Yesterday was my first time going to Dr. Kramer for my annual exam. Everything went very well, I liked that he talks with the patients about any concerns and problems. The office is very nice and clean also. Overall, my experience went great and I will continue my women’s health with him. Thank you.

I chose Dr. Kramer from his 5-​star Unilocal review and I totally get why he has such a high rating. During my first appointment he was very helpful and informative. I always thought a male OBGYN might be weird, but he made me feel perfectly comfortable. After my appointment I received a handwritten message from him — he definitely makes his patients feel cared for.

Read so many other great reviews and knew I had to come see him. Had my first visit with Doctor Kramer today and all I can say is WOW! Awesome and very professional doctor, friendly staff and comfortable atmosphere. I was in and out quickly but did not at all feel like I was in a factory line. He took the time to address my questions and I really appreciated how he made me feel calm and spoke to me throughout my appointment (I’m a rather fidgety patient, especially when it comes to Gyno appointments). Totally worth the 47 mile drive. Will be using him from now on. Thanks!

Since moving to the Bay area about a year and a half ago, I came across Dr. Kramer and all of the wonderful reviews. It’s always hard to find new doctors when you move, however after meeting with Dr. Kramer once, I knew what everyone was talking about. He works to specialize his care for me and ensure that he is addressing all types of questions or concerns. Although I don’t live nearby his office, my experiences with him over the past year and a half have been very personable and willing to listen to all of my concerns. His online system also serves as a useful tool for quick communication.

Dr Kramer and his staff are wonderful! They are always punctual, professional, and accomodating. Dr Kramer takes the time to listen to your concerns and thoroughly answers all questions; he never makes the appointment feel rushed. I have had a couple different gyn docs before I found Dr Kramer, but he is by far the best!

Dr. Kramer is simply the best. He takes time to listen to your problem as well as explains the issues. I would surely recommend him. The staff at his clinic is also pretty good and friendly.

Why do I drive for 45 min to see Dr. Kramer?
— Because he was the only surgeon who said he could (and did) remove my cyst laproscopically after being told that I had to have an open surgery.
— The fact that he left Washington womens health group because he was being pressured for spending too much time with his patients.
— He refered me to an oncologist for my second cyst saying he didn’t think I had tumor but wanted me to be in the best hand just in case.
Just feel so blessed to have found dr. Kramer as well as dr. Lin. I’ve referred many of my friends to him and they were all happy with him.

In my experience most doctors don’t apologizes for running behind since it is such a common practice these days. Not Dr. Kramer, because of a mistaking in booking appointments he was running a little behind. Since this was my 1^st visit, and I’m use to doctors getting over booked. I thought nothing of it when the staff informed me that he is running a little late. In fact I told them I have nothing until 2pm so I’m in no hurry. When I meet Dr. Kramer he apologized multiply times for being late. He seemed genuinely concerned about keeping me waiting. As for the visit itself he was very informative, kind, and caring about my needs. This is a 1^st for me, and I look forward to future visits were I’m sure Dr. Kramer will not be late :-)

Dr. Scott Kramer, is an amazing caring doctor. I have been a patient for years. In the beginning, I was hesitant about seeing a male Gyno, but Dr. Kramer puts you at ease. He is very easy going, exudes a sense of calm and reassurance.
I was originally seeing another gyno while living away from home for college when she had recommended surgery. After graduating, I moved back to the area and looked for a gyno to complete the surgery, really not intending to get a second opinion.
After speaking and seeing Dr. Kramer, he recommended to «wait and see» as I was younger my own immune system would probably do some heavy lifting and things would resolve on their own. He mentioned surgery is more invasive and if it could be avoided we should. This sold me on Dr. Kramer. Here he had a patient who was set on getting surgery but he wasn’t interested in the possible financial gains and instead the patient care.
My immune system did the trick, no surgery need. I could have gotten a completely unnecessary surgery! I’ve moved away from the area and still drive back to see him =)

He is very professional and an amazing guy!

