ICE Safety Solutions (www​.get​ice​.com) is an American Heart Association training site providing health and safety programs for professional rescuers, emergency response teams, corporations and the community. The company is a certified Woman-​Owned/​Minority Owned C-​corporation. ICE Safety Solutions is a Gold Training Center for MEDIC First Aid International and a 20-​year Training Center for the American Heart Association. Our mission is to deliver training, equipment and services that are fun, effective and easy to implement through our American Heart Association Training Center and partnerships with Zoll, Medtronic, Cardiac Science and Philips Medical Systems.

In 1999 ICE Safety Solutions was established to offer American Heart Association CPR/​First Aid training to the public. Pamela Isom left her career as a research biologist to begin a career as a CPR Instructor as a way to spend more time with her new baby. The home– based business rapidly out grew the bedroom, living room and garage which ultimately enabled her to re-​locate the company to a commercial space in 2005.

Today I had the experience of learning and Matt’s CPR first aid class. Matt not only made it so it wasn’t boring he actually had it so that I actually learned a few new things. I have been renewing my certification for a quite a few years now and I do say that Matt’s class was the best class yet!

Matt was our instructor and he was amazing. Very knowledgable and funny. Made the class fun and brought us breakfast! He also has a raffle at the end of the course which was very nice. The videos were short and too the point. The location was very clean and had a homely feeling.

ICE Safety Solutions has been our corporate CPR/​First Aid and AED trainers for the past 8 years. Not only do they have the best trainers, they make such training fun, informative and totally stress free. The focus on competency is in the actual demonstration of competencies. Pam Isom (owner), has gathered together a group of people who are team and customer service focused, who in their own rights, are excellent trainers. However, as a group of people, I don’t think you could get a tighter group solely focused on ensuring lay staff are getting current and correct information in a way and manner that allows us to feel empowered after training. They also provide other forms of disaster and emergency preparedness and have loads of first aid supplies. At this last CPR/​FA/​AED training, Pam, Paul, Patrick and Denise provided our staff with additional role playing scenes to assist us to quickly assess a situation & to know when to call 911.

Now ready to save lives! Pam was great, she made safety fun and easy to learn. I learned everything from basic first aid, ems, to cot and aed. For a training that was just one day, unlearned a lot and feel like I can retain what I learned as well. Excellent class!

I attended a class on Emergency Evacuation Training in San Ramon and the class was awesome, the instructor was very passionate and knowledgeable. I found it was very informative, fun and interactive .It made me more aware of the importance of knowing what to do in case of a natural disaster or emergency. ICE Safety Solutions did a great job and I would highly recommend it !

Coming into this CPR, AED and First Aid class, I dreaded spending my day off here. But Pam made class very fun and entertaining. She taught us first what to do in emergency situations and we got to act out/​practice scenarios. This made remembering what to do in different situations easier.
I would definitely recommend taking this CPR, AED, and First Aid class with Pam if you want to enjoy what you’re learning.
Keep in mind that this class is from 8:30am-5pm. Lunch is at 12pm-12:30pm, so plan your day accordingly. We did finish early and got to leave at around 4pm, so we were very happy about that.

Thank You Pam, Jim, Vic and Rio. I just completed CERT training from ICE Safety Solutions. This company is the BEST, they are real professionals. Of the 4 trainers, 2 were retired Fire Chiefs, 1 paramedic and 1 trained in medicine. I would recommend their company because they can make even the novice a trained CERT member that will have complete confidence that they can help in any medical or disaster situation. And they make it FUN. Really an invaluable experience and really worth my time. Thank you Toyota Motor Sales for letting me attend.

Pam Isom is awesome!!! She has been doing our childcare CPR training for the last 15 years. On top of being super fun and entertaining, she also provides us with the knowledge of what to do in a real crisis. My 18 month old daughter recently suffered a seizure and Pam was able to answer all my questions and provide me with information that will comfort me if it were to happen again. She educated my child’s grandmother who is her care taker while my husband and I are at work. I definitely feel more at ease knowing she got trained by Pam and can respond appropriately if needed. Thank you Pam!!!

Pam and Denise were awesome! I usually dread CRP training since it’s every 2 years, but they made this fun and very informative. Pam used multiple personal experiences that helped make what we were learning applicable. She also listened to our own experiences and gave positive feedback on how to handle situations. When it’s time to renew my CPR and AED card again, I’ll be happy to take one of their training courses.
