I’m from out of the area and saw this place on Unilocal after wanting to find a casual dinner option. We ate at the bar and the bartender was friendly and attentive. I ordered a bacon burger and added a fried egg which I wanted over easy. The egg ended up being over cooked but the burger was still good. This place is a tasty spot for a quick bite and a beer.

The burgers are half off on Tuesdays, so I ordered one — medium. Our server asked, «Pink or no pink?» A little pink, cause I asked for medium… She said the burgers are cooked only two different ways. So I skeptically went with pink and prayed it would be right.
It was a perfectly cooked medium burger. There was an egg on it, and that was just right, as well. My mouth’s watering as I write this because it was that good of a burger. I didn’t care for the fries, because they had some basic seasoning salt on them and I like plain fries. However, the flavor ended up complementing the burger. Or I was just outrageously hungry. I cleaned the plate.

Stopped in for lunch one Friday while driving through. Fast and friendly service. Clean and nicely decorated atmosphere. Husband ordered the havoc burger which came with way too much siracha sauce and very few fries. I ordered the Hawaiian burger with a veggie patty. Very good veggie patty! The potato wedges on the side were nearly fried burnt and there werent many. Fair price for the portion. Id come again for dinner to checkout the drinks as well.

They were open late and still serving food, which was great! My friends and I couldn’t find another restaurant in the area that looked appetizing.
The food wasn’t anything exciting, But their options were varied and all looked delish.
The quesadillas are TINY you get a single large sized tortilla folded in half to make 4 tiny quesadilla pieces. I wasn’t full from eating the entire thing.
I also got a side salad (Caesar) and the dressing is a little spicy, and tart, It’s a strange kind of oily mixture, don’t get extra. The little bit they put on your salad is a good amount for the flavor it has. Too much and you’ll regret it. :)
The service was good, and the place was clean.
Just your average restaurant experience.

Clean, comfortable, plenty of tvs. The Man had a burger and thought it was great. I had mac & cheese, luckily added steak to the top. The steak was tender and tasty. The mac & cheese was noodles with thickened milk… no flavor!
Distressing that a worker put her foot on a shelf with food products to tie her shoe laces. ewe

If there was 3.5 id give it Very good sandwich didnt care for fries but they were ok pet friendly so we were quite happy

This little gem of a bar/​restaurant is located just off the University of Mary Washington campus and if my daughter decides to go there it will be a regular hangout for her. A nice sports bar, with a nice looking menu, very good food, and service with a smile.
After picking my daughter up following a field hockey camp we decided to stop for food before heading home to Jersey. As I said, Home Team Grill is just off campus and it looked like what we needed… I only wish we didn’t have a 5+ hour ride ahead of us because I could have used a beer. Anyway, we were seated immediately and had drinks in minutes. I ordered the Havoc Burger, my daughter got the fish and chips and Wifey got fish tacos.
Portions were just right for three hungry people and the food was really good. Fries were done perfectly (a little well done), the fish tacos and fried fish were excellent according to the ladies, and my burger… with Sriracha salsa, bacon and mushrooms-​well let’s just say I would happily get this plate full of deliciousness again.
I don’t know if I’ll ever get the chance to eat here again, but if I’m ever back in the area I’d certainly stop back in… and YOU should give it a try if you’re in the area.

I struggled between 3 and 4 stars on this one. On the one hand, it is a pretty typical sports bar/​restaurant. It’s in a strip mall and not the most original. I went there with a large group and the service was just so so. But went back tonight, because, let’s be honest Fredericksburg doesn’t have THAT many choices and guess what… we had a great time. Our waitress was super nice, gave us a recommendation when I was indecisive about an entrée. She provided samples of their new draught beer and was personable and sweet. The kettle chips were a tasty starter, though I should have just had them with dinner instead because I was far too full from the meal. The fries here are really good though! For a sandwich and pint, I’d rather go here than Chilis or Applebee’s or anywhere else that starts with «have you been here before? Let me explain our menu to you.» I prefer a chain that doesn’t undermine my ability to read a menu and then pick an item from said menu.

