Welcome to Therapy Toolbox, a boutique-​style private practice specializing in the evaluation and treatment of speech, language, and overall communication needs of children. We are a family-​friendly business that offers innovative, top-​quality speech and language therapy. Our services include individual therapy, group therapy, and play/​social skills groups. We provide therapy for the Central Virginia area, including: City of Fredericksburg, Stafford County, Spotsylvania County, Caroline County, King George County, Hanover County, Henrico County, City of Richmond, Orange County, Louisa County.

History

Established in 2009.

Founded by Lindsay Dickinson, M.A., CCC-​SLP in 2009, Therapy Toolbox is a speech and language therapy clinic that focuses on establishing relationships with our families to provide the best therapy possible.

We are a boutique style private practice in which our therapists tailor every therapy session to address the individual needs and speech and language goals of our clients. We have close relationships with professionals in related fields, such as occupational therapy, physical therapy, and reading specialists which facilitates a collaborative approach to therapy. We also pride ourselves on our use of technology in therapy, specifically working with the iPad to address speech, language, and communication goals, as well as increasing web presence through blogging and app reviews.

Lindsay D.

Business Owner

Lindsay is from Fredericksburg, Virginia. She graduated from The University of Virginia with a bachelors degree in psychology and went onto to The George Washington University to get a Masters of Arts in Speech and Language Pathology. Lindsay has provided therapy in a variety of clinical settings including clinics, hospitals, schools, and in private practice. After working for 3 years in the school system, she started Therapy Toolbox (formerly known as Foundations Speech and Language Services) in 2009 to return to what she loves doing when it comes to working with patients: evaluations and therapy.
