I got my hair color change from Teresa Reagor at the new salon she works at Sunita’s beauty Salon in Fremont, and omg beautiful ambiance and a wonderful happy day for me.
I’m a hairstylist too, but wanted a huge change and wanted to feel like a client not a stylist.
Teresa did just that!
I loved my day, and this was my birthday present and I couldn’t of asked for more. Thank you so much Teresa.

Decided to update my review after today’s visit. Today’s visit with Teresa was fantastic. I got color, cut and a new treatment that I want to say it called the Bad Hair Cure. She told me about it and that she had time to add it onto my service today. I decided to go ahead and get it done. I am very happy that I did. My hair is super soft and looks amazing. Whenever I go to Teresa she has a new idea to freshen up my hair and when I get color done, we never do the same thing twice. I love that she loves color and doing new things. She is always excited to use a different or new technique. I love it. I have been going to her for quite a while now. I was trying to figure it out today how long she has been doing my hair and couldn’t. I always leave loving my hair and feeling great about how it looks.

Teresa helped me go from blonde to a wonderful Red! I was very impressed with the whole experience! I really liked how she would explain everything she was doing and what she was going to do. I totally dug that there was no mirrors so I wasn’t judging (my hair and how fat my thighs looks when I sit) the entire time and made the «reveal» that much better! Hands down, will go here again. Loved the hair colour, the hair cut and the experience.
Random but notable for me … I dug that she let me zone out on trashy mags while she did my hair (not that it seems like she wouldn’t be talkative if I had wanted).
Totally going back!

I can’t possible say enough nice things about Teresa but I will try.
I called to ask if she could help me slowly stop coloring my hair while letting my natural gray grow out without it looking too obvious. I had gone to two other salons and they both told me they didn’t know how to do it. I had researched it enough on the internet so I knew what to listen for. Teresa said exactly what I had hoped to hear. She scheduled a consultation to evaluate the condition of my hair and to discuss the transformation.
I came in for the consult and just loved her salon. It’s small, clean, pretty and best of all she had her dog, Rogue with her. Rogue is just beautiful and an incredibly well behaved dog. To the reviewer who was upset that the dog threw up… it happens.
Teresa examined my hair and asked me how often I had colored it, what processes had been done in the last year, my shampoo schedule, what sort of tools/​brushes I used on my hair. She was very, very thorough.
I have naturally dark hair, had bleached it blonde for about 2 years and recently went back to dark hair. While I enjoyed the dark, I did not enjoy how fast the roots showed. And how obvious it was. Teresa asked if I would be comfortable with a reddish, strawberry color. And if I would be comfortable cutting off some length. It’s going to be a long process letting the natural gray grow in and having shorter hair will make it go a tad faster. They were her suggestions but at no time did she push her ideas on me. She asked how I felt about everything and really wanted my opinion as much as I wanted hers. She cut a bit of hair out to do a strand test to see how it would hold up under bleach and if it would get to the desired color. She explained when she would do it, when she would call me and when I could come look at it. She did everything she said she would. I came in and fell in love with the color. She encouraged me to take it home, hold it up to my hair in a mirror, show my husband and get used to the idea of a total change before scheduling an appointment. At no time did she push me to make an appointment. She suggested moisturising treatments and gave me a nice lesson in PH and what hair needs what PH. She did not try to sell me anything.
My appointment was Wednesday. It was just me, Teresa and Rogue.
First she washed, cut and dried my hair. Then she lightened my hair, highlighted and low-​lighted and finally colored my hair. This whole process took quite a few hours and they really flew by. She was so concerned for my comfort. She turned on the a/​c and asked if the temp was ok. She turned on some music and it was such fun, upbeat music, I loved it. She was concerned about my thirst and offered me tea, coffee, hot chocolate and I am just a water drinker. She made sure my cup was always full. She was concerned that I might be getting hungry and she has snacks for customers. At one point I had to spend some time with my head in the bowl while some foils were removed and others were still processing. She was so concerned for my comfort. I used the restroom which is darling and she has a box of complementary feminine hygiene products. She has gone so far out of her way to make sure all of her customers are taken care of. Also… when I did use the restroom she would always pin up my drape to make sure it wasn’t in the way. When she washed my hair the water temp was always perfect and she gave such a wonderful massaging hair wash. Having foils in for a long time can make she scalp sore, but she massaged so perfectly that it always felt so much better. She frequently stopped and asked me if I needed to get up and stretch and made sure while I was processing in the bowl that I was comfortable.
Conversation with her was so easy. We talked about growing up in Fremont, our family, husbands, children, our pets and so much more. Nothing felt forced it was just nice easy conversation. And there were quiet times too and they did not feel like uncomfortable silences.
I chose not to see the cut and color until it was all done. When the color was complete she went back over the cut, styled it and thinned out some more. Finally it was time to see my hair makeover. Oh. My. It is SO beautiful. It’s red, but with so many highlights and lowlights. If you didn’t know me you would think it was natural, just like natural hair has so many different shades in it so does mine. The cut is absolutely darling. I love it. My husband loves it. My in-​laws love it. I posted a pic on facebook and have got nothing but rave reviews.
I may hold off on the process of growing out the gray, just to enjoy this red for awhile.
Teresa is well educated in color and I believe it to be her nature to be such an incredibly warm, sweet person. She is so talented and I recommend everyone go see her. Men and women. Teresa is absolutely amazing! A while back I got my sides shaved and had my hair long in the front like the rihanna cut. Well I rocked it for about a year then i got sick of it and wanted to go back to my long hair. My hair was in such an awkward stage that no matter what I did wit it it just didn’t look good. I bought a wig that just looked fake and thing itched like crazy! so after letting my sides grow out a lot I went to Teresa to see what she could possibly do whether it was a weave or whatever I just said please do something with this horrible hair.
So surely enough she said we can use these things called micro rings i believe. It’s pretty much like a weave for white girls but wayyy less damaging to your hair! NO GLUE NO NOTHING BUT PUTTING A RING ON THIS PIECE OF HAIR AND CLAMPING IT TO YOUR REAL HAIR!
Oh my gosh it was absolutely phenomenal and I was back to my long hair in a matter of hours. After about a month my head started to get ichy because your real hair grows out and i had 250 pieces in my hair so it was weighing down so I’m like Teresa girl can you give me a bob and take the whole rings in the back of my hair out. She absolutely did and gave me an amazing bob and I only have like 30 pieces in my hair now.
This lady really knows her hair. I had a horrible experience dying my hair bleach blonde that the lady i DID have made me have gray blue hair it was absolutely horrendous! I cried for days! So i figured since Teresa did an amazing job with the hair extensions she will b great with color. Surely enough i got the courage to to get my hair bleach blonde again. IT TURNED OUT BEAUTIFUL! I LOVE IT SO MUCH! So I can definitely say i found my hair stylist for life now and I’m very happy about it && if i was aloud to give Teresa 20 stars I would but it only allows 5 boo!

