Great little hole in the wall. Food is good and very reasonably priced They have roast pork, duck and all the normal stuff. Their eggplant dish is excellent. I like going here and getting food to take home. The duck price is a little high, but it is really delicious.

On par cheap food. If you are craving some classic take out I would definitely check this place out. The portions are pretty hearty. As for taste there is nothing that stood out. My coworker and I both ordered chowmein and all was going good until my coworker found a hair inside the chowmein. I wouldn’t come back by myself, but if someone invited me to go with them I wouldn’t decline. I would give this place a solid C+. Prices 10⁄10 Portions 9⁄10 Taste 7⁄10 Over all 6⁄10 Stay hungry my friends

Good, cheap, Chines take-out. Their daily specials are such a good deal. $ 5.95 for one item with noodles or fried rice $ 6.95 for two items with noodles or fried rice $ 7.95 for three items with noodles or fried rice They were quite generous scooping the noodles for my two item box. I ordered beef chow fun with a side of chicken string beans, and garlic chicken. I thought the garlic chicken was quite delicious and everything else was definitely better than other Chinese places. They also have the bbq things off to the side, so you can get cha siu, roast duck etc. Not really a place you want to sit around to eat at, so I would recommend, grab-n-go.

Decent prices. Tasty food. It’s the perfect place to grab some roasted chicken or salt and pepper spare ribs for take out. I think of it as a more authentic and fairly priced Panda Express. I would come back again if I were craving some quick grab & go Chinese food!

This is a little mom and pop owned restaurant, and they have been here forever so you know that they must be doing something right. As soon as you walk up to the store you are welcomed by roast pig and roast duck hanging in the window. If you don’t think that’s awesome, then something is wrong with you. Once you walk through the door you are welcomed by so many different options to choose from, which is awesome! I’ve been coming to this place since I was little with my family. Growing up in a Filipino family when you throw a party, it’s really not considered a party unless you have a pig there, and yes we mean the pig with the apple in the mouth. So this was our go to place when it comes to ordering our pig! They’re deals on the full pig are within a reasonable price range. We also come here whenever we are craving some roast duck or when it is raining for their amazing wonton soup! Their roast duck is phenomenal. After trying multiple different Chinese location’s roast duck, this place is my go to for amazing roast duck. Not to mention the price is to die for. And if you’re not in the mood for that, their wonton soup is amazing.

I got to this place today because i was in fry’s Electronics and i happen to be hungry and I found this place through my cellphone via Unilocal.it’s your typical greasy spoon Chinese restaurant and they’re serving it by you pointing behind the glass. I had the hong Kong style noodles for $ 4.95 + tax for a big oyster pail. it was OK but when you’re starving, everything taste good. they accept plastic the ambience is like one of those places in N. Judah street i the City of San Francisco. Honestly i had better but this is doable.

Despite having bought a bunch of groceries earlier this week and today, I simply had no desire to cook dinner and had a craving for some local, fast Chinese takeout at Dragon BBQ Express(you’re better off taking the food to go as there is limited seating here, and one of the tables is often used for food prep). There’s a wide assortment of selections here that everyone can enjoy, from meaty entrees to vegetarian ones. Tonight, my Styrofoam containers(as bad as they are kept my food nice and warm for the drive back home) had full loads of beef chow fun(beef was nicely seasoned and tender and bean sprouts were crisp; I was afraid I might bite into something chewy but fortunately I didn’t), crispy fish(crunchy and salty crust with a moist, flaky white fish inside), string bean chicken(fresh and abundant amount of the beans and a little skimpy on the chicken), garlic chicken(it was bit dry today, but its garlicky sauce made up for it), and sesame chicken(sweet and tangy which complemented well). And of course, I’m suffering from the typical Chinese food coma right now, but I know I’ll be hungry again in a couple of hours. That said, this place certainly tops 99 Ranch and Panda Express in my books. But you’ll have to try and judge the place for yourself. What brings me back here? Good food, great owners and their generosity, and the fact that I love supporting mom-and-pop establishments like this one. Looking forward to some succulent roast duck and juicy BBQ pork on my next venture to the Express… All aboard!!!

This place is within walking distance of my apartment so I decided to give it a try. I got the 2 item combo with roast pork and roast duck and a side of the ginger sauce. I also got an order of sesame ballls. All I can say is that I am stuffed! The pork was moist and flavorful, the duck was flavorful as well and the skin was crispy and had amazing flavor. I actually liked eating the ginger sauce with the bok choy the most. The meats were flavorful enough without any sauce but it did complement it. This is my first time having sesame balls and they’re a pleasant treat. A little crispy, a little chewy, with a sweet paste surprise inside(is it some sort of bean paste?) The items sitting out looked decent but I wasn’t there for that. Service was friendly and I was urged to try free samples. The place was clean and sure it may not have the best interior but I’m not there to sit and eat so why complain about it? I would eat here again. Maybe I’ll try the bbq items next time or be adventurous and try some authentic Chinese dishes(pigs feet, anyone?)

This was my first visit here today. Random choice after getting off Fremont bart and starving. It’s a small place and from what I saw it is mainly a take out type of order. We didn’t grab and go, we did sit in to eat and people watch a little. The lady that helped us was super nice, especially since I ordered really slow and asked what everything was and if it was good. I know dumb question but you never know, sometimes people are honest. I gave the place only 4 stars because the down fall I had was the food was not as warm/hot as I’d like it. It was just over lukewarm and even though still tasty it just needed that little extra hotter heat factor to be amazing.

