History

Established in 1968.

In 1968 Gene and Ethel Vande Hey built a bowling ally calling it Colonial Lanes. In 1978 they decided to add on a supper club changing the name to Colonial House Supper Club. Around 1995 Mike and Lynn Vande Hey continued the business changing the bowling ally into a banquet center. Mike is one of six boys. Our company has changed many times over and will continue to change with the times. Jesse and Charis Vande Hey are working managers within the company. They are also being groomed to continue the family values and traditions.

Meet the Manager

Jesse V.

Manager

I am one of many Grand children that Gene and Ethel have accumulated over the years. I have worked with my parents (Mike & Lynn) at the CHOUSE for over 17 years. I started on the outside picking up the parking lot after busy business hours. Making my way into the kitchen as a dishwasher/busser all the way through to Head Chef. I have also taken on some bartending to further my desire to know all the ins and outs of the business. My beautiful wife Charis started here back in the day as here first job dishwashing. She since then has moved from Head Waitress to Floor Manager. Charis is also FOH Manager, Bartending and hosting when needed. We have grown to close to many regulars and are excited about the people we meet on a daily bases. We thank you for your business and hope to see you next time.
