Love It Here! All The Staff Is Friendly And Super Welcoming. Teresa Does My Facials And She Is Awesome. She Explains Everything She Is Doing. She Takes Your Skin Concerns Very Seriously. I Love How She Goes Above And Beyond. I Would Definitely recommend Friends And Family To Come To This Spa.

Yikes! This place has terrible customer service and is extremely rigid. I did my best to make it work with them but they overbook their appointments so tightly and back to back that it makes them extremely difficult to work with. Plus if the work the manager has had done on her face is any sign of their work, I would rather not go. I wanted to give this place a try because it’s closer to my work, but will stick with my regular, awesome place … it’s worth the drive and warm customer service rather than just being interested in money and booking as many clients on top of each other as possible.

I LOVE Medspa 29. I did a lot of research and thought I would have to find a spa in Palo Alto or SF, but there is a great one right in Fremont! I came in very nervous because it’s very hard to trust someone new with my face. So many questions and concerns. Consultation is free and I decided to give it a try to see how my questions were answered and if I got a good vibe from the place. Dianne is great! Very professional and put all my concerns at ease. I was still nervous on the day I came for my appointment, but again Dianne made sure I was comfortable. I love the results. I plan on coming back when the time comes and I highly recommend going to Medspa 29. The place is cute, clean, prices are reasonable and the staff is super friendly. My best advice is to do research and go for the consultation with all your questions.

Becky is the best! She does my Botox and hair removal and if you are scared to go, don’t be! She will never over do it or let you waiste your money. She is honest and I just love her! She is extremely knowledgeable and I trust her with every ounce of my face. Books up fast! So be sure to book a few months in advance but she is totally worth it!

I came here for a microdermabrasion and peel treatment and Terre is AMAZING! My skin already looks and feels so much better and she is so knowledgable and recommending great products to keep my skin on recovery mode. I can’t wait to come back for more!!!

I come here for Botox and am really happy with the results I get every time. Julie is awesome and very personable. All of the staff are very careful to map out and discuss what results you want prior to injections. I also love the Brilliant Distinctions point system to earn discounts towards future treatments. This is THE place for your face!

Since I went last, they changed estheticians. They new lady, which I believe is named Carrie, is extremely anti social. She has a condescending way of speaking to you and doesn’t answer your questions. I really like this place because, other than her, everyone is very nice and professional. However, I’m considering finding a new one just because of Carrie.
As a note: the lady who does the botox (Julie?) is excellent.

I scheduled an appointment with Dr Marano regarding sun/​age spots on my skin, thinking that I needed laser treatments to get rid of them. He consulted with me and then sent me to the esthetician for a consult. She put me on an Obagi program one week ago and I am already seeing remarkable effects! My skin is plump and the spots are already starting to diminish, can’t wait to see how my skin looks in a month or even a year!
I am glad that I decided to go to Medspa29, their prices are affordable, the staff is friendly and they get results!

I have been on the fence about writing this review because there were elements of my experience that I am extremely happy with. I initially went the MedSpa to inquire about filler with the intention of having Botox done in my forehead. Although I loved the result of the Botox, I feel as if I completely WASTED my money on filler as a result of the lack of direction given by the esthetician seen.
I was the last appointment of the day and the esthetician was obviously cold and tired, which she made no effort to hide. As a result of this I feel that she did not fully listen to my skin/​dimple concerns. Another reason I was not pleased by the service was, the pricing was NEVER explained to me until I was signing the authorization paperwork and made the effort to inquire about the cost. Estheticians who I have seen in the past have always been so diligent about outlining the costs that I was a little taken aback by the lack of information provided at the time of consultation.
The main reason I decided to have the filler done was to soften and or diminish a dimple near the left side of my mouth which I referred to as a smile line. Although the esthetician recognized it as a dimple, she never fully explained that the filler chosen would not eliminate and or even diminish the appearance of the dimple. The dimple was literally THE ONLY REASON I agreed to having the filler administered. The esthetician also administered filler in other areas of my face which she identified as thinning and or in need and was cognizant of not over filling areas so that I did not look over done, which was nice.
Within five days the dimple was back and I was completely disheartened because I had spent hundreds more than I had intended to spend and or could even really afford with the misconception that my problem area would be eliminated. I immediately called the office and explained my concerns and they were able to schedule an appointment within a couple days.
It wasn’t until my second appointment that I was thoroughly explained that the filler chosen was not the product which would be most beneficial to this problem area. I expressed again that had I been told this during my first appointment, I would have NEVER purchased the product and WASTED the additional money. The esthetician was very apologetic and recognized that there had been a clear misunderstanding. I agreed that she possibly did not fully understand what I wanted as well as I may have had unrealistic expectations. I can’t help but feel as if she was more concerned with the sell versus actually addressing my individual needs, and although I am really happy with the Botox, I will NEVER return to this Medspa as a result.

