Shoreline Tan

What drew me to this salon was the 9.99 monthly deal for their value level beds. I figured what’s the hurt in $ 10 a month? I’ve been here for almost six months. I can say that the staff is very friendly and helpful, unlike other salons which is a huge deal to me! Very, very clean as well. What I do not like is that I haven’t gotten ANY noticeable color out of the beds I’m using, and I’ve even bought upgrade packs and used the highest level beds. I have tanned all over at many different salons for years and years and I’ve never had trouble getting a nice tan no matter what level bed I was using. So this strikes me as very odd. I don’t feel much warmth coming from the value beds at all. I’m not sure if maybe they don’t change the bulbs frequently or if the value beds are just really bad beds? It’s also hard to get there to tan as they close at 8 on weeknights, I’m usually not even out of work until almost 9. If the beds performed a little better and their hours were better I would easily give this place five stars.

I have a mixed review for this place and my 2 spray tan experiences. The first time I tried the Norvell machine spray tan it was wonderful and it lasted about 4 – 5 days. Second time I tried the machine the manager/​owner lady was there and she upsold me on a extra Hydrofirm spray after the tanning part was done. This made my tan fade all over my clothes and even though I didn’t shower for 24 hrs after, my tan was splotchy from my face to my feet. I called the salon the next day and left a message about what had happened hoping they would want to provide good customer service and rectify the problem but no one has bothered to return my call. So buyer beware.
