Recently i had an appointment with dr Motamed, but he didnt even come to see me and instead he just sent his assistant to see me. If I’m choosing you as a doctor i expect to discuss my problems with you not your assistant. Its just disappointing. you pay a lot to these doctors, but they dont even wanna see you.

I recently saw Dr. Motamed for a torn meniscus. I had gone to him a few years ago for the same problem in my other knee, and this time after an experience elsewhere, I came back in pain and he kindly examined me. I am so glad I saw him! After my consultation and options he laid out, I decided on surgery and it was the best decision. It’s been a couple of months now and I can’t say enough about how happy I am that I had the surgery. My knee is so much better. He’s the best — so knowledgeable and skilled! And even my physical therapist commented on how well his patients do post-​surgery. That says a lot because they see patients from several doctors. I highly recommend Dr Motamed.

Dr. Soheil Motamed is exactly what you want in an orthopedic surgeon — talented, intelligent, efficient and friendly. When you meet him, it’s instantly clear he’s extremely competent and takes great pride in his profession. I was treated by him for a meniscectomy, and was in and out in less 45 minutes. I can’t say enough good things about him — if you want to know more, happy to be a reference any day of the week and twice on Sunday.

DR motamed is very friendly. usually you search around for surgeons before you pick which one you want to do your procedure. when i met DR Motamed i knew instantly that i would want him taking care of my knee. i had a partial meniscectomy in my right knee on wednesday (7÷16÷14) im only 23 years old so i have years left of sports ahead of me it might be a lil to early to tell as its only been 4 days removed but i havnt had any pain or excessive bleeding in my knee whatsoever (havnt taken any pain pills since the surgery) i love how my knee is feeling so far and i will update this post once i am fully healed and i do believe i will be fully healed! My mother saw Dr. Motamed for her torn meniscus. She was hesitant about having surgery to repair the tear, but now she is extremely pleased that she did. She says that her recovery has been better than she imagined. In just a few weeks, she is pain free & her knee feels better than it’s felt in a very long time.
Dr. Motamed & staff are friendly and courteous. He has proven to be a very skilled surgeon. My mom says she would gladly recommend him to friends and family.

I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Motamed as a result of year long persistent knee pain. He was friendly, kind, generous with his time as he explained the possible reasons for the pain. I was then referred for an MRI at another facility. When the results came back to his office that indicated two heavy duty tears of the meniscus, Dr. Motamed again was thorough in explaining his corrective knee surgery procedure. And I’m glad to report that surgery was a breese and recovery has been going great. I know I will have full range of motion and strength again and be able to run and play basketball just like before. Dr. Motamed and all his office assistants run a very professional practice that gives you a sense of security and well being. My experience could not have been any better. VERY highly recommended!

I went in to Dr. Motamed after my shoulder started to frequently dislocate. He promptly examined me and scheduled an MRI. The results found I had a torn labrum. I underwent surgery on November 7,2012. So far the results have been fantastic. I’m now going through physical therapy and it seems as though I will not have the shoulder dislocation issue again. The staff at Mission Peak is AWESOME! I am always greeted warmly and I always leave with a goodbye from the staff.
I came to my appointment about 30 minutes early today, and I expected to wait until my scheduled time to be seen but Dr. Motamed saw that I was waiting and took me in within 3 minutes of me arriving.
I really don’t know what the other reviewers are talking about when they say they had a bad experience. I am epileptic and I am frequently visiting various Doctor’s offices and I genuinely believe this has been my best experience thus far.

I saw Dr. Motamed about a shoulder problem that in the end required surgery.
Regarding reviews on the web, I’m not interested in other’s opinions unless they are professionals. For example, what on earth do someone’s insurance problems have to do with Dr. Motamed’s qualifications as a surgeon? To be sure, appropriate customer interaction, for MDs called «bedside manners» are part of medical professionalism, but when I go see a surgeon I am looking for medical professional excellence, and Dr. Motamed was recommended to me by my family Dr. as someone of the highest caliber.
Dr. Motamed examined my case, explained what it might be and therefore why he needs which additional diagnostic before he can make a recommendation. I had those tests done, and at our next appointment he explained what he found, how it manifests itself on the x-​ray and the MRI, and what other possibilities can be excluded and why. Based on those findings he recommended a surgical follow on and outlined concisely what was involved.
He did the surgery itself with such dexterity and precision I had no discomfort despite a reasonably sizeable incision and I rarely healed so fast. He systematically followed post-​surgery developments till he shook my hand and said: «we’re done, you’re good to go».
Throughout, his mannerism was typical of an all-​round top medical professional with a sovereign mastery of his field. And when it comes down to a correct diagnosis, down to hours of scalpel and total anesthetics, it’s that professional excellence that I prefer above all else.

Dr. Soheil Motamed is a great surgeon. Truly dedicated to his art and science.
I’m a very serious, but old, amateur athlete that has been pretty lucky with health. The last few years chronic ski and golf injuries to my shoulder and elbow really set me back. In both instances the source of my pain was not easily determined but Dr. Motamed, who is very experienced in athletic performance and injuries, worked directly with me and my personal Radiologist to find the right treatments and solutions. Two surgeries later and I’m back in the game with my quality of life restored. Thanks Dr. Motamed!
My elbow and shoulder surgeries went perfectly at Fremont Surgical Center and my pain level was minimal. In some ways both injuries felt better the day after surgery because they were fixed!

Save yourself from headaches by NOT going to
Dr Motamed. He is too busy to take you into
consideration-​particularly if he is not going to do
your procedure. The office staff is clueless in
dealing with insurance companies. Never have
I had so many problems for 2 appointments and an MRI.
