Scrubb-A-Dub-Dub Cleaning Service!

So grateful to be able to count on Sophia and team for a clean house. For 2 years, service has been reliable and thorough. I highly recommend this Fremont-​based cleaning service. Support local small business with your wallets, guys.

Needed a rental house cleaned ASAP! Called several services, but Sophia answered the phone herself! Came the next morning and did an amazing job! I am extremely happy about their service and reasonable prices! Happy to recommend them!

Had three other cleaning services come in to estimate since I did not want to unfairly rate this service. The hope was to upgrade my review. After three quotes at one-​half the price charged. I was a little taken back. Tried a service. Cleanliness the same and no pressure to pay ahead of time. Also cleaner said inspect and pay tomorrow. We paid after service and received call asking if there were any touch up needed. Reminder this was at half of price, no blank stares, and no demand to pay ahead of time.

I needed a cleaning service that was going to use only my cleaning materials, clean with green cleaning supplies and be very particular. My husband thought I would never find a cleaning service that addressed all my needs. I agreed with him but after meeting Sophia I realized that I didn’t have to compromise! She didn’t think I was crazy and listened to all my needs and she and her team has met them consistently for every cleaning over the past couple of years. They make our home look amazing and by only working with a green cleaning solution. I am very delayed in writing this review but if you need somebody that will really listen and cater to your cleaning needs then please give Sophia and her well-​trained staff a call. As an added bonus she is an awesome person and super friendly!

Never showed up!!! We called and made an appt. for them to come and clean the day before a big special event at my house. They called the day before to confirm and we waited but they never showed and there was no phone call to say sorry. My wife and I ended up cleaning all day instead of doing everything else we needed to do for the party. I would not recommend them.

I called them looking to have some serious dusting and mopping done before a weekend party. They came over for a little less than 2.5 hours (3pm to 5:20pm) with 2 people and one supervisor (Sophia). At $ 65/​hr, I was expecting professional work.
All bathrooms in the house were recently (1 week prior) remodeled so bathroom cleaning was very light. Kitchen appliances also are new so no heavy work there. I specifically asked Sophia to have them focus on the mopping, vacuuming, and dusting in the common areas. After they were done, I had to point out spots on the floor that were still dusty. The mopping they did was very light — I didn’t even notice the floors to be wet at any point during their cleaning. I also pulled down cob webs (well within my reach) and pointed out areas that were covered in pretty heavy dust.
The absolute worst was when I walked into the bedroom and found the dirty bathroom floor mats on our bed. Really WTF?! Who puts dirty bathroom floor mats on someones bed? I mentioned that to Sophia and she simply said «oh, I’ll mention it to them…»
In the end I had to go over much of their work myself. They were a complete waste of my time and money. To make things worse in the end, Sophia, when calculating the cost of the work, rounded the 2 hours and 20 minutes up to a little more than 2 and a half hours so that she could bill me $ 165 ($ 65/​hr).
Whatever. They can take my money just this one time but never again. And this review is to help prevent others from making my mistake.

Sophia and her crew came by last minute on a Saturday and whipped our house into shape. She cleaned our bathrooms, our kitchen, bedroom walls, vacuumed, got the spider webs and basically did everything we haven’t cleaned in a few months, in just a few hours. Her rates are reasonable and worth the work that she and crew does. We were lucky to find a service that does one-​time only jobs and will definitely use her service again when needed. Highly recommend.

I recently attended a family function at my in-​laws in Fremont. I couldn’t believe the difference. What had changed? They started getting regular service from Scrubb-​a-​dub-​dub several months ago. They come in weekly and their house, which always made me feel vaguely uncomfortable, is now cleaner than mine! I’d have them post a review themselves if they could operate a computer but I was so impressed with the difference I felt like somebody had too! I have never seen seen their home not only this tidy but CLEAN. Good job.

We moved to a new house recently and got the move-​in cleaning. I was told it would be per hour for move in clean so I expected around 3 to 4 crew coming and do the job. I was surprised to see Sophia and only one helper showed up to clean the house. It took them 5 hours to clean the house and at the end I was not satisfied with the cleaning job which generally is a 2 to 3 hour job for 3 people. Since I agreed for hourly then I had to pay a big bill for cleaning. I was happy that they used sanitizing wipes and disinfected the whole place but since it was a 2 member crew the cleaning was not upto a professional standard. There were some parts of the refrigerator that were left out. Overall Iam not impressed but only consolation was they disinfected the whole house by using disinfectant wipes.

6 stars if possible. I am a landlord whose tenant just moved out and I needed a quick clean to get the next tenant in as soon as possible. I called Scrub-​A-​Dub-​Dub Cleaning and Sophia was willing to come in THE NEXT business day. I did not know what to expect since I have never hired a maid service before but I wasn’t expecting much given the condition of my apartment. I had mold on the windows, dirty doors, filthy bathroom, etc. Sophia from Scrub a Dub was prompt and on time for our scheduled meeting. I let Sophia and her assistant go to work and came back in a couple of hours. WOW. I did not expect all of the mold to be off the windows, the cobwebs off of the fan, sparkling clean bathroom and kitchen, spotless windows, appliances, and carpet, the list goes on. These ladies pay really close attention to detail and are worth every single penny. They were even courteous enough to wear shoe covers since I just had the carpet shampooed. They offer very competitive rates especially considering it would have taken me 5 times as long in addition to buying cleaning products to do the same job. Keep up the great work Sophia and staff I will be calling upon your services again very soon!

A friend referred me to this cleaning service about six months ago, and I’ve been very pleased so far. I shopped around for a while before choosing this service, and ultimately I found their prices to be very reasonable given the large size of my home. In fact, compared to the «big» chain housecleaners like Merry Maids, The Maids, etc., Scrubb-a-Dub-Dub’s prices were quite a bit lower. They are very reliable, professional, and most importantly do an excellent job of cleaning my house.
