History
Established in 2014.
Vets2PM started as an online discussion between two guys who met on LinkedIn and found they had some things in common. They were both Military Veterans, PMP certified project managers, and experienced trainers. Then they also realized they shared a passion for helping other Veterans make a smoother transition to civilian life through mentoring them into the same lucrative career that they had found after their military service. After performing as project managers and teaching others in the classroom, they started to see a direct correlation between the knowledge and skills that all Military Veterans possess and how it is directly transferrable to the field of project management. The more they talked about it, the more convinced they became that they had a great story to tell Veterans and employers about the perfect match created between military service and civilian project management. So, they created a value stream of mentoring and training that resulted in Vets2PM!
