Specialties

BioIndividual Health Strategies LLC is a unique practice providing individualized care for health restoration and healthy aging throughout the lifespan.

As a cardiologist, I discovered that the «mainstream medical» approach to Health Care was not at all «Health» «Care», but rather «The Identification and Management of Disease» once it has already shown itself. It is impossible to prevent a disease once it has already shown itself.

I had been confused about what to eat, how to exercise, what vitamins to take, and which medications to avoid, those that do more harm than good.

My passion has become how to clarify all of this for each patient based on their own unique BioIndividual genetic, biochemical, and metabolic identity.

History

Established in 2015.

I was obese with metabolic syndrome DESPITE the Guideline recommended diet and exercise. I was confused, why isn’t it working? I had the same questions: What should I eat, what type of exercise should I do, what should I take? Do I really need a statin? And, what is healthy for my family? There were too many conflicting recommendations for what to do about all of these.

I needed a second opinion from a doctor who was an advocate for ME. I have spent years studying these questions, and applying the new knowledge. Now I am able to provide a «confusion solution» consult to answer those questions.

These are the factors that led to the creation of BioIndividual Health Strategies, LLC.

Lowell G.

Business Owner

I am a Medical doctor with Board Certification in Internal Medicine and Cardiology, as well as a Master’s Degree in Physiology of Exercise.

I practiced Interventional Cardiology for nearly 30 years, and I emphasized proactive cardiac prevention and comprehensive cardiovascular rehabilitation throughout my career.

After transitioning out of the cardiac cath lab, I have devoted myself to studying and applying the principles of medical biochemistry, metabolism, nutrition, genetics and nutrigenomics, and hormone optimization using bio-identical hormones. I have benefited from advanced training in BioIndividual Nutrition, including certification as a GAPS practitioner, and experience with other therapeutic diets such as the ketogenic diet.

Understanding the principles of the root causes of disease allows for a holistic and effective treatment of obesity, diabetes, toxins, and infections such as Lyme associated diseases as well as cardiovascular and neurodegenerative disorders.
