The House of Style

Friendly staff, I’ve had Amanda both visits. She trimmed my daughter’s hair and I received a pedi. She is lady of many talents!

I’ve had two experiences here thus far, and they’ve both been good.
Now, I’d originally wound up at Great Clips (in the Wal-​Mart/​Safeway shopping center) first. I’d advise against going there; although the woman who cut my hair didn’t «butcher» it per se, she didn’t do what I’d asked for — I’d asked very clearly for long layers, and she basically took her sweet time… cutting my hair straight across. I could’ve done that on my own.
So right after realizing that Great Clips wouldn’t be able to deliver, I went and found House of Style, basically across the parking lot. The stylist I wound up with at HOS, Leslie, fixed the job that Great Clips did by doing what I’d originally wanted. It looked great.
When I called in today to set up an appointment with Leslie, I was saddened to find out that she no longer worked there. No worries, though; when I went in the first time, all the people there seemed to know what they were doing.
I ended up getting Katie this time, who also did a fantastic job styling my hair. The whole shebang ended up being $ 40 for a wash, cut, and style/​blow-​dry (I do have long hair). Not too shabby!
Overall, the people there are friendly and even though I’ve only dealt with two stylists, I get the impression that they all pretty much know what they’re doing. Definitely recommend.