I recently had a minor procedure performed by Julie. I must say, Julie is extremely caring and intelligent. I have been to other med spas in the past, and have never been treated with such professionalism and compassion. I had unusual concerns about allergic reaction, and she took the time to address all of my questions.
The results of my service were PERFECT! I am very happy with my results and definitely exceeded my expectations! I don’t know the other nurses in the office, but I highly recommend Julie based on my experience.
It is hard to trust someone with medical and aesthetic services, as I know since I am an RN myself, but I felt very reassured the entire time.
The front desk staff were also accommodating with me and pleasant.

Becky and Adrianna are just amazing. Becky has done a wonderful job with the laser hair removal and Adrianna’s skin care régime has fixed my skin.
I would give this place five starts if it wasn’t for the stuck up front desk staff. They act like little entitled princesses and I don’t have time for their nonsense attitude. Yikes! Smile a bit.

It’s really difficult to get a good recommendation from a friend for laser hair removal when none of your friends have ever had it done or have no interest in having it done.
Please consider me your «go to» friend for laser hair removal!
I am having my upper lip and chin worked on.
I had a consultation with Julie. She is very personable and welcoming. I am an ideal candidate who has had LHR in the past from a facility in way NorCal so I was ready to dive in. Luckily she had time as I had a 6pm consult. I started treatments right away. Julie is thorough! The numbing cream really helps in the beginning when the hair is still thick. Pricing is reasonable and not a deal breaker for me.
The front desk was helpful and welcoming and the office is really clean and decorated tastefully.
I am now considering getting LHR on my underarms and lower legs.

I have been doing alot of facial treatments for about 6 years now. Botox, Filler, IPL Fraxel and Microderm. So I know that it is not just the product but who is the administrator of the products. I have had good and bad experiences. I finally found my go to person. Julie Gorman at Medspa 29. I have followed and will continue to follow her wherever she goes. I have been Julie’s client for about 4 years now and could not be happier with my results.
Medspa 29 is a very nice facility with friendly staff and plenty of parking.
I will continue to frequent Medspa 29 as long as Julie is working there.

I went there for a facial. So before you go for a facial, you have to get consultation. I thought that was great. I had an appointment with Adrianna. She nice and knows what to look for on our faces. I thought my appointment would be great the next time I came!
I was wrong. I had asked many times to see the products and to read the ingredients before using on my face. My face is extremely sensitive and I didn’t want to take a chance of getting it very irritated. Adrianna only showed me one product and didn’t tell me all the products she was going to use.
As the facial was going on, it was nice but not satisfying. She used products the i didnt know what they were, like laying them. She used sunscreen too, but like i said, i didnt know she was going to use that. When she went for my blackheads, she missed many of them! I told her all over my nose and around the nose. I found 6 more blackheads untouched after and most of the nose untouched. I don’t understand why she missed them?
Because I was worried about my face irritating after the facial, I had called in to ask what can I do to prevent that. I felt like Angelina was rushing me. You can feel the uncaring side of people. And I felt that with her unfortunately. She did get most of the bigger blackheads out, but I wanted all of them out.
I gave this place 3 stars because the location is beautiful, the insides are beautiful, everyone was nice to me. Yet they lost two stars because of the facial and I had to pay a lot for blackheads to be missed.
The next couple of days, some of my blackheads were filled with gunk like pimples. So what is the point of a facial if I had to re-​pop the pimples?

