I have a plethora of spinal injuries and recently plantar fasciitis and have been disabled since 1992.
Peak Performance employees all help me to move more plus reduce my pain. They all try to restore my functions. They are definitely the best team highly trained and educated. They have improved the quality of my life and I would like to thank each and everyone of them:

I am very excited to write this review for Peak Performance and its staff, because that’s how I found them. I came here with tendinitis from prolonged use of mouse (wrist, forearm, shoulder and neck pain). I wasn’t able to turn a door knob and was in pain even when I was not moving. My doctor referred me to do 12 sessions of physical therapy. I was a little skeptical at first because I had been to chiropractors and acupuncturist, but not physical therapist. I thought it would be a waste of my time, but I was wrong. My visits to Peak Performance turned out to be a life changing experience for me.
Not only I am all good and running again, but Alan and his team helped me to avoid muscle strain in the long run. I had my initial assessment with Neeva and all my other physical therapies sessions with Alan. Alan showed genuine care and was very patient to my concerns. We focused on different areas to pinpoint the main cause. All exercises and treatments were effective. They had a big gym area for all treatments and exercises. I liked the vibe and felt comfortable there. I saw patients from easy to hard-​to-​treat and young to elderly. They accommodated everyone well and showed great knowledge. Sam, Stephanie, Tiffany and Pam (sorry, if I get your names wrong) were SUPER sweet and made my time there enjoyable. (I hope they will become a PT very soon! :D)
Monique at the front desk was also very friendly and helpful. I made all appointments ahead of time easily. She was also knowledgeable on insurance plans and details.
I love everyone I met at Peak Performance. Now I have a good posture, and I know how to strengthen my back muscle to support a good posture on my own. I can go back to my life being a workaholic but with a good body and mind.
A word of advice — Believe in the exercises and treatments they suggested. I repeat them at home every day between appointments, and will continue to do so.

Today was my 6^th and last visit to Peak Performance. Fantastic place to get physical therapy at. Everyone is friendly, caring and very good at what they do. I want to give special thanks to Alan, Jerome and all the staff who helped me.
I would recommend Peak Performance to anyone needing physical therapy.

Today was my last session, much thanks to team Peak Performance of PT Alan and Todd, and their team of Jason, Carol, Jo, Sam, etc. I started with barley able to brush my teeth due to my rotator cup surgery, the last two sessions I was able to full throw a ball painless. PT Alan worked my shoulder during the duration of my therapy. he twisted me, bend me, flip me to midseasaon form. The staff is also very knowledgable and very professional. Front office is also very kind and worked my scheduling needs. Hope they enjoy the egg tarts on my graduation day

I’m all sorts of broken. ACL. Torn. Achilles. Surgically repaired. Both times I did my physical therapy with the Peak Performance crew. I love these guys. Professionally, you can’t beat them. The staff takes the time to carefully evaluate your condition. Alan and Jerome pushed me to the point where I started making progress. I really appreciated that. They don’t baby you. Without them I don’t think I could get back to 100% Personally, I don’t think you could find a friendlier staff. I felt like I was on an episode of Cheers every time I came in. Every knows your name at Peak Performance. In the end, the entire staff genuinely wants you to get better and, if you ask me, that’s exactly what you want in a physical therapy team. Not that I want to get hurt again, but you kind of miss seeing the staff.

The Peak Performance team was everything I hope for while deciding to make the physical therapy commitment. Physical therapy really has to be a commitment by both the team and the patient to create a plan and follow through on the plan (while in the office and more importantly while outside the office). They made my time spent rehabbing quite enjoyable.
While I was doing research, prior to becoming a patient, I spoke with Monique, who was very pleasant and helpful in answering my questions and proactively thoughtful about insurance vs. out of pocket. Throughout my time with Peak Performance, they front office /​scheduling team was always great. My initial evaluation was with Jerome — he was very nice and took the time to understand my situation and then explain his assessment (and I had run 15 minutes late).
The next 10 sessions were spent mostly with Alan and Jason, who are first and foremost really nice people, working through the stretching, strength building exercises, and treatment. The two of them worked well in tandem and helped me through the program and got me back to feeling much better. In addition, there was Sam, Alex, and 4 or 5 others (sorry girls, I couldn’t recall everyone’s names) who were there to help out — all really nice, friendly and helpful.
I consider my injury fairly easy to deal with (not to take anything away from Peak Performance’s efforts and help). I was more impressed by how the team worked with the other patients with more significant injuries and less physical capabilities. They are genuinely patient focused, caring, and thoughtful. My hope is to never have to see them again (at least in the office), but if I do, I know I will be happy to see them and will be well taken care of.

