larger picture before issuing a review which can damage income or hurt feelings. It’s maybe 90 minutes of feeling good for us, but to them it is their workplace, their livelihood and their career. The world benefits, and our own karmas benefit, when we take a positive attitude and practice being (more) charitable towards each other.

First time here. Parking absolutely sucks, I ordered a deep tissue massage ($ 50) and it was a barely deep one to borderline relaxation massage. Music was relaxing, clean, however at the end the masseuse asked for a tip right away and said $ 20. I’m definitely not coming back.

I bought the Groupon for the message for a good price. Called and went in for the message. Its was good but not the best. They told me that they will not honor Groupon in future and do not ask my friends to buy it. The lady told me that her boss told that they are not making money with Groupon. I told her ok. As i was giving her tips the lady told me the tips was $ 20.00. I was shocked. I bought the deal from Groupon for only $ 29.00. She just stood by me waiting to give her the money. Its was really rude and i will not go again.

I don’t get a chance to receive their service.
I purchased a groupon and called in to make a weekend appointment. And the lady told me the deal is only good from Monday to Thursday and within certain hours (i didn’t hear correctly, but it’s like 10 — 5 or something) that people have a regular daytime job will never make it. The restriction was nowhere mentioned on the groupon. And then she said that’s groupon’s fault and plus weekend is their busiest hours and why they are serving groupon customers in that time. Well, what else can I say. I appreciate her honesty, but you want to publicity and do not want to do the job. I don’t think that’s the way you should handle your business.

Place went down hill. They used to be really nice and professional. Now they’re rude and greedy. You should never demand a tip. More specifically you should never demand a 20 dollar tip for a 50 dollar massage. They have officially lost my business

I found this spa on groupon so I decided to give it a try. This was my first time getting a massage. Overall it was good. I give it two stars because as I was giving «conny» a tip she counted my money and said, «it’s not enough it’s usually $ 10– $ 20.» I thought it was rude since it is supposed to be «gratitude». I will not be going back.

one of the most best massage parlor I ever went and i went to a lot and this was the best one. The bed was great and comfortable and so warm and cozy.
And the lady, Mary, Oh she was sooo perfect. Jessie, the manager was super friendly and very attractive. I highly recommend this place to anyone who likes a great massage. Do not miss out guys, you will love this place. :))

Came by for a massage the other day and this experience left a lot to be desired.
Their 1 hour massage was $ 50 cash only or $ 1 surcharge for credit cards. The massage was held in a private room and the masseuse was chatty…
She didn’t do much more than rub oil all over my back and body?!? …I asked for a «strong» massage and she continued to just rub oil?!?
They request for payment upfront along with a «suggested $ 20 tip for their hard work?!?»
The try to earn your repeat business by offering 1 free massage after paying for 5 via 5 Stars?!?
The massage parlor was in good condition on the inside… especially the bathroom!

Found this place through groupon. When I came in she had me pay first which was a little odd. I normally don’t carry much cash so I would have normally tipped through credit card. But who tips before getting a service? Nobody .
I go in to the room and get ready lay on the table I was laying there for almost 20 minutes before my lady came in and started. I then knew to start my timer. Which she did give me my whole 90 minutes worth. The massage overall was good, however there was a language barrier and I had to tell her to lighten the pressure multiple times. Which could be why I feel like I’ve been hit my a bus today.
And now I fast forward to what made my experience so awful. I only had 3 dollars cash so I gave it to her. She then unfolds the money, turns her lip up at me like I was scum, puts it on the table and says «normally we get 20 dollars this isn’t enough, I work hard». EXCUSE ME?! I’m sorry BUT HOW FUCKING RUDE?! I work in the service industry and a tip is never ever required. Nor do you ever ask for more. I was so shocked and embarrassed that she was trying to shame me in front of her coworkers. I told her she was so rude and walked out and was lucky that i even left her what I did!
Will never ever ever go back! And will spread the word at how horribly unprofessional this establishment is! Take that for a tip you ungrateful woman!

First visit after purchasing a Groupon for a nice discount.
After doing a little research and hearing good reviews related to massage by Mary, I booked her via their website. Although when I arrived they seem a little confused about my reservation and then confused about my groupon…
Anyway, after that was sorted out, no more problems… Nice, clean, and quiet place.
First, Mary asked me about what I wanted to concentrate on today. Many other similar massage places simply go about their generic massage without asking you. Some ask and ignore your requests anyway. Others can’t even understand English enough to speak with you. No problems with Mary… She understood me, repeated exactly what I needed and smiled with a «no problem»
I asked her to concentrate only on my back, neck, and shoulders as I have problem areas there. I said I want a strong, deep tissue massage… She said «no problem» and then proceeded to warn me that I could be a little sore the next day.
Then she proceeded to give me the treatment. She takes deep tissue to a whole new level…
When I have sore muscles, I go to massage to work out those kinks and smooth out those knots. Mary did a great job. I felt like a new person walking out one hour later.

This place is wonderful and relaxing. The masseuses are very professional and skilled at releiving your stress. Service is always friendly and relaxing. I highly recommend this place.

