«Big School Opportunities in a Small School Environment» … Fremont Christian School partners with families to provide everyday kids both an extraordinary education and spiritual growth, all within a community of compassion. FCS is committed to excellence in academic achievement and quality instruction.

The 16 acre campus is divided for Preschool, Elementary and Secondary students. Facilities include state of the art computer & science labs, library, music hall, athletic training room, newly installed turf fields with 90 foot baseball diamond, full size soccer & softball fields, and a full size gym for basketball & volleyball.

FCS Athletics compete in the North Coast Section (NCS) of the California Interscholastic Federation (CIF), the state governing body of high school athletics. The FCS Warriors hold 68 League Championships and 8 North Coast Sectional Championships over a wide variety of sports.

FCS Fine Arts department produces award-​winning choral, traditional band, strings, jazz and hand bell ensembles. Music and drama students collaborate to bring professional level Broadway musicals and classic plays to the stage. Choral and instrumental groups tour, perform, and compete at a variety of venues.

Established in 1968.

Fremont Christian School (FCS), is a private school founded by First Assembly of God, now known as Harbor Light Church.

No other school in the tri-​city area offers private education from preschool through 12th grade. All students are involved in the faith community of the school, though not all students are of the Christian faith. FCS continues to have dual accreditations at the highest level from Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) and Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI).

Overall student-​to-​teacher ratio is 12:1 with a population of 750 students across all campuses.

Head of School

Dr. Tricia Meyer is an active leader of teaching and learning at FCS. She is committed to research-​based educational practices that bring about transformation. She has been trained by Project GLAD (Guided Language Acquisition and Design) and made a commitment that all students at FCS will benefit from this instructional model.

Earning a B.A. in English, a California Single Subject Teaching Credential, a Master of Education, a California Administrative Services Credential, and a Doctor of Education, have all prepared Dr. Meyer for her role as the Head of School at FCS.

Having started her administrative career as a college counselor, after years of teaching, Dr. Meyer has a special interest in college advising. Her doctoral dissertation for George Fox University explored college counseling in the Christian school. Her commitment to early college advising is evident in the high quality college advising curriculum available at FCS.