I had a rotator cuff tear surgery. Recovery of a rotator cuff massive tear surgery is a complicated matter. I went through 12 weeks of physical therapy at Peak Performance.
They were competent and caring. Everyone there was helpful and attentive. The atmosphere of the place is relaxed, comforting, Friendly and encouraging.
My therapist was Todd. He was excellent. Being owner and manager, he is a busy man. One thing I had to learn in working with him was that he has you in his care even if he is multi tasking 10 tasks. In the beginning I felt a bit neglected. But, I underestimated his multi tasking capabilities. He always attended to my concerns, gave me right therapy and good advice.
Another positive mention I wish to make is Jason. Jason was particularly helpful in working details of exercises.
Bottom line: Excellent! 5 stars.

Beware very shady billing practices and even if you call them to inquire they are not willing to help and just provide excuses for their deceptive practices.
I was told I was out of network but given the good reviews I asked how much it would cost me per session. They told me between 30 to 40 bucks per session. I agreed to that amount but once I got the bill it was $ 54 per session and 1 other session was $ 70 because my PT was off that day and the other PT charges you different pricing again very shady.
That’s a range of 14 to 24 bucks per session from the expected pricing after 8 session you can see how quickly it adds up and that’s not even counting the 1 session @ $ 70.
Basically on phone they started saying that it was an estimate which they did not mention when told me 30 to 40 bucks the price that I was expecting. They could have @ least said sorry if we where not clear but no they do not care about customer service and kept trying to clarify themselves after the fact that I did the therapy when they got me accept the therapy based on misinformation.
Very unfortunate to see a place like this so highly rated while Neva the therapist was OK and the PT helper staff friendly I expected more from a place rated like this. I would give this place 2 stars even with this incident but since it’s rating are so high I wanted to bring more attention to this review.

Had a great experience at Peak Performance! Alan was my PT, and he made sure that he changed up my exercises to match what my body needed. I started to improve quickly with his help. Not only is Alan awesome but so are the aides (seriously they were the best and made you so welcome, while making sure you did the exercises correctly)!! I feel so much better after my time at Peak Performance! I recommend this knowledgeable, and professional team to everyone!

This is the 3^rd time I have had to go to physical therapy for my knees so this time I chose Peak Performance. Front desk staff was great and booking appointments was easy. I worked with Jerome and Alan as my PTs and both were awesome; they were able to answer questions and explain what exercises were working on what muscles and why. All the aides were great too, they corrected exercises so I was doing them correctly and kept me distracted when I was doing something I didn’t particularly enjoy. I have been pain free for about 2 months now and I couldn’t be happier.