He is very friendly and knowledgeable. He gave me the time I need to ask all the questions I have and I got very precise and useful answers from him. He told me that he does not deliver babies anymore though.

I don’t usually write reviews, but I really wanted to share my experience with everyone, and let you know what an amazing doctor Scott Kramer is. A friend of mine, who is an OBGYN in a different state, recommended I see Dr. Kramer for a Hysterectomy due to some large Fibroids in my Uterus. I feel truly blessed and so very thankful that I was pointed in his direction! I’ve never had surgery before, so I was a little worried, and was also a bit concerned that he was a male, when I usually only see female doctors, but he honestly is the best doctor I’ve ever had! he is SUPER nice and has an awesome bedside manner. He spent a lot of time educating me on my options, as well as what I could expect in the future, so that I was able to make to best decision for myself. Dr. Kramer and his staff made the whole entire process of my LSH surgery so extremely easy. He did an excellent job, and my recovery was a breeze! The girls in his office are very nice and helpful. It’s very obvious to me why Dr. Kramer has such a great reputation. Several people asked me who was doing my surgery, and when I told them that Dr. Kramer was doing it, every single person had nothing but wonderful things to say about him! THANK YOU Dr. Kramer for taking such good care of me, and making me feel so cared for!

Was referred to Dr. Scott Kramer and I have to say I am glad I was! He made me feel real comfortable and he is nice, warm and easy to talk to. He has a really cool website and I even signed up for his newsletters. He said that everything on his website, he’s either read the literature or researched the information so he’s in agreement with before he post anything on it. Super cool because I already ordered a book on Amazon that he recommended. Can’t wait to read it! Office Visit was quick and scheduling appointments was easy breezy, the office availability fit my needs. All the front desk staff where very nice, awesome service all the way around!

When you are hopeless and miserable go visit Dr Kramer, trust me you come out smiling, he is direct, honest and smart. He is never in a rush and he never makes you feel like you are stupid and he is GOD. Courteous, gentle and always smiling.

Best GYN hands down! A listener, offers advice without it sounding like a scolding and excellent bedside manner. Have recommended him to my friends and one is forever grateful.

Absolutely horrible!!! Not sure how genuine the 5 star ratings are… are the front desk staff getting paid to put up fictitious ratings and reviews??? From my experience this morning, I certainly think that they do.
My first call was at 10:33 a. m this morning and the lady who answered the called (Sophia) began asking me questions as to why I was trying to make an appt with Dr. Kramer and what Insurance I carry. Fair enough questions. But when I said I needed to make an appt at the earliest for a recurring issue, she asked for my cell number (which I gave) and said she was having a system glitch and was unable to make appts so she would call me back. I said ok and hung up.
Waited for nearly 3 hours before making my second call at 1:17 p.m. This time Sophia sounded totally dazed. There was first of all no apology for not returning my call made earlier this morning. Anyways, we proceeded with the call and again she started off with the same question– why was I calling and I explained again. Then she asked for the following
1. My last name…(which by the way is a very simple 4 letter word… and I spelled it out for her, M as in Mother, A as in Apple… like you do with a 3 year old). And guess what, She still did not get it and kept making a mistake. It was like she was not paying attention or she just wasn’t interested.
2. Then she moved fwd without asking for my first name… which i thought was rather strange. She asked for my date of birth… which i gave.
3. Then she asked me what type of insurance I carry.
4. Finally she asked me for my first name… again a very simple one which I again spelled out for her as in the previous case and she got the alphabets all mixed up. I was beginning to loose my cool.
5. Then she asked me for my email id… and i said «my last name. first name @ .com. Just to test her, I asked her to spell out and repeat my email id… and she had got it all wrong… Gosh!!!
6. And the last straw came when she said «Dr. Kramer works on Mon, Tue and Thu from 10 – 5, when would you like to be seen?» So I said «today is Thu and I have already explained that I need to be seen at the earliest avl appt, .does he have any avl today?» For which she says «Dr. Kramer is on vacation and won’t be returning till Oct 19^th «!!!
That was it for me… I asked her «When I have stated the nature of my call quite a few times, was this not the information you needed to give a prospective patient at the very beginning rather than waste time collecting information which was anyways done so very shabbily??»
She then began giving me medical advice as to how I should go to ER if my issue was that serious. Wow!!! Talk about Inefficiency with a stinking attitude!
If this is the etiquette of your front desk staff/​receptionist/​appt makers, then good luck to you and to your practice Dr. Kramer.

