Benefit Brow Bar at Ulta

A few months back I made the executive decision to stop threading my eyebrows (I kept getting nicks and ingrowns, both of which can lead to scarring, which negates the point of trying to get my shit ON FLEEK as the children say) and grow them out for a bit. Ever since then, I’ve exclusively had them waxed, tinted and trimmed at the Benefit boutique on Sutter.
But as a Union City resident, sometimes SF just seems too far. I did want the same level of attention to detail and I also just love Benefit products so I figured this might be acceptable.
Uh, yeah! My brows look great. AND it was close to home, AND I had enough time to wander around Ulta as I am prone to doing when I’m in the area without my husband or kid.
I don’t know why Mireya doesn’t have more reviews, and I was really hesitant to write this review because I selfishly don’t want her availability to be compromised, but honestly, she’s great. Both at brows and people skills. Plus, I’ve finally met the one other person in the world who is as obsessed with «White Chicks» as I am.
Overall a fun experience. I will continue to see her for my brow needs.

I’ve been getting my eyebrows done since I was 12 (nine years and counting) – I’ve gotten them waxed, tweezed, threaded, etc. and I didn’t truly love my eyebrows until I got them done here by Mireya. She is knowledgeable, hilarious, and will make you feel comfortable during your service; she definitely puts the «expert» in «arch expert.»
Bottom line: Mireya and the Hub Benefit Brow Bar are amazing. I’ve been a loyal customer for the past ten months and I will be for as long as I can be!

shoutout to Mireya who tweezed my brows and waxed my upper lip! was super friendly and quick. took me in without an appt (Saturdays are busiest days and I got lucky cuz there was a no show) and was pleased with my brows. wanted to try tweezing cuz I can’t do it well myself and I do work at a spa lol but didn’t have time yesterday after work. so glad I came in. definitely willing to pay to have my brows done elsewhere. my last two times at work, my shape just got messed up somehow and Mireya made them look them look close to twins. yes, I do like brows to look like twins and not sisters lol. thanks again, Mireya! Will definitely come back. Sorry forgot to take before pic.
