HC Nelson has been our families jeweler for 30 years. I regularly receive anniversary, birthday & Mother’s Day gifts from my wonderful husband who always shops here. I have never been disappointed in any gift. The folks are very knowledgable about the stock. They are wonderful to work with from everything from watch batteries to jewelry repair. As an added bonus, we always are given a bottle of champagne to help us celebrate our anniversary. I can’t say enough wonderful things about this store.

I went in to have my engagement ring repaired (my husband purchase the ring from another store that closed years ago.) The staff was polite and very helpful… they told me in detail how they would do the repair, the cost and when I could expect the ring back. They offer to clean my wedding band while I was there… it was so shiny again:-) A week later they called and I want in to pick up my ring. It looked better then the day my hubby put it on my finger love this place.

My wife and I have come here for many years and have always received good service. We have mostly had rings repaired and resized and watch batteries replaced. They do good work and stand behind their work. I don’t think we have purchased any new jewelry here other than a gold chain for a pendant, but they have quality products and reasonable prices. They are sort of small so their selection is limited, but check them out. They have been here for decades and are reliable in our experience. They are a bit «old school» and not particularly trendy but they sell quality merchandise.

I was next door at Pasta Presto getting food one day and decided to stop in H C Nelson & Co to see if I could find a wedding band that my fiancé might like. The guy working was yelling at another customer.
I was afraid to even talk to him but I waited and took my chances.
When I asked him if he had any hammered wedding bands for men he had no idea what that meant. I had to look through a catalog and show him. He said he has never heard of that. Hmm…
I told him I was specifically looking for a 14k white gold hammered wedding band about 6 mm.
Then he proceeded to try to sell me a $ 1500 platinum wedding band and tell me that my fiancé just shouldn’t wear his wedding band at work… ever.
I would not return to this store.
