Thos. Moser makes some amazingly beautiful, well constructed furniture. The folks in his showroom are kind, helpful, and really take pride in what they sell. I would recommend anyone visiting the Freeport area stop by this place to check out his work. I recently purchased his Continuous Arm Bench and could not be happier with it. It is absolutely GORGEOUS!

The only reason I am giving Thomas Moser even two stars is for their furniture, which is beautiful and extremely well constructed. When we finally received our Harpswell chair, it was exquisite. The delivery of the chair, however, was another story indeed. The shipping company put us through hell. In the nearly 30 years, that I have been buying furniture, Thomas Moser and their shipping company(Clark & Reid) made the most problematic delivery I ever experienced. The whole experience was so unpleasant that regrettably, we will not be buying any more furniture from them. Part of the problem was that Thomas Moser made the decision to move the delivery date up by nearly two months, without bothering to inform us. In their letter dated 10-27-2011, we were led to believe that the chair would be arriving sometime in early January 2012. Instead, around the 17th or 18th of November 2011, we received a call from a representative at Clark & Reid stating that a delivery truck was going to be in our neighborhood on Sunday, November 20th2011 between 1 and 4pm. We were completely surprised by this. Their letter stated one thing, and they chose to do another without letting us know. We canceled plans we made for November 20 and waited around for a delivery that ultimately did not show up. This screw up on their part was followed by numerous other delivery problems, too many to mention here. In the many telephone conversations I had with George of Clark & Reid, he came across as almost incompetent. The shipping company practically had us jumping through flaming hoops in order to accommodate their ever-changing delivery dates and times. The whole experience was very irritating and disruptive to our personal lives. Despite our many complaints to them, no one at Thomas Moser has given us a definitive explanation as to why they changed delivery plans without informing us.
