Alex is the best in the business and a real pleasure to work with. Before calling Bay Area Restoration we did much research and tried others in the past, but now will go back to Alex for all of our cleaning needs. We’ve used their services twice within the past few months. Our general carpet cleaning was perfect, as well as spot cleaning and area rug cleaning services. The scheduling folks were friendly and very accommodating. We can’t say enough positive things about BAR Carpet Cleaning. Thanks Alex!!!

Alex is the Sherlock Holmes of carpet cleaners! He looks at a stain, figures out what caused it, and then has the tools, chemicals, and «know how» to fix it. He also has the integrity to tell you when a section of carpet can’t be fixed and has to be patched instead. He’s cleaned carpets for me at 3 houses over the last 10 years. He’s simply the best I’ve ever seen. Even used him to clean up stains that another carpet cleaner (that the previous occupant hired) couldn’t/didn’t remove.

Nothing but great things to say! We have been using Bay Area Restoration for five years now. Through two kids, a Golden Retriever and a Havanese puppy Bay Area Restoration has never failed to clean our carpets to perfection! Alex, the owner of the company, is so friendly and reliable. The prices are fair and weeks after the cleaning our carpets still look great (at least until our puppy destroys them and it’s time to call Alex again!). Love this company!

In one hour Alex made our carpet look as good as the day we first walked through the house. I’m still stunned! We have a light colored carpet in the living room… and we have a sliding door to the back yard (which is either muddy or dusty, since there is not much grass)… AND we have 2 dogs, one very large one that pottys outside and a very small one that likes to hide behind the couch and be very naughty. (Sometimes…) Long story short. Our living room had become a pit in 18 months. The carpet was foul, spotted, a dark dirt track from the kitchen to the sliding door. I really thought we would have to replace it. BA Restoration carpet cleaning is a BARGAIN. I’m having them back in about 6 – 9 months. $ 125 is going into my budget as pet expenses.

I called Bay Area restoration and the actual owner came to my house to do the estimate. I was shocked. He was very personable and professional. I had a nasty stain on my couch because my buddy spilled red wine on it. It was very reasonable price wise and the service was done in a timely manner. I would definitely recommend this company for any and every cleaning needs.

Alex did a great job on our carpets. Weeks later, they still look great. Good communication, prompt service. He didn’t have enough water in the tank for the whole place (I wasn’t the first stop, and as a condo we don’t have easily found hose outlets. But he searched the whole complex and found a hose hook-​up and finished the job. I recommend his work.

This review is for the service that they provided last December 2014 when I had a minor flood at my home. These guys were fast, efficient and offered a very competitive price. They did a fantastic job by saving our drywall, carpet and floor for further water damage. I was so pleased with their service that I also let them do our Air Duct cleaning. Overall, very satisfied and will hire them again in the future.

Best cleaning done ever. I have always been reluctant getting carpet cleaners as most companies are very deceptive and they dont even clean well. But man, am i impressed with Alex’s work. He put so much time and effort in cleaning and makes sure every inch gets full attention. And i say again, he does put in a LOT of effort in cleaning so all what you pay is gonna worth every penny. Couldnt be happier. And Alex is such a pleasant person to deal with. Extremely polite and respectful. You cant go wrong here.

I did my homework before selecting a carpet cleaning company… I collected coupons, read several Unilocal reviews, and called at least 4 different companies. After all this research, I selected Bay Area Restoration because of great price and positive reviews.
I am very happy to add a 5 star review! Everyone I spoke with on the phone was professional and friendly, which is much more than I can say for the other companies I called! This company also did not tell me a higher price once they were in my home — they were a few dollars under what they quoted over the phone!
Alex, the owner of the company and the carpet cleaner that came to my home, was very friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. He did a great job cleaning my carpets! I will be using Bay Area Restoration for my future carpet cleaning needs!

I hired them based on Unilocal reviews. Turned out the reviews are correct. Alex did a pretty awesome job. I burnt my carpet. It’s a pretty big one. He replaced burnt part with the one in closet and now I can’t even say that it’s burnt. I would definitely recommend Bay Area Restoration.

We redecorated with hardwood floors and area rugs a few years ago. It was now time to get the rugs cleaned. I went straight to Unilocal and got over– the-​phone quotes from several rug cleaners for $ 3 – 3.50 per square foot. Ouch. Apparently, rug cleaning is a much more involved process than carpet cleaning. When I got home, my wife had arranged an in-​home estimate with Bay Area Restoration. I figured she was in for a rude awakening.
Alex arrived and we were impressed. He explained the cleaning process (it matched the other companies I had talked to) but his price was half what the others were charging. We would be able to afford to have all our rugs cleaned instead of just a couple!
The rugs were picked up the following Monday. Nice guys — moved all the furniture necessary to get the rugs out, and put it back, too. Estimated cleaning time was 10 days to 2 weeks.
That Friday (4 days later!) they called– the rugs were cleaned; could they bring them by. Well, no, we were going out with friends. So we arranged for a Saturday morning return. They arrived on time– early, actually, and reinstalled the rugs. Even helped me replace blocks I had placed under the bed frame to raise it up a bit. Awesome guys!
The only reason this review gets 4 stars instead of 5 is that they were late the first two visits. The first time we got a call; the second we had to call near the end of the 2 hour window we were given. They arrived an hour after that.
But for the price and the «just plain niceness» of these guys, I highly recommend Bay Area Restoration. Just plan some extra time. ;)

Alex did a great job cleaning our carpets and went above and beyond the call of duty! I hired Bay Area Restoration for carpet cleaning, as we have a baby on the way shortly. I had wanted to move my bed so I could vacuum the dust from underneath. I asked if he could help and he did gladly, and my bed is HUGE and HEAVY! He also offered to clean my rugs too. Great experience and I would recommend Bay Area Restoration any day to anyone!
