The Lazy T B and B

My Wife & I stayed for 3 nights at the Lazy T this week and were so very happy with our choice. KK is a great hostess, and cooks a wonderful breakfast each morning. With the amount of time she has been in the area she has great recommendations for sightseeing, dining, and anything else that may come along. The property has great scenic views and is just far enough out of town where we were able to enjoy some peace & quiet away from the hustle & bustle of exploring the area each day.
Our room was very comfortable. The bed allowed for a very restful sleep each night. The shower was nice & large with great water pressure, and the other amenities provided everything needed for a stay away from home.
We will absolutely be staying here again when we visit Fredericksburg. Hopefully sooner rather than later.

Summary: My husband and I definitely enjoyed our relaxing weekend stay the the Lazy T Bed & Breakfast. and would definitely recommend staying there to others.
The details:
Breakfast: It was delicious both mornings we were there — breakfast tacos and pastries one day, bananas foster French toast and ham the second. There are 4 total rooms, and we enjoyed talking to the other couples at breakfast that were there during our stay.
Our Room: It included pretty much anything we would need for our weekend there:
— Kitchenette area with a coffee-​maker (in case you want to make coffee before the 9am breakfast time), small fridge, microwave, plates, silverware, wine glasses, champagne glasses, drinking glasses, coffee cups, corkscrew
— Bathroom with a large shower with two showerheads and large counterspace that included a vanity area with chair along with shampoo, conditioner, lotion, soap, towels
— Comfy king-​size bed, two nightstands with lamps, a loveseat (I believe 3 of the 4 rooms have a loveseat and the other has two chairs)
— Flatscreen TV, alarm clock
— Gas log fireplace
Other Amenities:
— kk knew Fredericksburg well and was able to direct us to a small hole-​in-​the-​wall winery with some great red wines (if you tell her what kind of wines you prefer, she can direct you to both local wineries and wineries on 290 that would enjoy), restaurants to try, and other things to do during our stay
— There are several places to sit outside, including a screened-​in area with rocking chairs and an outdoor patio area, which was a great place to sit in the evenings while enjoying a glass of local wine.
— Snacks! There was a candy bowl, leftover breakfast pastries, and some addictive jalapeño caramel popcorn while we were there.
— A short drive from the shops and restaurants in Fredericksburg

Loved the Lazy T B&B! This was our first trip to Fredericksburg. My parents were here from Scotland so took a 2 night trip here for a break from Houston. I honestly can’t wait to get back to the Lazy T! When we arrived there had been some confusion over the booking — KK hadn’t received confirmation from Expedia. Error on Expedias end. Thankfully there wasn’t a double booking and there were two rooms clean and available for us. KK was very accommodation, despite being thrown off guard with us arriving out of the blue! The barn itself is beautiful. A very eclectic mix of items, airy and homely. I loved the décor and vintage feel. Our bedroom was tastefully decorated, very clean and had an amazing extra large en suite shower, with two shower heads. It was very cool! The room had a kitchenette too with fridge and coffee machine. The weather wasn’t great so we didn’t get to take advantage of sitting under the stars or use of the hot tub, next time!
KK made breakfast both mornings and it was delicious! She checked to see whether we had any dietary restrictions prior. Her recommendations on the area we were welcomed and she was very lovely to chat to in the morning. I will most definitely be back to the Lazy T.

It was couples weekend in November, our friends and us had all 4 rooms in the main house. It was raining most of the weekend but that didn’t put a damper on any of our plans. KK was great! The rooms were great! The home-​cooked breakfast was great! We will be back!

KK did this place right! She and Angel were perfect hosts. The breakfast was fabulous and the place was tidy but very homey! We will return!

So we wanted a long weekend in Fredricksburg. We wanted a B&B not in the city, served a real breakfast and has an outdoor hot tub. Not so easy as it sounds. Lazy T fit us to a … T! Sorry. Too easy. Anyhow, we were lucky enough to get the cabin. Really enjoyed that. Sure the rooms in the main were nice too, but the extra privacy of the cabin was great. Temperpedic mattress. Gas log fireplace. Outdoor hot tub is outstanding. Away from city lights. Outside lights stay off at night for star watching. Breakfast was fixed by our host KK. Always hot, fresh and great. Good company with KK and our fellow travelers. We had some dietary restrictions, and they were accommodated for on request.
Only one minor and a couple of thoughts. The fridge in the room had a cooling fan come a little loose. Just bad timing. It made some extra noise. No biggie and the main refridge was offered if we decided to unplug.
The hot tub could of used some of the smell stuff to mask the well water smell. Chemical balance was perfect. Lots of birds was great. Would of been nice to maybe had a feeder out there for deer and other critters, but that brings other issues sometimes I suppose.
Bottom line is we really enjoyed ourselves.
Oh, was cool it was by the airport. Watching planes coming and going is cool. Folks flying in and staying a night or two should really take a look at staying here.

Lazy T B&B is a great place to stay while visiting Fredricksberg. It is a B&B that actually serves breakfast. One building holds four units which we and our friends occupied. It also has a nice cabin next door. All of the rooms in the main house were similar, except one did not have a couch. Each room has a double shower, flat screen, fireplace, mini fridge and microwave. The main house has a wide selection of books and magazines. There are also local tourist details. All of the units share a hot tub outside. The only downside is that it can be hard to find Upper Live Oak Road. The trick is to turn after Chuck Wagon.