Average tasting food not much flavor. Chilis and applebees like though other two are much better.

I find this place to be a great sports bar. Not only do they have plenty of TVs, but their food is very good! Their waiters have been friendly and attentive every time I’ve gone. I especially appreciate their hostesses, Jess to be specific (She is super friendly every time I have gone in)!

I’ve been here quite a few times. I don’t know if it’s still a thing that they do, but they used to have a half price burger night, which was great.
Their food is pretty delicious. I appreciate that they have a good veggie burger! They have a lot of other foods that are good, including some veggie wraps, and mac and cheese! I’ve ordered alcohol here very rarely, and some of their mixed drink specials are nice.
Usually, their service is good or ok.
Maybe 30% of the time, however, service is ridiculously slow. Sometimes it’s understandable – they have a lot of people in, and they’re busy.
I think the absolute worst time was when I was there with a party of three. We had a good meal, ok-​to-​subpar service, and then asked for the check. It took us well over half an hour to get that. Catching the attention of the waitresses didn’t work («oh, I’ll be over in just a minute», «she’ll be right there»), they were just too busy to take our money apparently. Since we were kind of running late and had been there for too long already, we pooled our cash to cover the check. Then we left.
Suddenly, we had all the servers trying to get OUR attention, thinking we were trying to leave without paying! We simply told them we left the money to cover the meal on the table and walked out.
Another time, recently, we were seated and waiting way too long just to get someone to take our drink order. Figured it was best to bail while we could, and went somewhere else.
Usually they aren’t bad at all, though! I’d just avoid them when the place is obviously busy. Try The Tribe wrap, it’s my favorite non-​burger food :)

After driving by this place several times. We finally decided to give it a try and it was well worth it. The staff was very friendly and the service they provided was great. The food was very tasty. Basic sports bar food type of menu and the burgers were very tasty we will be going back again.

This is the place in town to catch all the out of market games in about every sport. The food and drink here are both great so that is a huge plus!!!

Went last night for ½ price burgers. The server typed my order in wrong I got a raw, cold, bloody burger. The manager corrected my order and gave me my burger for free. The correctly cooked burger and fries were terriffic. The place was totally packed and the servers were doing an excellent job.

Typical chain-​style sports bar with decent food and a good bar selection. Service was good, but the hospital-​style lighting knocks this place down from 3 stars to 2. LED lights work for cars… not for restaurants.

We’ve been here a handful of times for lunch and have had consistently good service and good food. The atmosphere is busy but not too loud and enjoyable. The outdoor seating area is a nice option and pretty spacious. They have a private room that can open to the outside. Nice options.
The menu has been updated recently and we think it looks great. The Veggie and Feta Flatbread was really tasty and the soup of the day, mushroom, was great too. Good selection of beers and half-​price Happy Hour every weekday 3 – 6 pm.

Great place to place to blow off the honeydoo list when I’m supposed to be out running errands for the wife… you got it, CHECK!
Bottom line:…“Hello? …uh hi, hun… what? No no… I’m standing in the TV section at Costco. Whaaaat? No, no… I’m not at Home Team Grill…”

The food here is good, but not great and sometimes it takes a while to get your food, but the servers are generally friendly and they have a good selection of standard American fare. The drink selection here is good and its a great, low-​key place to watch a game and have a few drinks with friends.
Note: If you’re a hamburger fan, Tuesday’s are the best night to go since they have half-​priced burgers.

Very nice place, very inviting room and good service. They have a nice selection of beer and some good local choices.
I was a little disappointed in the menu, I guess from reading other reviews I was expecting a different choice. With nothing that really jumped out at me I took the snack route and went with wings. Now, these were very good with some very good blue cheese for dipping. Not the best that I’ve ever had but very good.
This would be a great place to hangout, watch a game and catch up with friends… now if I wasn’t just visiting!

When there are flat screens in the restrooms you know they are serious about their sports.
Ate outside with our furry babies, area outside big enough to avoid the smokers. Indoor is very nice too.
Food was good, quick, service even better. Atmosphere is college town, very friendly community. Newer strip mall and buildings make this stop a winner.
