I was very disappointed with Sequels as well. I brought in a large amount of clothes, which I had to wait 2 weeks to bring in after making an appointment and nothing was accepted. Some of the items had never been worn before and were designer name brands, that were high style business, evening and church fashions, that I could not wear anymore because of a weight loss. I was told that they were looking for larger sizes (12 and 14) but would not accept the clothes I had. Maybe they only select clothing from «certain» individuals.

Very disappointed with Sequels. I made an appointment for them to look at some clothes and shoes that I thought they would be interested in purchasing from me. The items were purchased from high-​in stores. Brooks Brothers, Lands End and The Loft. I forgot 1 item in my car and it took me less than 1 minute to retrieve the item. I was told when I entered the store with the item, that they were not interested in purchasing any of these items. There is no way they had time to look at all the items I brought in. I bet Sequels has turned away others. i’ll leave it at that.

This is a great ladies clothing store. Mostly 2nd hand items but in excellent condition & what I would consider more upscale. Very affordable casual to evening wear. Great selection of jewelry and really nice purses to include designer. Some vintage items in very nice condition. Sequels also sells decorative items for the home — lamps, tables, antiques. I pass through on Rt.3 several times a month in my travels and make it a regular stopping point since they always have new items. And the ladies that work there are wonderful. I’ve never stopped in before, but it appears this store has been around for 10 years. My guess is a lot of people who shop there prefer to be the first one there. It’s a very cute, surprisingly big store with a variety of quality things for reasonable prices. (Fredericksburg so far doesn’t have an amazing secondhand market, so I’m comparing this to what’s available locally.)
Merchandise includes some furniture of varying styles (shabby chic, modern), home accents (, clothing, and accessories. Clothing tends toward the high-​end (Lord and Taylor, Ann Taylor, etc.) and in good to excellent condition. A great place to stop in for work clothing, formal/​prom dresses. They also have a rack for «just in» which is a great feature for someone nearby. You can pop in and know where the new stuff is! A mix of sizes — some incredibly cute xs/​s stuff, lots of mediums, and a good bit of floor space for size 10+.

Ok, I went AGAIN last weekend. I a pair of turquoise patent shoes, never been worn before, for $ 13.50!!! $ 13.50, folks! I just love feeling like I can go on a «spree» in here and everything is in excellent condition and so reasonably priced.
I’m a major fan and will return.