Teresa is amazing! I haven’t been here in a while but I remember being very happy with my blonde hair. I have naturally thick, black hair and Teresa was able to turn it into an ash blonde. Being 7 months pregnant, I haven’t been able to bleach my hair but I will keep her in mind after my baby is born and I am out of the woods :-).

I was looking for a hair dresser in the Fremont area that could work with my hair color and my extensions. I struck GOLD when I found Teresa at Studio 728.
Teresa greeted me warmly when I entered her shop and we talked about what I wanted to do with my hair. Teresa listened to my hair needs and explained everything she was going to do. Teresa was very knowledgable about hair, hair extension and color and I highly recommending her!!! Absolutely!!!
Teresa has a beautiful and very clean shop in the Irvington area of Fremont. I am so glad I found such a wonderful lady to trust my hair extensions and color too.
I have long hair extensions attached to my own hair by little rings. I researched this method and found that it is the least damaging to my own hair which is very important to me!!! Teresa uses this method with the little rings. I was also delighted to read the wonderful reviews she already had and that prompted me to try her. I am so glad I did because I loved my hair when she finished.
At the end of my first visit, I was amazed how beautiful my hair looked and felt. Teresa washed, conditioned and blew out my hair and it truly NEVER, EVER look better than when she was done with it. My hair was amazing. I now have a hairdresser for life with Teresa! I like that Teresa cared about the condition of my hair. She has a forever costumer in me.
Definately call her if you want beautiful hair. She is your gal!!! i

