The teachers who spend the quality time with the kids are wonderful. However, the administration, particularly the director, Araceli unethically engaged in an inappropriate relationship with the father of two children who are currently enrolled. He is married and this situation has contributed to a separation leading to divorce. This is not easy for any child, especially under the age of 5 and I would assume that any preschool teacher who studied Human Development would know that this is damaging for any family and child to experience.
When you select a childcare provider you are choosing someone in your absence to care for the well being of your children the way that you would.
The management did nothing to correct Araceli’s behavior. She continues to work with parents and fathers who women are trusting to make the best decisions for their child when they are in her care.
I think this daycare is outstanding however I wish the administration took this type of situation seriously.
It was unethical for Araceli and just strait up wrong as a woman and mother.

My son was in Ms Harvinder’s preschool room. He learnt a lot in the span of 6 months he was with her. She is a great teacher and I loved this Alvarado center too.

After doing weeks of research and visits to different schools for my 2 year old twins I decided on this school. Searching throughout Fremont & Newark I found that they had a very welcoming Atmosphere. Miss Anna & Miss Punja were very patient in answering my 100 questions. After talking to the both of them I decided that this was the place for my girls. They even told me to bring my girls back that day to have a tour as well. Love the the flexible time schedule as well.

The area is very convenient as the school is located by the freeways. Upon entrance there is a code needes to access the main entrance to the classrooms. The center is clean and organized. The staff are great! Very friendly and approachable. Ms Anna the center director has the warmest smile, very informative and takes her time and answers any question. She is not pushy and is very quick to answer any follow up questions via email or voicemail. There is a great academic program and the school holds tons of holiday activities for families to attend to. My kids also LOVE cookie Friday. I would have to say This center gives me piece of mind while I am away from my children.

The only reason why I’m giving them 3 stars and not 5, is because of the cost. It’s extremely expensive.
If you’ve got deep pockets, then this is the place for you. The teachers are INCREDIBLE. They’re knowledgeable, caring and professional.
If it weren’t for the cost, my little girl would still be there as she learned a lot at this facility.

My son went to Alvarado Kindercare from the time he was 15 months old to about 18 months old — a short period of time, but we only left because we moved to Oakland. I stayed at home with him for the first 15 months and then had to go back to work and was so incredibly nervous and picky about where I entrusted his care to. I LOVED Kindercare and most importantly, my son absolutely loved it there too. He became so attached to his teachers in the toddler room. Ms. Beatriz, Ms. Hazel and Ms. Ellen were all so amazing with him. He learned a ton, blossomed before my eyes and has become an incredibly curious boy under their care. I honestly wish he could have stayed there longer. He will be starting a new school this week and I know he is going to miss his teachers at Kindercare Alvarado so very much. Frankly, so will I, because there is nothing like going to work with the confidence that your child is in capable, loving hands.
I felt as though the toddler room had the perfect amount of structure and play-​based learning. My son learned how to do so many things — eat on his own, take naps on his own, and was clearly free to be his own kid. His personality bloomed and there is nothing more I wanted for him (except maybe just more time at home with me!).
The classrooms were clean, toys were engaging and also kept clean. The routine there provided a very good structure for my son, which I now try to stick to. All in all, we had a wonderful experience here.

I had my daughter here when she was 4 months. The teachers are all very friendly and caring to the children, especially Ms. Yolanda, Ms. Kat, and Ms. Gloria. At the end of each day, Ms. Gloria will take her time telling me the details to my daughter’s day. I am usually the last parent to pick up my daughter but I never felt like I was being rushed out of the center. The teachers really want to get to know the parents and the children. I like the transparency of the center where we can come in and out to see our daughter whenever we want. My daughter loves the place and was always smiling when we brought her to the classroom. Unfortunately, I had to pull her out because she was getting sick too often and it was hard for us to keep staying home with her. This had nothing to do with the center or the staff. Ms. Anna was very understanding with our situation and worked with us on completing our last two weeks. I would recommend this place to parents who want a place where they feel that their children is well taken care of.

I wish some of the teachers here would be «sincere» and friendly and teach the kids (specially the older ones) to be somewhat focused on what the task is.

My daughter has been coming to this KinderCare facility since she was eight months old. I must say, her growth and development in the past 1 ½ years have been positively tremendous. If anything, I’m kind of sad that she’s growing way too fast for me.
At any event, my husband and I are very happy with the teachers and the management, as well as their structured programs for each age group (i.e., infant, toddler, 2-​yr old, 3-​yr old, etc.). It is like a second home for my daughter … most of the teachers are very warm and personable.
I understand it is a bit pricey for some families, but if you could afford it, I would recommend bringing your child to KinderCare. It is a fun, enriching and safe environment for kids. We feel very secure leaving our daughter here. She is very happy, has made several friends and continues to make new friends, and applies practical learning at home – at eighteen months – such as washing hands before mealtime and cleaning up her toys. She also loves to read and sing endlessly.

We have used this daycare since our son was 6 months old. The infant and toddler care providers are very caring and capable. I like that they have structured times with different activities and they keep my son on a consistent nap schedule.
