Ms. Rose truly loves children and has raised 6 of her own. She has the patience it takes, when being challenged with difficult situations. In addition to her experience in teaching and caring for children of all ages, she continues to refresh her knowledge and stay abreast of the latest developmental Ages and Stages of children.

Health care, preventative safety, disaster preparedness, as well as Pediatric CPR and First Aid, sets Apple Zapple Daycare apart from other small family daycares. Monthly fire drills and earthquake drills are practiced. Emergency supplies for 3 days are kept on hand.

History

Established in 2014.

This is a new business under the name Apple Zapple Daycare, since it was state licensed in Fremont, CA on April 1, 2014.

Owner has had previous state licensed, large family daycare experience in Santa Rosa, CA for about 5 years. Never any negative reports.

Prior to this time, owner cared for neighborhood children in Phoenix, AZ, as a daycare provider.

Owner, being a mother of six children, offers a wealth of experience, of which to profit from, in the creating and building of Apple Zapple Daycare, which is an ongoing, fun adventure to provide a safe, fun, learning environment for all children.

Business Owner

Marcia considers health, safety and communication of high importance, having additional training in these areas. She enjoys running her own business, and has gone back to what she really enjoys, which is caring for children. That’s where her heart is at!

Relevant Experience:

Operated a Licensed Large Family Home Daycare for 5 years in Santa Rosa, CA

Lead children’s Christian programs for ages 3 — 12 year olds in Santa Rosa, CA

Provided infant care in a nursery settings for 3 years in Santa Rosa, CA

Coached a girls soccer team for the FYSL in Fremont, CA

Presently, assisting with a girls program, ages 7 — 8, at church in Fremont, CA

Presently, caring for two infants at Apple Zapple Daycare, Fremont, CA

As a mother of six children, Marcia has profited from personal experience, and combined with knowledge of infants and toddlers has opened Apple Zapple Daycare, with long term intention, goals and direction to thrive! Ongoing Early Childhood Education is part of her training outlook.