Short version: knowledgeable, kind, patient, helpful, nonjudgmental staff makes for a good experience. Go here for your physical therapy! You will feel better.
I really like Peak Performance. My only other experience with PT is a different place where my dad went to get rehab for his knee, and that was like a different world – impersonal, lack of expertise, etc. At Peak Performance, everyone you work with has serious training in what they’re doing (many of them have advanced degrees!). On top of that, they really care about their clients. It’s a positive working environment, too – you can tell that they enjoy working together. This surrounding good mood is a helpful thing when you’re trying to recover from an injury, I think!
To get the most from your experience, stick with one physical therapist. He or she will have a good overview of your progress. If you have to change your appointment times frequently and can’t stick with one person, it’s OK; they take notes on what you’re doing. It’s just a more seamless experience if you have one person most of the time.
The staff tend to multi-​task; it can look a little like a three-​ring circus your first time, but the multi-​tasking just means that it’s not impossible to get an appointment. They *are* keeping an eye on you, but if you need attention, just ask. They’re extremely responsive.
Also: Don’t cover up pain or discomfort. When they ask how you’re doing or if you’re sure you’re OK doing this exercise, that’s not the time to be macho or polite. Tell them what you’re feeling and they’ll have a way to adjust the exercise, try something else, or switch activities. Same thing goes for your «homework»: they’re great about giving you exercises to do at home, and those are important to do. (I’ve definitely been progressing faster since I put more emphasis on doing the home exercises.) So if you’re having trouble with it – I couldn’t figure out where to use my resistance bands at first – you need to tell them so that they can hook you up.
The front desk staff are also helpful and friendly.
Finally, don’t worry if you’re young, small, old, out of shape, or large. They’re good at accommodating everyone, no judging involved.

I have been at Peak Performance for months due to rotator cuff surgery followed up by a frozen shoulder. Needless to say it’s been a long road but I have to say that recovering at Peak has been amazing. The owners Todd and Neeva are great! And the office manager and front office staff, Monique and Amanda, to their therapist and aides make my time there so warm and welcoming. Honestly they get some good laughs out of me when I really want to cry. They are a heaven sent for this period of time in my life. They are very professional and knowledgable, from my Insurance questions/​concerns to my physical therapy questions I have. Alan is my therapist and he is amazing along with all of the aides; Rachel, Christina, Kyle and Anna. They all do their job very, very well. I have to say going to PT isn’t always the highlight of my day but when I walk in they make me feel better and my mood begins to change quickly. If you are looking for a place to rehab I would highly recommend Peak Performance!!!

The staff here is so welcoming, knowledgable and friendly. I was hesitant to come bc I was embarrassed and uncomfortable. But the experience I had was very nice, and my ankle injury already feels better. Thank you for your hard work!

I was very lucky to have found this place through Unilocal!I don’t usually leave reviews, but I simply had to share my experience of Peak Performance and make other people aware of the great service this facility provides. I injured my ankle in a skateboarding accident and was in a lot of pain. After wearing a cast boot for six weeks I set out to find a place to do my PT. I was very fortunate to work with Alan and the team at Peak Performance. They explained to me the nature of my injury and worked out a therapy course aimed at strengthening the muscles that would protect my ligaments. I had a similar injury before, but the doctor who I went to the first time around never educated me about what was really wrong so I had no idea that this was crucial to my recovery.
Alan’s aim was to help me heal and prevent this type of injury from happening again. At Peak Performance they do really focus on the long-​term result. Was it hard and challenging? Yes, very much so, but I had the support of great professionals who were with me the whole way. The difficulty of my sessions increased progressively and I could see the result when I was able to stay on my feet longer during the day without feeling any discomfort.
The level of customer service and professionalism at Peak Performance is really unprecedented and that applies to front desk and everything that happens in the therapy room. At the same time you’re in a very welcoming and friendly environment. Alan would check on my progress every session and share helpful advice on how to make the most of the sessions and even what footwear would be more suitable for someone with my kind of injury.
Today I’m back on my skateboard and I couldn’t be happier. I still have to do my exercises, but I now have the knowledge and tools to prevent me from injuring myself all thanks to Peak Performance! Alan and Jason really made a big difference in my recovery and I’m very grateful to them and the other team members. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a quick recovery and long-​term results!

Peak Performance Physical Therapy deserves more than a five star rating, every therapist and assistant is nice, easy to work with and friendly, I enjoyed every moment when I was in Peak Performance.
I had frozen shoulder for a while, I tried different ways to solve my shoulder problem, but none of them works, so I decided to try Peak Performance, Todd worked with me to find my limits and improve them, encourage me to take challenge with his support, the exercise was simple and also very effective, after three month, my shoulder was greatly improved, I am able to do lots of things that I haven’t been able to do for a while!
Thank you Todd and all of the staff at Peak Performance for creating an overall perfect environment for hard work and recovery! I would recommend Peak Performance to my friends and family with no hesitation and if I ever need them in the future, I would return without a doubt.

