Excellent experience for first time car buying. I’ve owned cars before but this was my first auto loan. Nima, Sam, and Marc (whom I never met but emailed) are showstoppers. I drove onto the lot with my 08 Chevy Malibu that had plenty of engine damage and they traded her in for a 12 VW Passat. Not only was the car in amazing shape, the price was unbeatable. Just an exceptional experience Nima whom I worked with never hassled me, they never tried to get me to finance with them (which seems to be the only way that other dealerships can make a sale) They weren’t able to give me as much for my trade-​in that I needed, but they worked with my credit union and got the deal approved! I was apprehensive about small car dealerships before this experience. My feelings have done a compete 180! thank you Amc Auto.
I’ll give up the 5th star once I receive my plates and extra set of keys! ;)

I stand by my previous review, but I have to share how exceptional they really are. When I bought my Audi, one of the headlights were going out. So, I took it to Audi Palo Alto to handle it under the warranty after the purchase– which they did, but the headlights were two different colors after. Annoying… To make a long story short, Audi PA refused to fix the other claiming the car had hood and fender damage. I just about LOL’ed myself on the spot with a «do I look like I was born yesterday» look and left irritated. I guess a couple of barely noticeable touch ups around the headlight qualify as accident damage to them.
My bf called Nima who said they’d take care of the bulb the next morning which was Saturday. Perfect. I brought my A5 across the Dumbarton, and they changed out the bulb to match. I met Mark, the owner, who was super nice and solicitous to making things right. Everyone there was cool, and they even sent me off with a loaner while they took care of it.
Thank you AMC for your excellence in car dealing and customer service!!!

Recently had the pleasure of working with Mark, Alex and Nima at AMC Auto to secure the purchase of a 2013 Audi A4. Everyone at AMC was professional, courteous and went the extra mile to make sure the car was in the best condition possible when I took ownership.
They were flexible with financing and even took the car into a mechanic I selected to have it inspected since Fremont is a bit of a BART ride from SF.
I waited a few weeks to write this review since I would be traveling in the A4 from SF — AZ — CO. The car performed flawlessly, even in the snow. The interior is immaculate and looks like it came off the show room floor. Couldn’t be more thrilled with my purchase at AMC Auto.

I came across one of AMC’s craigslist ads and immediately sent them an email about a car I had my eye on. Mark replied to my message and everything went smoothly from there. I filled out a credit application from the AMC website and In no time I got a response from Mark to advise I had been approved for a loan.
I went to the dealership later that day and was greeted by Alex. He made me feel welcome and allowed me to test drive the car. When I came back, I met Nima and he explained all necessary details about the loan, gap insurance, etc. no pressure was felt during the purchase process. Nina was professional and set a mellow atmosphere during the transaction.
Ultimately, I walked out with a new car and I’m glad I purchased it from AMC. Thanks again to Mark, Alex, and Nima!

This is a reaaaally long over due review.
This is my first time purchasing a car so I obviously didn’t know what to do, but thanks to the help of Sam, I was able to purchase the car I had my eyes on. They aren’t assertive with trying to get you to purchase their vehicles. Sam was very helpful in giving me a full understanding of how everything works. All in all, the whole car buying experience was great all thanks to Sam for making that possible. I was able to get the car with little to no credit history! Thankyou to everyone’s help.

Just bought a Mercedes from here recently! And it was probably the least painless experience I’ve ever had! Nima was extremely helpful and, helped me pick the right car for me! I drove from San Francisco to test drive a 2011 bmw 328i coupe they had on their website. Before coming down he said the two owners on the carfax was actually the original lease holders followed by the dealer.
After arriving one member of the dealership informed me that «his guys» had made an alteration to the car since they had taken the photos and uploaded them. Then in person the car clearly had several modifications. I asked them if they had made these modifications and why the pictures showed a different car. Another guy said «my brother was mistaken» the photos on the website were for a completely different car and the 2nd owner (who they admit was not themselves) was the one who made all of the modifications and only owned it for a month. After it was clear they were falsely advertising the car I walked away. Seriously sketchy tactics.

Sam was very helpful in helping me find my dream car. I was looking for a luxury car and this place has a lot of options to choose from. I’ve specified what I wanted and he delivered. The atmosphere of the business is very different from other dealerships because it shows that they are a family first rather than sales representatives. They are not too pushy and are really concerned with what you’re searching for. This is important since this is an investment. I definitely recommend this dealership to search for your dream car!

