My hubby and I really enjoyed walking around here. The staff was very friendly and ready to talk or answer any questions we had. They said that all the art was done by local artists, which I thought was really cool. I enjoyed all the different mediums/​the art and furniture. If I was rich, I would buy the lily pad table. The art goes all the way through the building and there is even art out in the backyard, mostly metal statues. A lovely place to stop in and enjoy.

The director and artists we met were very helpful when we bought a beautiful multi-​strand necklace, and were very helpful and reliable later when we had an issue with the purchase. Wonderful people, great shop. I only wish i could have bought the black-​painted root fragment resembling a buffalo with a glimmering marble eye!
I’ll visit again when I go back to Fredericksburg.

Country bumpkin or not Rooster Sr. appreciates great art when he sees it. Artisans in Fredericksburg was a total knockout yesterday when we strolled in for a visit.
Amazing pottery, neon sculptures, diachronic glass, mosaics, kinetic art, and furniture. I seriously could have blown the savings account in a few minutes. A wonderful array of artists at the top of their craft.
Super friendly staff whether you were spending 10K or just a few dollars. We’re gonna have to save a bit cutting out toothpicks, hairspray, and diet cokes but I think I might be able to go get something next visit. My posted pics of the pottery vases tell it all; simply awesome.
