This is my go to place from now on. Great selection, knowledgeable staff, and a great atmosphere. You’ll love this place too.

I just got into MTG recently, still building up a good deck and learning the rules and me and the bf decided to check this spot out and and I was very impressed. This is the first game shop I’ve ever been to but can’t imagine finding a better one near me because this one is just so awesome. The staff was extremely helpful and gave me lots of useful tips and even offered to train me and help me with my white/​blue deck which was really nice of him! They have a big calendar on the wall with all kinds of events and can’t wait to go in for some Friday Night Magic once I feel confident enough to play. They also offer some good membership perks which is something I look forward to taking advantage of. The other customers in there were also really friendly. Stoked about being a part of this community and having a local place to make that happen. This seems like a great place to go for both seasoned and newbies, for MTG as well as other card and board games. Tip: they also have board game rentals there. think it’s 5 bucks for 3 day rental, which is great for a weekend activity with friends.

A huge assortment of games, ranging from board games to card games. If you need any help, their employees are really friendly and know their stuff. There’s also the option to come with your friends and rent the games and play it at their tables in the back. If you check in, you get one free game rental. I suggest Smash up, Munchkin, Love Letter, and Werewolf.
Genesis is one of their best employees. He is very attentive and passionate about working there. He is the ideal employee who helped me select the perfect game to buy.

Fun place to come hang out and play some board games! The people here are really friendly and definitely know their stuff.

In the front are all the board games, under the window there are also games you can rent out! Their renting policy is pretty cool too! 3 days for $x.xx and when you return you get $ 5 dollars back towards a board game of purchase! Neat I might add.
The back room is empty tables that you can chill and play card games with.

Stopped in to see what this shop was about after moving to the area and wanting a new MTG spot.
Right when I walked in the door, the guy behind the counter knew that I was new (and also knew every person in the shop personally) and introduced himself. Explained all that the shop had to offer as far as boardgames, different gaming events, magic the gathering, etc.
I had an awesome experience in the few minutes I was in there. This place has a great environment and I can’t wait to go back for business!

Our family visited this shop after it was «recommended» by one of the owners, Nick. He showed us around even though it was really late and he and his coworkers were really nice and super friendly. I wish we had a local gamestore that is as good as this! We looked around and they had a huge selection of magic singles and boosters.
Hands down best game store in town, if you’re in the area you should definitely go there.

Went here for the first time last night for board game night. We met the owner, Nick and he played a couple games with us. He was really knowledgeable and friendly. It was easy joking around with all the people there! Was just a lot of fun! It’s a great way to meet new people and experience some entertainment that you wouldn’t normally think of. Apparently they have Magic here almost every night. My husband highly approves. Joy… ;-)

This Is By Far The Best Place In The East Bay! People are Friendly And Welcoming!!! One of The Workers Nicholas Took a Few Hours Out Of His Time To Teach Me How To Play Magic! There Passion for The Game Is Crazy!

Wow. This place is hands down amazing. Some friends took me here and told me we could just come in and play board games. There are a bunch of tables where people are free to play games and whatnot. So we found a table and started playing some Settlers of Catan with each other. The people who come here are so friendly. People would come by to see how our game is going. An employee walked by to observe the game and chat with us. He also went out of our way to move the board game to another table because our table was reserved for a certain time. He didn’t want us to rush our board game to finish before the reservation time. Before we left, some people asked us if we wanted to join them in a game of Cards Against Humanity. We didn’t buy anything and were not pestered or pressured to do so – rather, the employees here still help make sure we have a good time. I’ve decided that all of my future board game purchases will come from this store simply because this business is run by awesome people.

I’ve only been to the store for a few months (even though they were only open for a few months) and during my time there they treated me very well. The workers are super friendly and chill, everyone’s willing to play a game or teach you one, and they have demo games to try before purchasing. Compared to other game stores the employees are extremely lax, often playing games with customers until needed for assistance. I’m also a big MTG buff, so finding a store that does Standard, Modern, EDH, draft, and even Legacy is super refreshing. Some of the storegoers even play Vintage, Pauper, or Cube when the time arises.
Overall, this is the game store to go when you’re looking for somewhere extremely low-​stress and accomodating for Magic, Force of Will, or a variety of board games.

Sometimes I wish that the fast paced technology changing world would either stop, slow down, or reverse. Bigger Better Games affords that rare privilege these days!
First of all the owners & staff are top notch. They are personable, knowledgable, and friendly.
Their desire to get people together to have fun playing games with each other and interact with one another is refreshing. Very thankful for technology and all of its benefits, but even more thankful for Bigger Better Games for offering the concept of bringing people back together in a non electronic fashion.
Looking forward to this place replicating itself around the area, around, the state, and around the country!

My son was looking for a special card for his Magic deck, and was recommended to call BBG from one of the popular South Bay stores to check this place out. So he called and they had two! We quickly drove over to the shop from the South Bay — easy since it’s straight up 880 and just off Auto Mall Pkwy in a small office park. While my son got some good advice from one of the staff on how to maximize the playability of his current deck with the new card, I talked to Nicholas, one of the owners. In short, they are dedicated to the gamer community, and they want foster gaming as a collaborative, building, sport. I felt we made the right choice in coming there! Oh, yes, the price of the Planeswalker card, plus others he picked up, were better than online prices.

Best board Game store ever, every one of the staff is friendly and I give them 10 out of 5 stars! They’re board games are so fun and involve both strategy and luck! Way better than Game Kastle!

I was looking for a shop that sold MTG singles and this place was recommended by an employee at Game Kastle. I wanted to build a deck from singles, but had been out of the magic game for an entire standard rotation. They helped me build a standard deck to my play style, and my budget. Then they explained the strategy behind that particular deck. Extremely helpful employees.
The store was clean, and didn’t reek of virginity. ¹⁰⁄₁₀ would build a deck again.

This place is great, brand new shop with a friendly and helpful staff that is super informed but NOT elitist and snarky. They’re very welcoming and very good at explaining. All around great experience, a big play area, many, many events, drafts, etc. They buy and sell all Magic cards and have a big selection of pre-​painted minis. I will me coming back, and frequenting this place.

While out shopping on Saturday, I noticed some balloons and a big sign that said, «Grand opening!” on a game store I hadn’t noticed before. My friends and I trooped inside, and were greeted by a friendly store owner, a great selection of board games, RPG supplies, and MTG cards, and pizza!
We chatted with some employees for a bit about games we liked, and mentioned we’d been meaning to try out Machi Koro. They happily escorted us to the back, where they had a copy of the game for us to try. We ended leaving with the game.
All the employees were very friendly and happy to answer our questions about all things gaming. There seemed to be a mix of board gamers and card gamers, and gamers of all ages.

These guys are awesome. Very friendly and informative. I got hooked on a game called Kromaster. I might become a regular at this place. If you like to play, on thur. they have organized play. They have cool partisapation prizes.
They do all sorts of games, like magic and warhammer. Lost of family games too. I will definitely be back.