Peak Performance is an amazing place. From the moment one enters the front door, he/​she is greeted warmly by Monique at the front desk and made to feel welcome and important. I’m not sure how, but all the therapists and assistants know all the clients by name and show an interest in everyone, not just the particular client the therapist is working with. Unlike other physical therapy businesses I have been to in Fremont, where the therapists have huddled together in a corner to talk about the latest happenings in their lives or actually watched sporting events on TV during the session, the professionals at Peak Performance constantly interact with their clients, challenging them while supporting them. Every session is one-​on-​one directed and ends with a good slice of personal time with your therapist.
My present round of therapy is for a knee replacement. Four years ago, i had a compound fracture in my left leg, and before that a torn meniscus, so this is the third session of therapy at Peak Performance. Each round has been as excellent as the others. My experience has and remains a completely positive one. With my current situation, my physician, Dr. James Hartford made it a point to tell me twice at my re-​check appointment to congratulate my physical therapists for the wonderful job they had done with my recuperation, strength and range of motion with my knee.
Todd and Neeva, both licensed physical therapists, own Peak Performance, and are present and actively involved with patients throughout the day. Alan and Jerome, also licensed physical therapists, are equally as excellent. Assistants are upbeat, knowledgeable, and eager to follow through with the individual exercise plan created for each client. I highly recommend Peak Performance and would add stars to the five already there if possible!

I injured myself by dropping a weight on my foot while working out. I could barely walk and my tendons were crushed. I worked with Jerome, and then Alan and got help from all of the physical therapy aides! They are all amazing people, are excellent at what they do and make these painful exercises very fun! They have a realistic optimism and I like that they don’t beat around the bush. I’ve been to many physical therapies and this is by far my favorite!

I first came to Peak Performance in December 2014 to be treated for cronic back pain. I though was being caused from my skulleousus. I met Jerome he was friendly and full of energy, and told me that my pain was actually caused by inactivity from working in an office setting. At first I had my doubts, but every week I came in and my pain started at a level 9 and by May 2015 my pain was at a level 2. All of their streching expercises, strength building, and encouragement help me to achieve a normal life again. Coming to Peak Performance was the best decision I ever made towards my back pain!

So about 3 months ago I decided it was about time to throw a wrench in my routine so I decided to fall wrong while doing some indoor rock climbing. My doctor at PAMF diagnosed my injury as a grade 3-​ankle sprain and so began my road to recovery. This is where Peak Performance Physical Therapy entered the equation and I could not be happier with the results.
Going to therapy my first day was a bit daunting, but Todd and his genial yet optimistic personality assuaged all my worries and after relating his own grade 3-​ankle sprain story I felt optimistic and ready to tackle the next couple months. I started going twice a week and immediately saw and felt results. Everything was going par-​for-​the-​course but that alone doesn’t warrant a 5 star review. The reason why I am giving Peak Performance Physical Therapy a 5 star review is because of Alan Fong. Alan worked with me throughout my entire recovery and immediately picked up on my drive to get back to my outdoor lifestyle. I was given a straightforward ankle brace at PAMF, which worked well, but Alan suggested a reasonably priced athletic brace that literally changed how I felt doing anything athletic. Between the new brace and all the specifically tailored daily exercises that Alan had me do, I felt comfortable biking, jogging and even doing some easier (5.10a/b) climbing within a couple months of my accident.
All of the people working there seemed knowledgeable as well as affable and when you have people like that in your corner it makes it easy to want to recover and become the person you were before your injury. Its been two and a half months since my injury and thanks to Alan and Peak Performance I am going on a 3 day backpacking trip into the Sierras (with my walking poles and brace of course!). Thanks for all the help, Peak Performance, it was a pleasure working with you =D.
