Trinity School of Frederick is a state of Maryland approved independent school offering students in grades K-8 a top-quality liberal arts education within a safe and supportive Christian community of faith. The school is located in Frederick County, within the Frederick City limits. Our highly educated faculty is devoted to fostering the self-confidence, talent, and academic potential of each student. History

Established in 2002.

In October 1999, the Frederick Regional Council of Episcopal Churches chartered a study to explore the need for a faith-centered independent school in the Frederick, Maryland area. That study suggested a strong desire for such a school, particularly for middle school grades six through eight. The founding board was officially formed in September 2001, consisting of educators, church members, community leaders, and future Trinity School parents. In October 2001, the founding board incorporated Trinity as a school, independent of a specific parish or congregation, but maintaining its Lutheran and Episcopal identity through Lutheran and Episcopal affiliations. In September 2002, Trinity School of Frederick opened its doors to 23 students in grades Kindergarten through four, adding a grade each year thereafter. In June 2007, Trinity School graduated its first 8th grade class.