Alright, if you have ever stepped into a foot massage place… mostly operated by Chinese masseuses, then you know how they differ from your traditional spas… a lot of karate chop, abrupt moves. I have left numerous foot massage places with isolated pain.
I love Burke Williams and I can be a real spa snob. If you go to Burke Santana Row (go see Mark!!) Today, I needed a massage stat and no appts. were available with Mark at Burke.
My friend recommended this spot — so I thought why not, close to home and I was in dire need of a massage. I called and got an appt.
The place is clean, small front room with water available, and separate rooms. Their website is pretty useful, photos and descriptions of staff are kinda funny but cute. I picked Melody because it said she specializes in SPORT and I typically get DEEP TISSUE massages.
Melody — 70 minutes Deep Tissue Massage at medium pressure — She has small, thin hands but damn — girl is strong! She worked my knots in my shoulders, my cramps in my calves, and quads out. She asked me what areas to focus on. Her English is fairly good. She said my left side was extremely tight and my lower back was extremely tight (all true). She did straddle on the bed at one point and worked the heck out of my lower back. That was awesome. Oh, and they massage your buttocks. That’s different… Fine with me. They wipe the oils off you with hot towels near the end. Finished off with a face and scalp massage, at this point I could sleep.
$ 55 — for 70 minutes (if you pay with credit card), $ 50 if you pay with cash. Yeah, thats annoying– but next time I will just bring cash.
$ 10 — for lavender oil. I asked the receptionist what they used and she said non-​fragranced oil for free, but I wanted lavender because I am spa snob, remember? :) Next time, I will probably bring my own and ask them to use it. It is just like those nail shops — extra $ 5 for every thing.
$ 5 — 20 minutes in steam room. Okay, remember when I said I am a spa snob? I usually chill in the steam room before & after my massages. this time I was there at 4pm and hung out for about 15 minutes in there (temp said 115 degrees F). Then proceeded to my massage. Steam room was empty, just me. Was able to take my towel off and chill in solitude. Clean. Shower was available outside to rinse off. They provided plenty of towels, slippers and a robe.
Anyhow — last minute non-​snobby spa experience for $ 70 ($ 55 massage + $ 5 steam room + $ 10 lavender). I feel great. I am going to sleep great. I would come back for Melody. Can’t beat the price!
p. s. Melody did not ask me for a tip like some of these other reviews. I made sure to tip her well since she was very good.

Wanted to give this place 5 stars for:
–taking me on such short notice
–not being too expensive
–rooms are actually room, as opposed to the divider wall type «room» at some places
–clean and nice looking
–massage table was comfy and the face protector is cloth so it doesn’t leave lines on your face
I took away stars because:
–my massage therapist came into the room as I was still putting on clothes even after I yelled, «no. Do not come in!» Even then, she gave me 30 seconds to put a top on and proceeded to go in and started taking off the sheets and cleaning up as I was still trying to gather my stuff and put on my shoes.

After seeing the sign «$ 50 for 70 minutes» out front several times I just had to check it out. It’s close and only a couple blocks from my house. I was pretty annoyed that they leave these signs out on the sidewalk and on the street corners over night which is against the City Municipal Code and promotes bad business practice. If one business leaves their stand up advertisements on the street corner out ²⁴⁄₇ it’s only fair that every business should be able to also leave their ads up on public property. No! This is bad business practice! Imagine if every business left signs up on public side walks ²⁴⁄₇ we’d have one ugly looking community!
My visit started by walking towards the back and being promptly greeted by a lady who led me to my room. There she told me to «just take a quick nap, it will only be 5 minutes» Well about 15 – 20 minutes past and my masseuse was still nowhere to be found so I put my clothes back on, walk out to the lobby and ask whats going on and she says «Nonononono only 2 more minutes.»
Whelp, 5 minutes later my masseuse comes in. She’s doing a solid job, is friendly and respectful. I was having a small chat with her and about 30 minutes into the massage I hear the door open and close. I resume my chat only to hear someone who sounds really awkward go «uhhhh» and then I’m like «WAIT DID YOU JUST SWITCH ON ME?» We laughed it off but it’s still a very awkward and unprofessional thing to do.
Fast forward to the end of the massage: I tip my masseuse $ 10 and she asks me to double the tip so that she can give her friend the first masseuse a tip. Never mind the fact she ACTUALLY ASKED ME TO TIP MORE. I said «No, I had to wait 25 minutes in the room when the receptionist quoted me 5 minutes.» She argued with me and said that it’s not her fault it’s her managers fault. I told her that she should go ask her manager to pay the tip she thinks shes missing.
Warm Springs Spa gets a one star review, why? Take your pick, bad business practice, illegal advertising, lying, asking me to tip more… any of those will do.

As much as I enjoyed the lady who have me my massage my overall experience was not five star as is hoped. The technic was a dry massage technic in which I had requested deep tissue and high pressure. I was 20 minutes late getting in to my scheduled massage and then they forgot about me. I continued to I’ve the benefit of the doubt. My therapist did not speak English and communication barrier was frustrating. I tried to relax and enjoy the deep tissue massage but my skin was rubbed raw from it being dry, I had to cut my massage short because it was so behind to begin with and I needed to leave with my boyfriend who waited a half hr already.
My reason for the 2 stars is had I not been left with purple bruises all over my shoulders the place had potential and the pricing was competitive. I was highly disappointed and left in more pain than I’d arrived. I’d hoped for a discount but was not offered one. If you like that style massage and dry then be my guest. Everyone tried to give good customer service it just wasn’t there.

A five star massage in beautiful surroundings. Relaxing time of full body massage that makes you renewed and revitalized.
I have this spot bookmarked and will return for another excellent massage.

$ 50 for 70 minutes of solid bodywork? How can you go wrong?
Well, at many places — you can go wrong. I’ve had numerous massages where knots are left in the most inopportune locations or where the masseuse failed to heed my instructions that I like deep tissue, but my experience with Jasmin was none of the above.
The front desk lady was short and efficient ($ 1 extra charge if you want to use your credit card), but the overall place was clean. I did find it interesting that they have to post a sign in each of their rooms announcing that they «do NOT perform illegal activities» at the establishment (I guess a few of the patrons must have tried to get frisky?) but overall my experience was great.
The massage was definitely deep tissue (Jasmin did periodically ask if I needed less pressure) with a mix of thai stretching. Overall, I am a big fan of Jasmin and definitely intend to make this my «go-​to» in Fremont.
