I’ve only been here once, but highly recommend this hidden treasure based on that. We were in the area on vacation, and this was recommended. It’s a very unassuming place(read: «hole in the wall») and a little hard to find, but well worth it. My wife & I both got the«Cuban» sandwiches(grilled pork loin & cheese), with homemade chips and a pickle — a great bargain for $ 5. The sandwiches were outstanding! There was lots of meat on nicely toasted, thick sliced bread. Homemade potato chips were very fresh & very tasty. All of the prices were really reasonable… will definitely go out of my to stop in there the next time that I’m anywhere nearby.

This is the relatively new«brick and mortar» location for a popular stand at the Bloomsburg Fair. Really excellent, fresh roast beef and cheddar sandwich on fresh Italian bread. The sandwiches are huge and enough for two meals if you can stop yourself from eating it in one sitting. The signature sandwiches are grilled like a grilled cheese so expect to use a lot of napkins. Friendly, prompt service. Very reasonable prices. The homemade chips are very good and adequately salted. The fries are also good. The only negatives are their hours, and they forgot the BBQ on my sandwich. There are a few tables, but it seems to be more of a takeout place. I hope they do well in my old stomping grounds of Freeland.
