History

Established in 1991.

In 1991 Mike Dulay decided to undertake a customer base of less then 30 monthly customers here in the Bay Area. Over the years with the help of customer referrals, marketing, and a little bit of luck, Mission Valley Pool Services has expanded to 200+ monthly customers. Our services expend from the East Bay to South Bay and anything in between.

We remain a family owned and operated business with our customer satisfaction as our number one priority. Mike manages the day-​to-​day operations while his two sons both Santa Clara University alumni help manage the backend office.

I called for an above ground spa service. The guy who answered the phone had an Indian accent and called himself Mike. I explained to him the nature of my problem. He said that he is able to fix it and he has 22 years experience. I asked about his rate. He said that he charges $ 89 a service charge. I set up an appointment. The night before our appointment. I texted Mike to ask if he would still charge me if he cannot fix the problem because I was still not convinced of his capabilities. I could not find any reviews about him nor his business. A few hours later, he texted back with no apologies canceling our service appointment because he is very busy. He advised me to find someone else. Our appointment was done 3 days earlier. The guy did not even say «sorry» and waited to the last day in the evening and cancelled our appointment. Maybe he is busy or incompetent, but definitely not professional and not courteous. I would give him no stars if possible.