Update number 4!!! Crazy, right? Yeah I know. but so long as I am more than happy with my hair and Teresa’s service I will keep updating so that everyone on Unilocal knows just how wonderful she is. I am partially updating my review because I am shocked at the 2 one star reviews she has. There has to be some kind of misunderstanding or possibly they just aren’t willing enough to allow her time to rectify whatever they may be dissatisfied with.
Ever since Teresa took my naturally dark brown hair to platinum blonde and back to a dark color I have continued to change the color everytime I go back in which is every 2 to 3 months. So my hair has been processed A LOT since January of this year. In January I was platinum blonde and I stayed that way for a little while with pink chunky highlights, then I went to a chocolate brown with blonde highlights, and now a dark almost black brown color with a purple/​plum tone to it and still keeping the blonde highlights. As expected the part of my hair that had been processed the most with platinum blonde experienced some drying and breaking, that is normal for hair that has been that processed but my hair was in no way burned or over processed. Teresa gave me complimentary deep conditioning treatments and in addition to that I went out and purchased the Moroccan Oil shampoo and conditioner and the reconstructing hair mask. Being my hair is colored regularly I have a regular process of deep conditioning the dry parts of my hair once a week, using a moisturizing shampoo and conditioner, and the Moroccan Oil before blow drying my hair. I only wash my hair every 3 days so that it can retain some of its natural oils. At this point you’d never tell my hair had been colored so much and that is in part to Teresa’s awesome skills and my own personal up keep.
With that said everytime I leave the salon I love my hair more and more, and I always get compliments on how good my hair looks. I would have never colored my hair this much (I had virgin hair when I went to Teresa and when I did color my hair in the past I did it myself I never paid someone because I never trusted anyone enough). I have been going to Teresa for over 2 years now and I don’t regret a single visit to her.
Seriously people if you are ever unsatisfied with anything just give her an opportunity to fix it, she will fix it! And please remember she runs a very small salon, she doesn’t answer the phone while with clients and will return calls as soon as she can. Because she does run such a small, personal business if she is out for any reason whether it be one of her teaching seminars or a personal emergency the shop will be closed and and you most likely will not get a phone call until she returns. Keep that in mind.

Thank you for your comments, Teresa. However, your call was one week later after my posting on Unilocal on Monday morning. That being said if you would have called me instead of writing an update to my comments then we could have worked it out. I did understand the process and did listen to you. and that is why I called back to give you an opportunity to tone it down. My complaint is that you didn’t return my call in a timely manner and now responding after these reviews. I wish you the best and hopefully for both of us lessons have been learned.

Teresa has done my hair for years and only recently have I stopping seeing her (because of financial reasons).
I always received great service and awesome looking hair. She has a lot of talent that I am sad to say i can no longer afford.
My advice: Trust her with your hair and you won’t be let down! If you can afford her services you won’t be disappointed.
Way to go Teresa and keep making all of us beautiful

I had my hair cut, thinned and layered by Jacquelyne P about a week and a ½ ago. She did a wonderful job and asked me questions about my style and products I use. She was very attentive to what I was looking for. Thanks Jac! The feel of the shop was very comfortable and homey and relaxing!

Had my hair done at Studio 728 by jacquelyne and all I can say is WOW what a beautiful job she did, it’s nice to leave a salon happy for a change and jac your the best.

Went to Teresa a couple of months ago for a color and trim. She processed my hair too long and burnt my hair off right along the hair line and didnt even notice until I got home. (let me explain why I didn’t notice) I was trying to grow my already short hair out so I told her I didn’t want to cut too much off. So what did she do? She used shearing scissors, and cut the bulk of my hair out and to try to cover up the burnt strand of hair that was burnt off and that was it. There wasn’t any use of regular scissors. To make a long story longer. It was the WORST hair cut ever. I was there waaaay too long and is over priced. I really wanted to like her and also to finally end my search of finding a good stylist… but no luck here.

I went to see Theresa for the first time last week… I been looking for a good hair stylist to be my regular but had yet to find someone that got what I wanted or was able to deliver it. Every stylist I tried would disappoint me and I was skeptical about trying yet another new salon. But based on the great reviews and after reviewing her website which made her seem very knowledgeable and professional, I decided to try.
I have to tell you I have never met anyone like Theresa, she is AWESOME!!! I have very fine hair and been trying to get a «A» line Bob type of cut, but no one was able to give the PERFECT CUT like she did, the cut she gave actually made it look like I have more volume, more hair without me spending an hour round brushing my hair, it’s amazing, I love to style my hair now cause it just comes out like I want it now and the bob looks awesome. for those people with fine hair you can relate how hard this is, it’s like a miracle.
Another thing that really impressed me is that the time I scheduled was the time she took me in, there aren’t a bunch of people in the salon waiting for their turn and she is not running behind like normal salons, it’s very personal and on time service which is great. Also if her phone rings SHE DOESNT ANSWER IT when she is with a client even when there is no assistant there to answer she lets it ring and go to VM, who does that? that is awesome, I hated when other stylists almost break their necks to be cutting my hair and holding the phone and talking at the same time, I always hated that, I think they can’t possibly be paying attention to my cut. Theresa doesn’t do that, you get her full attention and it’s a very quiet, intimate and relaxing experience. I got an awesome cut that I been trying to get for a long time, many stylists failed, Theresa got it perfect the first time, even working with fixing what was messed up from previous stylist.
I go back to her in April for Highlights touch up so I will keep you posted on the color experience, but I feel very confident as she seems VERY knowledgeable about style and color. I am so HAPPY I found her!!!