Dr. Kramer is competent, excellent in OBGYN care, aside from his knowledge and expertise, he is very friendly and personable.

Looked on Unilocal for a gynecologist since I was not completely satisfied with the other doctor I saw in Fremont. Made my first appointment after looking at all the positive reviews and I am so glad I did!
The nurses in the office are very nice and they make you feel very comfortable. I came here for an annual check-​up and I left feeling happy that I found a great doctor. Nurse will take your vitals, etc. After the nurse is done with her part, Dr. Kramer meets with you alone to talk discuss any questions on concerns (I don’t know if this for new patients or all). It’s great because it helps you build a good rapport with the doctor. Dr. Kramer was very nice, knowledgable and gave me detailed answers to all my questions. He would explain everything so I can understand my body and health better. I definitely felt better about my health after talking to him. I normally don’t like annuals but mine was done before you know it and I didn’t feel uncomfortable at all.
I would definitely recommend Dr. Kramer to everyone.

I am horribly nervous when I go to doctor appointments, of any kind. My blood pressure sky rockets, I get sweaty palms, and I talk too much. Dr. Kramer is amazing and after just a couple minutes with him, my nerves started to calm down. Instead of talking to you in the exam room, like every other doctor I’ve been to, he talks to you in his office, much more personal that way. He keeps an open ear, really listens to what you have to say, and not only does he answer your questions — he explains things to you!
Once it was time for the actual exam, I wasn’t really nervous at all. I just wasn’t looking forward to the exam, as it’s always awkward and uncomfortable. NOT AT ALL! He was quick, gentle, and kind the whole time! Also, there was a female employee in the room for the entire exam part of the appointment. I **highly** recommend Dr. Kramer to anyone looking for a gynecologist!

I was looking on Unilocal for an OBGYN, because I really don’t know of any doctors, and I did not just want to go and see just anyone. I had read a few reviews about other women doctors on Unilocal,and many said that they were rushed in and out, and they felt like the providers could have missed something because they were so rushed. I too have experienced that before, and I hated that feeling when you just feel like they are ready to collect your money, but can care less about you as a person.
One thing that I think is important about healthcare is that you have relationship with your doctor and that you do not feel rushed especially if someone is going to see you naked and touch you.
Dr. Kramer is very nice. He is not creepy and won’t make you feel weird. Prior to the exam he takes you into his office and talks to you, and gets to know a little about your family history, health history etc. He does not rush you through the whole process. This meeting in the office may me feel less awkard about getting my pap smear. He was very attentive to my concerns and gave me a variety of information and options about my concerns.
During the exam, I was not uncomfortable because I had already gotten to know a little bit about the doctor. After reading the reviews from other Unilocalers and reading other OBGYNs reviews, I think the most important thing about finding a good doctor, good vet, good hairstylist, good anything is that you have to know they will not rush and push you out the door.
I knew going in that there would be a man doing my exam, but I having a good exam where someone takes their time is more important to me than the sex of the provider. Dr. Kramer did not make me feel uncomfortable.
I will have to say: incase you are making your online appointment, make sure that if you have problems doing so that you call the front desk. I think there is a bug in the software because when I tried to make my appointment it blocked me out 3 times. I had to call back and leave a message and then they called me back.
