Turquoise Shop

I had the great pleasure of discovering this place yesterday! Niles is a very sleepy town full of antique shops (read: mostly other people’s dusty junk). I think The Florence biker bar and The Turquoise Shop are the gems of the entire block! The Turquoise Shop is a quaint old house that has been turned into a store — the different rooms house everything from beaded bracelets and intricate turquoise jewelry to dream catchers and and an incredible breastplate! There were even bunches of fragrant sage to purchase. Everything is authentic — made by Native American tribes that the owner, Donald, has working relationships with. He was so informative, knowing which tribe each individual piece came from. And, I wanted to take all of it home! I will definitely be back :)

The owner of this place is disgusting. My family and I shopped here for over 5 years. After agreeing to perform a repair on a new bracelet that was priced at over $ 400, my mother went to pick it up and he called her a disgusting name that I cannot even type here and stomped away. Do not give this awful person your business.
