Unocal 76 Self Service

Our other local gas station. When I don’t want to wait in the long lines at the Arco across the street or pay cash or just running on fumes too far to make it to Costco, I go to this location instead of the Chevron across the street because it’s cheaper and nobody is here.
If you just want gas fast during the day and use credit card this place works just fine. Wouldn’t suggest doing anything else.
On the downside, It’s dimly lit at night, no food store and pumps are down more often than normal. Pumps are older looking. So looks shabby compared to the glitzy neighbors with tv’s on each pump and bright led lights. But as long as it’s cheaper than Chevron and my credit card bonus makes it cheaper than using cash at Arco, it’s still a viable choice for my commute.

Very rude station agent. Pumps always out of order. Asked to use air, and because we didn’t purchase gas he wanted to charge us. Legal, but incredibly petty. There are too many gas stations the the area to deal with poor customer service.

I used to wonder why there aren’t many cars pumping gas here but found out pretty soon. One or more of each set of pumps is always «out of service» The cashier is very unfriendly, don’t even know if she speaks English. Once I went up to pay b/​c the pump’s Card reader wasn’t working, she was sewing her old socks lol Another time she was more interested in reading her newspaper and acted as if I was bothering her. Have yet to see a car use thier Car wash in past 3 years.

I don’t how this place stays in business because I never see cars at this location. Plus they don’t have any snacks or drinks. What happens if you are thirsty?
This is a morning stop if I don’t stop at my favorite Alameda Chevron.

They are charging for water and air. It is ILLEGAL in CA.

Came here with a friend today and it was nice. Very clean, and it wasn’t busy at all.

I love how it’s hardly busy, I never have to wait for a pump!:)
