I hired Phil earlier this year after hiring and firing several gardeners and gardening companies. Where other companies failed, here is where Phil succeeded: He comes in and doesn’t just mow and go. We discussed what it would take to get my yard back into fighting shape which included cutting back hedges over time, trimming plants, removing dead trees, slowly working on lawn weeds and lawn health, etc. He has done all that and more… I once bought a few plants I intended to put in over the weekend and he took care of it! There are so many gardeners who just do the bare minimum and get out, but that is not how Phil operates. He comes weekly and gets so much more than just mowing done and really works with you on what you envision your yard and garden to be, instead of what it is. I cannot recommend him enough. He is knowledgeable, friendly, efficient, reliable and reasonably priced, especially considering the amount of work he does in a month compared with other gardeners. I hired Pc Home Improvements to trim a tree and some basic landscaping. They were awesome! They went above and beyond what I had expected! They were also very friendly and the rates are reasonable too. I will be hiring them for all my future landscaping and gardening needs. What was also great was that they gave me tips on how to take care of my garden. I am very impressed with this company!

I decided a while back that i needed a gardener. I simply didnt have the time, patience, or skill to properly maintain my yard. When we moved into our house, the yard was a mess. There were weeds everything, dead plants, and overgrown shrubs. I found Phil of PC Home Improvements on the internet after searching on yahoo for a gardener in Fremont. Kinda funny, his website is «fre​mont​-gar​dener​.com», can’t get any easier than that!
Phil came out to my house to check out the situation and sit down with me to talk about my options. He shows me some before and after shots of houses he has done in the past. I was pretty impressed with his skill and enthusiasm. He is very professional and love his job!
After we decided to do a full on front and back yard cleanup, he let my pay for the major cleanup over the next two bills. The monthly bill for coming to my house twice a month was very reasonable. It is usually him and one other worker at my house, and they do very quick and awesome work. He works around any conflicts i have and has never let me down.
Over the past two years, my daughter’s birthday party fell during a week when Phil was not scheduled to come to my house. We called him and asked if we could move a week and have him do the cleanup so the yard was ready for her party. He has no problems accomodating us, and ended up keeping the regular schedule in addition to coming by for the extra cleanup. Now that is great service!
