Brain-O-Magic

This is for Newark, Ca location. Teacher is good but first 15 minutes is wasted by parents dropping off their kids late and peeking through the window or standing at the doorway. Kids get distracted and start looking for their parents. My 5 year old asks me why I wasn’t there watching him.

My sons enrolled in BrainoMagic as soon as they were ALMOST 5! My oldest has nearly completed the program and I see the benefits in many ways. The point of the program is to not develop a little calculator, but to visualize mathematical concepts, to develop thinking/​brain skills for problem solving, and to become confident and fluent with the language of the universe, which is math… among many other things. My oldest was having difficulty with a concept and the staff have gone out of their way to recognize his struggle and suggest he seek additional complementary help with them to solidify a concept. The instructor and the owner CARE THAT MUCH about helping each individual student and I love that about this place. I know that both children are getting the attention that they need from instructors who care if the children are learning. The staff is very supportive, they make it fun, and they are so positive when it comes to providing encouragement and awards/​recognition for all achievements (most improved, most spirit, etc.). I always feel that my children are in an ideal environment for achieving their potential here. I recommend it to anyone. I wish I could take the classes! My mental math could use some boosting.

Brain-​O-​Magic is a great place to for kids to learn Math. Ms. Annie who teaches in the Newark center is wonderful with the Kids, and my daughter loves to go to her class. My daughter has improved a lot in Math and mental calculations after going to Brain-​O-​Magic and learning Abacus for the last two years. I will recommend to anyone and it is a great investment in your kids.

My son has been learning abacus techniques at the Fremont location of Brain-​o-​Magic for over 2 years now, and is now at level 10 (one of the highest levels). I can’t say enough good things about the center, the teachers or the abacus learning techniques. Learning the abacus method has helped my child do well in math in school, as well as other math programs such as Math Olympiad. I have also noticed improvements in his memory and retention. Ms. Puja at Brain-​o-​Magic is a marvelous teacher and makes every effort to make sure the children understand the material and keep up with the work. The kids love her and love her classes. I highly recommend Brain-​o-​Magic as an enrichment center that can greatly help your child achieve their full potential.
