Loved how my nails turned out, but I’m sad that my gel nails didn’t last more than a week

I went back today for another Mani Pedi this place is awesome. I really enjoyed my time there. I got great service. Does not matter who does the work for you they are all good.
Its comfortable clean and very friendly. I have met so many nice people there. Everyone seems so happy with this shop. Please try it if you have not been there you wont be sorry.

I came here for the first time and got myself a pedi from Kasey and gel mani from Anna. Took a try with the Unilocal reviews and I called in and they were able to take me right away. The ladies were both very sweet and meticulous. It was really great to see long time customers there, it just shows that the shop has good quality and care.

A friend told me about this nail salon a few weeks ago after trying it out herself for the first time. Saw her nails and decided to try it out. Located in a small little shopping center really cute little shop. Everyone was very nice and prices weren’t bad at all. I got a full set with gel polish for 30 and my friend that came with me got her acrylics removed and shellac on her real nails for 25. Really good prices and they did a pretty good job. Very personable and friendly which is definitely a plus. I wish they had shaped a couple of my nails better but it’s nothing big. Still would be back to get a mani or a pedi!

Came here back in June to get a mani-​pedi for graduation, and the service was great! I called in the day of, and made an appointment for a friend and myself. We were a little late, but they were still able to accommodate us. I wanted the color to go along with my dress that I would be wearing later that evening, and the one they recommended was perfect. The ladies doing my mani and pedi were awesome! I really liked my nails afterwards. However I am only giving 4 stars because they messed up my friend’s toe nails, and didn’t fix it properly.

I do not like Gennie, (Tina was busy at the time) Gennie did my nails once and she did them horrible. She was rude and she was also doing it in a rush. She was so unproffesional. Thank god shes not there anymore. Even the place feels so much lighter. The atmosphere is much more calm now.
This place is not pricey and Tina and Lynn are so nice they take their time and give you what you want. Also i just tried this place for my ayebrows and lips and i was very pleased with the results. Deff. My only place to do my mani, pedi, eyebrows, & lip. All in one place

Hands down one of the best pedicures I’ve had to date. The massage was just what I needed. They were quick with getting me started and then took their time — I felt so refreshed afterwards!

This place is great and not even pricy! I tried this place because my friend recommended it and I just wanted a quick shellac service. It only costs 20 bucks !
The only thing is that they do not massage your hands or anything and just do the shellac but I’m ok with that … For 20 bucks I’m def ok with that. I mean I’ve spent 30 + on shellac before and they massage my hands and sometimes I’m just in a rush I guess it all depends on you.
But they also give you a punch card as well so I believe after ur tenth or 12^th visit you get one free nail appointment :)

I’ve been coming here for almost 10 years and now my grandma comes as well. These ladies are awesome! Gennie and Tina are a life safer and I could never imagine going somewhere else.

Gennie is the best. There is nothing more to say. But I will for the sake of review. She is quick, efficient and my nails always come out perfect! She is also super sweet (as well as the rest of the staff) and she truly cares about her clients. I drive from Tracy to Fremont just for Gennie. That’s how good she is.

Everyone that works here is amazing and she is very reasonable.

I chose this place because it close to my new working location. I couldn’t wait until sunday either since one of my nail was broken already.
They do take time to clean and to polish… I like the way they handle my hands… so gentle… and check all the works detail.
I give 4 stars because they did not do good massage on my hands. It felt like putting on some lotion and rubbing it for several minutes.

Never going back here! I read over the reviews and it sounded like a great place! I am hoping I caught them on a bad day. I arrived around 11:00 for a gel manicure. There was one lady ahead of me getting a pedicure and they didn’t start on my nails until almost 12:30 they just kept saying give us a couple more minutes. The lady who did my nails kept asking me to sell her my iPhone which I thought was really weird and she was really pushy about it. She literally spent 10 minutes on my nails and got gel polish all over my cuticles. My nails looked awful. She didn’t put any cuticle oil on or lotion or anything just painted them and sent me on my way. After 3 days my nails started cracking and peeling off. Probably the worse service I have ever had and the worse manicure. And just a heads up they charge you extra if you use a debit or credit card.

I have been going to Gennie’s Nails since for the last 10 years or so and even when I moved away, I always made time to come back and see my girls. They have treated me like family and the conversations are always hilarious. My mother and 98 year-​old grandfather go there as well! :)
My nails never break and if I can’t decide what I want on my nails, I tell them to surprise me and they never cease to amaze me. There have been times that I did my homework (researched nail designs) and Gennie is capable of doing whatever I throw at her. Even the festive craziness.
Lynn gives THE BEST massages and waxes my eyebrows. I look forward to seeing them every time.

It’s funny how you people go there once and expect to be treated like royalty. They appreciate loyalty and patience. Do you expect to be treated like a princess every time you walk into a shop/​store for the first time? Don’t be ridiculous people.

Gennie started doing my nails when I was 14 years old before she had her own shop. I am now 29. I have never found a better place to get my nails done. I live in LA now and even with all the options out here I still have not found any place I trust more than Gennie’s. I traveled back to Fremont recently to have her do my nails for my wedding. I wouldn’t have it any other way. My whole family goes to Gennie’s to get our nails done. Gennie and Tina are definitely the best but all the other technicians are great too. Do yourself a favor and go to Gennie’s.

I’m updating my review after coming here for 5+ years and adding in the fifth star. I’ve read some of the reviews people have posted and I honestly can’t believe they have had a bad experience. Gennie does my nails and she always does a great job and is willing to help me achieve whatever look I’m going for. I always make an appointment, and I have never had to wait more then five minutes past my appointment time to get in. Which is usually just in the height of prom season. They are also nothing but friendly to me and I’m always greeted as soon as I walk in.
BTW: If you don’t make an appointment, then don’t complain about waiting, you’re taking your chances! That’s true at any salon. In my opinion if you have to wait, that’s a sign that you’re in a good place. If you walk in and they don’t address you, speak up and tell them what you want. Don’t just sit silent and then complain when they don’t talk to you. Especially if they appear busy.

Gennie Tina Lyn and all the ladies are so sweet! They always squeeze me in but the only issue is the wait. Sometimes its bad so give yourself some time to be there BUT its REALLY WORTH IT!!!
