History
Established in 1987.
Soft Images Salon started in Lake Forrest Mall in Gaithersburg MD.1987 we moved to Anteitam Village Center Frederick Md. In 2006 The Salon and the entire shopping center was destroyed in a fire. the salon rented space form Rennessance Salon and Spa for 19 months. In 2008 we took over GiGi Marie Salon at our current location 325 w7th Street. Across from FMH.

Daniel K.
Business Owner
Born in Frederick, Daniel Knight went to the academy of professional Barber stylists in Wheaton the fall after graduating high school. After apprenticing with cosmetologist adding more diversity his skills, building his clientele, Daniel was recruited to work, manage a salon in Gaithersburg MD. This opportunity would enable him to Purchased Softimagessalon with wife Pam in Frederick 1990. Adding twin brother David then younger brother Curtis to staff. Carefully adding the rest of the staff, and building a wonderful clientele the salon survived over 20 years before a fire that consumed the entire shopping center would displace the salon and staff. The salon moved to its new location on 7th street in Frederick.
