Hands-down best Italian in Freeport. We love their bruschetta pizza… but give more than just their pizza a try. Check the chalkboard for their daily homemade soups and menu for fresh, melt-in-your-mouth entrees. Take a bite, close your eyes, and you’re in Sicily. Everything at Raimo’s is delicioso!

I’ve been a customer of Raimo’s in Freeport for 25 + years. The quality of food is delicious. As of late my favorite pizza pie is Focaccia pie. A must try. Staff is always welcoming too.

Love their Marsala slice and the salad slice. I could eat it every day to be honest. I like how they opened up the restaurant it has so much space and looks more welcoming.

My go to place. When I moved here, this place was recommended. Been coming here for years. The staff is friendly and efficient. The owner is a sweetheart! They recently remodeled, it looks great! If you haven’t been here in a while, you should come see how they have expanded.

Been going there since I was a little kid. My favorite pizzeria by far. Spinach roll is a must and excellent Sicilian pizza.

This is my first time eating at Raimo’s. My coworker wanted pizza, so we decided to dine here for lunch. I was hoping they would have some vegetarian options and they did. No I’m not a vegetarian, but I’m cutting back on some things in my regular diet and meat is one of them. So I went with the salad pizza and my coworker opted for the mushroom pizza. I paid $ 4.62 for my slice and the mushroom pizza was $ 3.80. It’s also my first time eating pizza with so much veggies, but I must say it tasted really good. The service was good and the pizzeria is a pretty decent size. It has an authentic rustic Italian look. I like it. Think I may come again.

This is my number 1 pizza place on all of Long Island. My family has been coming here for over 30 years(and I’m only 30) but no other pizza place has felt quite like home the way Raimo’s does. Joe, the owner, is really a class act and he greets me like family when I come in. The guy with the mustache has been there forever and is wonderful, but I have never known his name which is a little embarrassing for me! Let me start by saying that Raimo’s DOESNOTDELIVER. A lot of people complain about this. But guess what? On a Friday night, they never need to. The people are willing to go to them and I feel that says a lot. I am one of the people. Regular slices are regular slices, however the special slices are above and beyond. Their sicilian is also a stunner, nice and fluffy, perfectly crisp. The prices are not cheap, but you absolutely get what you pay for. A BBQ Chicken slice that is the size of your head and every inch of it is covered with huge, deliciously flavored chunks of tender chicken. The chicken on the special slices is also cooked in the different sauces, as opposed to throwing grilled chicken on a slice and then dribbling sauce on top(a huge no-no that way too many pizza places are guilty of!). They also have buffalo chicken slices, ziti slices, all just freakin’ amazing. The veggie pizza is out of this world delicious, you could probably get your veggie-hating friends to try it and they’d love it. A chicken parm hero guarantees a mouthful of chicken in each and every bite, never dry. The chicken rolls are perfect, never burnt, soft dough, good amount of mozzarella. The pasta dinners are to die for. The Raimo’s Delight special is highly recommended, it consists of veal or chicken cutlet, lasagna, and eggplant parm, comes with side of pasta. When I’m in the mood for something lighter, I absolutely love their Pasta Primavera, the vegetables are bright and beautiful, the garlic and oil sauce is delicious. The Pasta Ortolana is beautiful pieces of grilled chicken, diced tomatoes, and broccoli with the same beautiful garlic and oil. I could go on for days, but save yourself a little time and just stop in. The entire restaurant was recently re-done and is absolutely gorgeous. New counters and tables on the pizza side, brand new seating, table and décor on the restaurant side however it does seem that the restaurant side is a little more casual now. That’s okay with me. Stop in and tell Joe that Kristin sent you. :)

At Raimo’s there’s a vast variety of different pizza’s as well as other authentic Italian dishes. I got the buffalo chicken slice, which had a good amount of spice and a generous amount of chicken which was delicious. Their customer service is good and the staff are talkative and friendly, willing to explain what each dish consists of. I have not been in the Freeport area before but from other Unilocaler’s this seems to be the best pizza place is the area.

I don’t normally write reviews about pizza places. So the pizza has to be awesome for me to take the time to do the review. I was in the place a while back though the pizza was awesome the décor and sitting area was garbage. Recently they gutted the place, took over real estate from the neighboring store and really turned this place around. It looks awesome. Finally the décor is as good as the food.

Raimo’s has unique pizza choices. My all time favorite that I have never found anywhere else if the stuffed pizza. It’s filled with pepperoni, sausage cheese, onions, peppers and has a dougy pie crust. No red sauce –just delicious goodness! Their zeoppole’s are out of this world and they make good soups to go. Also order the linguine in white clam sauce, or the chicken francese — both are great entrees if you want something more fancy. Also the chicken parm heroes are delish.

Anybody that lives locally knows that Raimo’s never disappoints. They have a great variety of pizza, pasta and appetizers. I have to recommend their Sicilian and Grandma slice, as well as their Chicken Caesar Salad. Today I got a taste of their lasagna and wow. looks like I need to explore more of the menu. It’s a shame they don’t deliver, but honestly that doesn’t even take away from how great this place is.

Good pizza, AWESOME pasta dishes! Try the penne alla vodka! Tried it from Raimos to see how it was, wasn’t expecting it to be that great minus the random peas in it. Would’ve preferred it without them but overall it is a cool place to grab something quick & tasty if you’re nearby.

So we’ve stopped here twice in the last month and I’m still wondering what all the fuss is about. Yes, the crust on this pizza is nice, but the obscene amount of cheese does nothing for me. It’s like the bartender who thinks putting two ounces of vodka in my drink rather than the specified one is doing me a favor. Perhaps I’m judging too harshly, but with all the positive reviews I expected more.
