C & C Liquors

C & C is almost neighbors with a 7 – 11, only a fence separates them. lots of microbrews to choose from, some priced, most not. (big bottles and six packs) regular and imported beers too.
offerings: loard’s ice cream pricey 3.5 first scoop, 2 scoops 3.75?, icee (.99), coffee,
convenience items.
brew: «stoli» non-​alcoholic ginger beer (1) 8.4 oz.
–almost as good as the good stuff.
«amita» strawberry harvest lager (1) 4.2%, 12 oz.
–lager brewed with «pilsner and wheat malts and vanguard hops»
real louisiana strawberry juice used.
–brew tasted slightly sour
one reason i avoid fruitty beers, either too sweet or leans sour…

–mystery of what most beers cost deterred me from buying from the cooler…

This is my favorite liquor store around. Especially now that they have amazing ice-​cream for sale. Anywhere that I can buy great beer and liquor with my ice-​cream sundae is 5 stars from me. Service is always great too.

Usually, I am not into buying single beers but my co-​worker wanted to try some strong beer (malt liquor) and I was happy to pick-​up some for him because he helped my so much! I usually pass this store each day; therefore, I went in to make my purchases!
When I went in, I was amazed by the assortment of singles in the cooler, from selection of craft beer to the large, 24oz cans, of malt liquor! Prices were really good compared to even the discount super markets!
The amazing part was the stocking clerk spoke to me to ask how he could help me choose the beer for my friend. This is something I have not experienced before at a neighborhood liquor store! He answered my questions about alcohol content and taste, thereafter, recommending some very good priced choices — King Cobra and Natural Ice, which were both in the 24 oz cans. These were strong stuff to me from looking at content on the labels.
Overall, a great experience, which I was not expecting! I would return when I need some stuff! I see they are installing a soda fountain and they have ice available for a good price!