I purchased my first car (Prius C) a few weeks ago with Sam. He is knowledgeable and very nice. He wasn’t pushy and gave me a great price without having to play the bargaining game. He helped me finance and got me a great interest rate. He even stayed an hour after closing to work with me and paid my bridge toll!
It was wonderful to work with someone so genuine and I highly recommend going to him for your car purchase. He even offered to look out for a certain car if the ones in the lot didn’t fit my needs.
Definitely call first and ask to speak with Sam if there is a particular car you are looking for.
I found out about this lot from a used car site and I definitely will be sending my family and friends here if they are looking around.
This is my first Unilocal review, so you know it was great service if I am making a point to register for Unilocal just to support AMC.
Also, I get 50 mpg when stuck in traffic! It’s awesome! Thanks again, Sam!

I purchased a 2010 Saab 9 – 3 from Nima at the beginning of April. He was great, with no pressure tactics at all! He let me test drive it by myself, worked with me on the price, and found me an incredible financing rate that was better than my own bank.
I requested that they replace a turn signal cover that was missing and Nima said he would. True to his word, he ordered the part and replaced it, and even fixed a seat lever that wasn’t working that I noticed a week after buying the car. When I brought the car in Nima was off, but I got great service from Alex and Sam who gave me a loaner car while they had the work done. They also fully detailed my car when I brought it back in for the work.
I would definitely recommend these guys to anyone looking for a nice used car. They have a great selection of foreign cars and their pricing is very competitive.

My car was totaled a few weeks ago, so I was in desperate need of a car fast. While I didn’t have a whole lot of time, I was very particular about getting a white or black Mazda 3, with relatively low miles. I came across AMC Auto Sales during my online search and drove right over since they had the Mazda I wanted. I was a little skeptical since it’s a very small, standalone, privately owned dealership, but everyone was so nice and easygoing — not the typical pushy, uncomfortable car salesmen you’d find at a larger dealership. I test drove the car (they even offered to let me take it for a spin ALONE. never had that option before) and then discussed my financing options. Nima was SO helpful in finding me a reasonable interest rate (first time car buyer over here), and made the overall car buying experience easy and enjoyable.
What more can I say. great people and great cars at this place. I will definitely recommend AMC to friends/​family! Thank you so much for all your help, Nima!

I got my used mini Cooper at AMC Auto Fremont, I spend a lot of time comparing the price, and models. But they have the best price. The best thing is that Sam helped me get a very very good interest rate for the loan with zero down payment.
The service is great, Sam drove the car all the way from Fremont to Milptias at night and spend a lot of time communicating with me about the car details. He is very honest and patient. He tried his best to make me happy for my purchase.
Anyway, I will recommend people to check out here while you want to buy/​trade/​sell a Car!

i was looking through craigslist for a used SUV and came across an ad for a Ford Escape. Turned out it was posted by AMC auto sales. While i preferred buying a used car directly from owners, i took a chance and called to schedule a test drive. Couldn’t be more pleasantly surprised — Sam and Mark made the buying experience a truly satisfying one.
Quickly went over the car, gave me the keys and had me drive off the lot to test drive. Got back, worked with Sam on the numbers and he came through with a good set of numbers. Being a used car i was expecting to see some minor scratches on the car which in my mind was not show stopper for buying the car. After we concluded the deal, Sam offered me to leave th car so they could touch up the paint and clean it up a bit. I gladly left it, they not only worked on the scratches but they also sent it to the mechanic for a final inspection .
they were straight with me and i never got the sense that i was being BS’ed and in fact got the sense that they were in it for repeat business by giving great customer service.
The AMC team are customer and service oriented folks — Sam and Mark are, and i for one will be coming back once my daughter graduates from college in a year.

I recently traded in my car with AMC Auto Sales and was very glad that I did. I bought my first car, a 2010 Mercedes C300, from that last year and, after a year, I decided I wanted to upgrade to a 2013 Mercedes C250, so I came in to get my second car from them. The process was such a breeze and Sam was very helpful! He worked out all of the kinks and assured me not to worry about the financing part. I was in and out within an hour, in my shiny new car :) Sam was also very fair when we negotiated the price of the car as well, he worked it all out, so that my new monthly payments were similar to my old car note, and I was very pleased with that. Everything was professional and speedy. My overall experience was amazing; I would absolutely go back to buy another car, and would recommend anyone to go there to purchase a car!