So far I’ve been for one laser hair removal treatment with Diane. The only reason I actually went to this place is from the good reviews and since it was face area I didn’t want to take a chance.
They are very nice, but you gotta get in line for an appointment consultation which is free. The only reason I gave it 3 stars is that with all the deals with groupon «$ 189 for 6 treatments» this place is very expensive. One treatment is $ 111+. So since its face I am doing it but will not be able to afford it for any big areas. Don’t think it will be worth it. I wish they would have some good deals.

This place wants to charge a $ 50 consultation fee for a procedure that cost $ 1K+. Not a smart thing to do, especially there are doctors who gives consults.

Medspa 29 offers quality services at very reasonable prices. I had been shopping around for the perfect laser hair removal clinic for a while, but once I had my consultation at Medspa, I knew this was the place to go. My consultation was with Vyktoria (right now services from her are discounted at 10%).
Vyktoria definitely addressed all my concerns and provided a lot of information about the procedure. She made me feel very comfortable and I loved how easy it was to have a conversation with her. During my consultation, she was suppose to do a test area, but the machine was acting up. Because of this, the manager– Bernadette, offered me a discount for the inconvenience. Bernadette helped make the experience even better with her professionalism. I greatly appreciated how both of them went the extra mile for me. It showed how dedicated they are to customer service.
Medspa has the best rates for many services. So if you’re looking for low-​cost cosmetic procedures, Medspa is the place.

3 sessions into my laser hair removal, and so far I am loving my results!
When I first came here for a consultation, I chose this place based on the good reviews as well as the location since it is close to home, and on the way home from work. I was looking into places in SF that had pretty good prices for their services, but the commute just didn’t seem worth it. During my consultation, Dianne broke down the process, the likelihood of my results, the pricing, and even lasered a test area for me so that I could get an idea on what the pain would be like. After the consultation I determined that the price was worth it, so I went ahead and purchased 6 sessions for 2 areas.
My first session I didn’t use the numbing cream because Dianne had to gauge what I could handle pain-​wise, since that is an indicator of at what point my skin will be tender and burn. Even without the numbing cream it wasn’t that bad. Second session I tried the cream, and it definitely made for a more pleasant experience. Three sessions later, my hair is barely growing back, and the hairs that are coming back are coming in very thin. I’m not sure how permanent these results are, so we’ll see what happens after the 6^th session.
Actual laser experience aside, I would also like to acknowledge the friendly and helpful staff. I always get a courtesy reminder call from them when my appointments are coming up, and whenever I go in for an appointment they are always friendly and quick to help me. Dianne is pure awesome and very fun to talk to during these potentially awkward sessions, so I definitely recommend her! I love how flexible their schedule is as well, because they are open late and it makes it easier for me to come in after work. The facilities are clean, and the waiting area almost reminds me of a spa.
So far I’d say I would recommend coming here for your laser hair removal needs, although a fair warning: everyone’s results are different, so it may work better for some than others. Make sure you go to the consultation and they will be perfectly truthful with you!

If you want laser hair removal you MUST see Becky! I just had an initial consultation with her after a friend of mine was raving about how great Becky is and convinced me to drive 30 minutes away to see her.
It is well worth the trip! Really nice facility & convenient parking right in front! Becky is extremely knowledgeable about laser hair removal and walks you through the entire process. She even did a test area to show me the pain (which is bearable).
I am SO looking forward to being hair-​free! yay!

WOW! I’ve never been to a MedSpa that was like visiting a girlfriend’s place, except it was both friendly and professional! Everyone there is super nice and always smiling. I highly recommend Diana as she is very conservative with her work and then works you up to what you want, rather than over do it from the get-​go! I cannot wait to see her again. This will have to be my go-​to place for maintenance!