Great, local Fremont Chinese takeout! Their BBQ offerings and their duck are the standouts for sure. Has that mom’n’pop feel which I love. So, if you’re looking for that Panda Express, Americanized offerings they call ‘Chinese’, hop back on your car and go across the street! Great, hot food selection, w generous portions given. They even had pre-wrapped pork steam buns ready to go! YES! Today, I went w the recommended garlic chicken and beef chow fun. Solid! Also got the crispy fried fish fillet w jalapeño slices. Money! Note: GETTHEGINGERSAUCE! So damn good and is a great accompaniment w anything you order. Just ask for it and they keep them in little sauce containers in fridge behind the register. WOW! Quaint, family run service and very tasty food! I would’ve given Dragon BBQ5 stars if only they had a couple more vegetarian options. My wife would really dig it if that were the case! Dragon BBQ!

This place has good prices and ridiculous portions… but it doesn’t matter if you can’t eat the food. Granted, I haven’t tried the roast duck or BBQ, and I came here for dinner, but I could only stomach 1⁄3 of my 2 item plate. The fried fish was soggy, most dishes were too salty, and everything tasted the same. Worst of all, it didn’t sit well with my stomach afterwards. Never coming here again.

Update: Been here a number of times. The hot and sour soup recipe changed, it is now atrocious. I felt sick after a spoon. The garlic chicken was ALL potatoes. This place is starting to go downhill. They used to fill your plate up and now they count everything out. I’m still going to come here, but I will skip on some items. Been coming here since I was a little kid. Best place to get Chinese food, that isn’t Panda Express. If you get the Garlic Chicken, make sure you ask for no potatoes. The Fried Chicken is kinda oily and the Sesame Chicken is too sweet. Overall a pretty decent place to grab some grub.

I’ve been going to this place for years and I love it. I use to work right around the corner and one of my favorites things to get for lunch was a small broccoli beef and two potstickers for $ 1. Can’t been a delicious hot lunch for like $ 4. Their food is tasty, consistent and cheap. My boyfriend tends to get sick from Chinese food because of the MSG but I took him here and he was fine. So I can’t say they’re MSG free across the board but I think they just might be! Get two potstickers if you go here, they’re big and stuffed with a delicious pork filling!

I am a fan with their roast duck and soy sauce chicken. It tasted better a year ago. Otherwise, they serve decent shrimp with mushroom, roast pork, and pigs feet that I adore very much as well. The prices are decent with their food. They take cash and credit cards which it is very convenient as well. The lady boss and workers are pretty friendly there. We communicate in Cantonese as well. They play Chinese or Mandarin music. Parking is available in the plaza since they share the spaces with other stores. First come first serve!

I’m a regular at Dragon BBQ. When my family has a get together, they usually ask me to pick up a tray of bbq pork chow mien. Call ahead of time for a same day pick up for it to be freshly made and steaming hot when you go to pick-up. The pickings to get are the bbq duck, BBQ pork, or roast pork. I don’t really get the stuff that’s sitting in display over the steam table. That stuff can be hit or miss to me, so minus one star… Basically all their roasted stuff is delicious. Anyways, I finally ordered a whole roasted pig for my son’s birthday party in November. It was so huge I needed two people to carry it into the car and then again to the party table. The roast pig was a hit with my guest.

This is the most authentic Chinese take-out restaurant in the Fremont area. The quality & flavor of their food closely resembles a restaurant that you would find in Chinatown. Their prices are lower than most local places, as I usually get their 2-item combo for just $ 5.95(pre-tax). Their low prices and the taste of their food is worth a 4-star rating., but I am giving them a 5-star review because they are the only local Chinese establishment in the Fremont area that accepts credit cards with no strings attached. Other independent restaurants are usually«cash only», or there is a surcharge for using a credit card, or you would need to spend a minimum of $ 15 before you can use a credit card. Since Dragon BBQ accepts credit cards without any special rules., is one of the main reasons why I always go to their restaurant.

It’s an easy walk over for a quick lunch. The roast pork combo is one that my coworkers or I almost always get; choice of rice(steamed or fried), ½ lb of sliced roast pork with crispy skin and steamed veggies, usually steamed bok choy or cabbage. We usually pair it up with a large order of hot and sour soup. It’s an instant satisfier that easily feeds four. The combo is priced at $ 5.95 before tax. Though they open as early as 10:30 am, the food doesn’t start making its way over to the steam pans till about 11:15 am. It’s best to make your way at about that time for freshly made dishes. Some days the flavors can be inconsistent. Take the hot and sour soup– sometimes watery than usual, less spice or more sour. All in all its your typical Chinese deli/take out spot so it meets conveniency and is easy on your wallet.

A small Chinese restaurant, most likely family owned, which mainly sells roasted duck, BBQ pork, roasted pork and chicken; but there is also hot deli dishes similar to those in 99 ranch supermarket. This is my default go-to restaurant when it comes to roasted duck — the skin is thin and crispy, and the meat keeps its juice within and not overcooked. Chicken(soy sauced based type) is another item I recommend. Apparently the chef must have a unique recipe/technique to make these so good. BBQ pork on the other hand is so-so. There is also a wide selection of Chinese dishes you can choose from and you can order as rice box combo with ½/3 items. And it’s not expensive at all — $ 4.75÷5.75÷6.75! Yes, it’s not buffet style like 99 ranch, but the staff there is very generous on the food portion. I haven’t tried any of these dishes yet but will have to some day, all look pretty tempting. Service and attitude of staff is another big plus. Although the staff/chef/cashier are all Canto-Canto but they all try to communicate with you in whatever language you speak with very nice attitude. They also give out food samples(a very rare practice in Chinese restaurants) and you can tell they really want you to enjoy their food! There are tables and chairs but the feeling of the restaurant is not really for dining in. But for ordering to-go Chinese rice box, this is the place you cannot miss.
