Last time I visited this office 5 or so years ago. I had a horrible experience. For one the face time with the doctor was so little. He was shuffled between 4 rooms or so. I was having pain in my jaw. Dr. Torrey looked at me and I ended up getting a filling done. I went home continued to experience pain called the office and then was referred to an endodontist. The office did not even see me or re-​examine me. I ended up getting a root canal. After the root canal I still experienced pain. It was not until I moved and went to another dentist that spent good quality time with me that I was diagnosed with TMJ.
I also have been informed that when dentist refer people to an endodontist they often get a «reward.»
Save yourself some time and money seek a dentist out who cares about their patients and is not in the business just to make money.

So you know how you can instantly get a vibe when you go someplace? I went here for the first time recently for a cleaning for myself and my kids. The woman at the front desk could barely grunt hello and couldn’t be bothered to give me 3 forms to fill out all at once.
Three people came in after us and are all called back. We wait. And wait some more. Finally I get called back 35 minutes after my appointment time. I am taken to a room where I wait another 15 minutes before we start my cleaning. Then I get to wait at least 10 minutes more for the dentist to come in.
Admittedly the staff in the back were friendlier, but not too thorough. My son had x-​rays and they forgot to take the films out of the machine so the next patient’s x-​rays were taken on the same film. They wanted to take more x-​rays but the dentist walked by and asked what happened. Thankfully he piped up and said «no», they would have to wait until the next time.
So the best part is when I went to check out. Admittedly, we have odd insurance that allows for 3 cleanings a year but we only have exams with the dentist every other visit. Now keep in mind that I had asked them about this when I set-​up the appointment and confirmed they accepted my plan. When I check out, I hear they won’t book an appointment for me in 4 months because my plan is «illegal.» Really? Illegal? (I wonder if United Concordia would agree?) Funny, because it has been accepted everywhere else for years, and you set-​up the appointment knowing full well that I had this coverage.
Needless to say, I left without making my next appointment.