I went here about 7 months ago and absolutely loved the haircut Theresa gave me. She totally makes her client feel comfortable and does an amazing job. The money I spent was totally worth it and she is the only person I would trust cutting my hair now

This is the most expensive haircut I’ve ever gotten… which says nothing about Studio 728 and everything about me. Her price list is on her website though, which I love.
This is also the best haircut I’ve ever gotten. The studio is SO cute, Teresa is really nice, and did I mention my hair? Yeah… my hair is the bomb. I know what you’re thinking, but I’m not trying to be modest because my haircut is nothing to be modest about.
She did exactly what I asked for which is always a thing of beauty in a stylist. …and there was a DOG there! A cute wonderful sweetheart of a dog. I like dogs.
My hair has a mind of its own, so I’ll bet it’s as happy with it’s ability to move as I am. OK… this is a little pervy, but I can’t stop touching it.

My daughter and I went to the salon on 12÷18÷07. My 7 year old daughter had blue and purple highlights put in her hair. The end product was great. The colors are so bright and rich on her black hair. Theresa not only did a great job, but she was so nice to my daughter. She explains everything that she is going to do and answers all your questions. As for me, I had red and blond highlight w/​a jet black base color. My hair turned out just the way I wanted it. I have been to many salons and paid more money, but never had my hair turn out the way I wanted it until now. I also got a haircut and I love the way my bangs turned out. If anybody needs a new stylist, Theresa is the person to see.

A weight has been lifted off my shoulders – no really. I feel so relieved to have finally found a stylist who knows what she’s doing, knows exactly what I want and gives me just that. Okay I lied, she gives me more than great hair, but awesome service as well. This is something that I have never experienced before. I loved how small the space was and how Teresa is the only stylist as well as the owner of the salon.
From the moment I got there, I felt very at ease with the normal nervousness that anyone experiences with a new stylist. Somehow it was the calming environment that put me at ease and her friendly dog. I had my hair cut previously at another salon in SF and came out with horrible hair that I thought couldn’t be fixed, but thanks to a co-​workers reccomendation (having her hair fixed from a botched job as well) I felt confident Teresa could turn my hair up side down. I clearly told her what happened, what I was trying to achieve, and the problems my hair was causing me due to how it was cut. She then responded with a solution and pointed out why my hair was looking the way it was and what she was going to do to fix it. She was very thourough throughout the whole process and the products she uses are the very best (oh as if sniff my hair.mmm.).
I really appreciated how she gave me and my hair the uttmost attention and explained everything she was doing and what can happen it is done wrong. She wasn’t even done with my hair and I could see how great it started to look as it was coming along… I’ve never seen that at any time I’ve gotten my hair cut – it’s always that feeling of wondering «where is this REALLY going?» and then disaster strikes! nope not this time. I didn’t even have to have her re-​touch a spot here or there, it was absolutely perfect! I can swear she was right on point with every detail on what I wanted to achieve.
This was without a doubt the best «salon» experience I have ever had. Not only was it the results, but how comfortable she made me feel (oh the hot tea she gave me too), the styling tips she offered and her shear knowledge of the products and techniques she used. I can really tell she cares about her clients satisfaction. In no way did I feel rushed at any point. I didn’t have to worry about any un neccessary chit chat with another stylist or any intimidation coming to the salon. I will most definitely be a returning client, I can’t wait till I go back already! Go do yourself a favor and go see Teresa, you will not be disappointed. This place is GREAT!!! I’ve been looking around for a good place to get a hair cut and I LOVE Theresa!
The place is super cute and relaxing. It’s very clean and cute, not to mention that Theresa and Corrina were super nice. They made sure I was comfortable while i was waiting and they made me feel right at home.
first off she asked me if i was looking for something new or just a trim. I told her i wanted something completely different than my current haircut (lifeless and long), so she gave me a wash, cut, blow dry and style and was very meticulous about how i looked. she really spent time on making me comfortable and super friendly! she knew exactly what i wanted and made suggestions that totally complimented my face shape.
Theresa made sure i knew what was going on and how to style my hair at home. it’s the first time i haven’t gotten the annoying remark of «wow! your hair is really thick and wavy, guess you wanna do away with that right?» she really works with your hair to make it look good.
needless to say i came out feeling GREAT!!! what’s even better is that there’s a point system so you can earn hair cuts and other services. pretty spiffy i must say.
